“Early Access allows for the community to help improve the game and bring it to it's fullest potential. It also funds further development so game improvements can be added.”

“Early Access will probably last about 2 to 3 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The basic mechanics of the game are mostly finished, so core gameplay shouldn't change much between Early Access and the full version release. For the most part, Early Access will be used for adding better models, visual polishing, audio work, and general user interface improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable, and features all the core gameplay that the finished game will. Some of the art (like game models) are still a work in progress, but it is fun to play with friends as is.”

“The game will see a small price increase at the time of official launch.”

Hello all,

The big announcement is that I have reworked my game structure. The base game is now free to play for 2 hours. There will occasionally be free weekends as well. After the trial expires, you can still make games, join games, and spectate, but you can no longer join a team.

If you want to support further game development, please buy the DLC which provides unlimited game access.

If you have already purchased the game, then you automatically have the DLC, so you don't need to buy it again.

Expect the changes to go live some time this afternoon.

Beyond that, some improvements and fixes:

-added re-centering and floor level compensation tools. So if your play space in steam VR doesn't match your room, you can adjust it in game.

-added super sampling option under visuals

-did a bit more work with grenade launching and minimum ball hold times. The game should now feel a bit faster, and give more of a defender's advantage.

-changed the way trigger holding effects the shot, so it will pull all the way back prior to using boost.

-fixed the bug where the game wouldn't start with full teams

-bunch of code optimizations to improve performance.

-new models
-better integrated voice

First big patch of Early Access

Hello,

So there have been a couple small patches, and one big one, but I will role them all together.

Added:
-New outline for ball, so you can see it even when blocked by Pod
-New tutorials
-Better Discord integration

Balance changes:
-Limit on launching if you are too far outside Pod
-Increased boost effect on grenade
-Removed boost while holding ball
-Added half second minimum hold time to ball, to give players more time to blow ball owner up

Bug fixes:
Fixed bug where grenade wouldn't detonate
Fixed bug where rapidly passing ball would make you unable to pick up ball
Fixed bug where you couldn't make a grenade
Fixed bug with game clock not starting with full players
Fixed bug where boosts would sometimes appear out of place

That's all for now, next patch will probably be out some time later this week.
