What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're just at the start of using our innate abilities to think and move in three dimensions to do things in a less limited way that we could with digital 2d surfaces.

Things like organizing your ideas and how they connect together...

This application is a starting point for a set of tools and integrations around the task of ideation or creative interaction with information.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Until the experience is comprehensive to the point of being a stand-alone productive application, for whatever purpose that turns out to be ;)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More import and export options.
Tools for working with groups of nodes”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“There's a basic set of tools and integrations, more are being worked on.

Currently you can:
  • Create, move, change color and name for nodes.
  • Import lists of names from .TXT files.
  • Import images as .JPG, .PNG or .BMP files.
  • Save your progress*.
  • Load your last saved progress*.

A primitive (megalithic) environment is in place but the setting will most definitely evolve along with the rest of the experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Help us in discovering new things to add or *change.

*Change being what it is some things may break along the way. While you can save and reload your maps in the current version, future versions may work differently and Maps done now may not work in future versions.”

About This Game

Noda lets you work with information in 3d-space. Data objects (nodes) and connections between them are represented as shapes and lines which can be created, linked, moved, removed and tagged to create and understand connected data.

Start from scratch adding your own idea bubbles and give them names with a virtual keyboard, or import lists and tables from text files or .csv files. Import image files for visual tagging. Connect things together and change your perspective by moving around. Save and restore your maps to update or revisit your work.

This allows something like mind-mapping or brainstorming on a whiteboard to draw big ideas and complex topics. You may find this useful for:

  • Conceiving a project
  • Planning an event
  • Plotting a screenplay
  • Mapping a network

The tools are generic so it's up to you what to use them for. Best wishes and let us know what you think!
