I think this is a great strategy game but I could not find out. Why? Because even the first mission has a stupid bug: Once you move your units near the friendly NPC unit ("green") your units change faction over to the green ones. And you can't controll them anymore. Have you ever tried winning a mission without any units? Stupid.

I really enjoy this game, despite the sometimes insane difficulty. I've had a really hard time playing Warsaw Pact. The AI is merciless and relentless. The graphics work well for it and the game plays quite speedy on a modern PC. I've had no technical problems playing on Windows 10 x64 (or Windows 7 x64).

I'm an old school wargamer and this satisfies that enjoyment and has a modern feel being RTS. So, buy this if: You like semi-realistic RTS, modern warfare, a real challenge, an excellent set of single player campaigns. You may not like this if high-difficulty is off-putting or you are expecting more of a game-style RTS with base building and such.

Fun but challenging. Not for the faint of heart. Helps if you are a military buff already well versed in military vehicles around the world. If not, get ready to be one.

Looking for the perfect ♥♥♥ kicking? This game provides excellent get-kicked-in-the-♥♥♥ technology. Good for players that know more than I do abou strategy and tactics. Lacks a good online community, but is fun for playing with friends. I had few bugs, although the game crashed at the end of the final mission in the Soviet/Polish campaign. This is one of the best modern strategy games available.

sometime it is frustrating-to-hell ridiculous low accuracy and distribution of firing shell especially rocket launcher like a water spread
bugs or something poor logical, sometime make units seem not receive mouse click command to stop rush into enmey group.
heli sometime make itself stupid to stare at them and quiet sit and do nothing i mean firing anything from full load of weapon after run into enemy swarm above their heads.

fighting units have no targeting strategy
for all units, there is no targeting priority, and there is no targeting distribution coordination between units.
and the CD time of targeting is ridiculous long, it happens when begin to target a new target each time .
Always, for all units in a group, start cd time of re-targeting after a kill same one enemy unit since they all targeted on that one before when it appear.
it makes overkill or loose all missile at mddile of flying towards a missing single target.

all helis always want to sit on the ground.
it makes situation deadly that a hooving recon heli sits on the ground to loose enemy sight in a heavy engaging.

This is a unique but very good modern strategy game with a lot going for it. Amazingly detailed backstory, units, strategic elements, resource management and excellent graphics and sound considering how old the game it. But be warned it is a hard slog on the single player campaign, don’t expect any hand holding or nicely nicely approach. I can't praise this game enough, get it now if you love strategy games even more so it’s on sale, thumbs up!

I want to see this features in the next Wargame series.

I wish that they have a features in multiplayer like; player can able to "choose role" function if the player wish to command units like:

Infantry role infantry with combat transport vehicles, recon vehicles & squad of course (for the players who wish to command infantry soldiers in multiplayer)

Armor role (for the players who wish to command tanks and recon vehicles)

Support role (for the players who wish to command Artillery vehicles, and Anti Air cover & recon vehicles)

Air role (for the players who wish to command Attack helicopter, Recon Attack helicopter and Fighter aircraft)

Not confusing isn't? this is what you called: Tactical Team Strategy game, World in Conflict style in Multiplayer.
(anyway RIP world in conflict online)

The purpose of this is that; if your teammates commanding tanks or Infantry and they busy on killing the enemy hostile, capturing command points in the battle ground, As teammate, your job is to protect or support them with Artillery, Attack helicopter and Fighter Aircraft for air strike fire support.

player able to used "symbol communication" (Requests Menu)

The Requests Menu contains a number of requests that can be sent to your teammates.
Many of the requests require the player to select a location, for example; select the position where the artillery should be placed. The other players will then see an icon on that specific location.

Requests Menu is an extremely powerful and effective way of communicating with other teammates.

TO:
Developer: Eugen Systems
Publisher: Focus Home Interactive

please include this features next time you make a new series of wargame.

I wish that you read my suggestion.

That's all Thanks

The graphics may fade. The units may age. But time cannot erode solid diamond gameplay.

Fantastic game. Why?
1. zoom system means that you can scale what you see from the entire battlefield to the regimental markings on a single tank - vast improvements over the RUSE system as well, the funny counters no longer appear
2. each battle escalates as it progresses BUT unlike RUSE which had a semi Age of Empres resource system, units appear appear from off of the board
3. the whole meta-game, for the first battle you play you actually only have a few units available, you need to unlock others as you complete the campaigns, play other people e.c.t. - your strategy will therefore be reflected in your army, did you unlock the artillery, or the helicopters?
4. I am actually a miniature wargamer, this game is like an epic version of my favourite game in real life - 'Battlegroup:Kursk' - there is a whole supply mechanic which means you have to really plan your offensives, and defensive moves.

If you like strategy, real strategy, then you may just be looking at the best game ever, I cannot praise it enough. If you are not so sure then I have had friends who have played this game and not enjoyed it so much: it can be confusing, complicated and annoying at first, but getting past the learning curve is well worth it.
