Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation Free Juggernaut DLC and v2.5 Update Now Available

Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation FREE Juggernaut DLC Reveals Devastating New Warships

Plus, check out the v2.5 update with lots of gameplay and modding improvements!

https://youtu.be/ovI6PuTXGjg

Free New Juggernauts DLC:

PHC Agamemnon
Designed to annihilate swarms of enemy units and overrun defensive positions, the Agamemnon has the potential to hold territory against waves of enemies for long periods of time. With two rapid-firing laser batteries and tempest missile salvos, the Agamemnon can saturate a wide area with highly explosive shells. Advanced triple-barrel autocannons provide improved defense against air units, but take care when you deploy this ship - it lacks the armor piercing capabilities to be effective against other juggernauts or dreadnought destroyers.

Substrate Eye of Darkness
The ultimate manifestation of the Substrate's technological superiority, the Eye of Darkness is capable of rupturing the fabric of space and time to destabilize targets at the molecular level. Its full armor-piercing and high area-of-effect attacks make this warship devastating for ground targets. However, be alert: it is the only Juggernaut that lacks any anti-air weaponry, which means that a well-timed slew of bombers could take it down if you don't plan its accompanying army very carefully.

What's New in v2.5:

For a complete list of updates, see the full changelog here!

Modding Improvements
Even first time modders can now find units quickly and easily. Reference names have been updated to reflect the display names known to players.

Sight Range Rework
To create more possibilities for players for outmaneuvering and interacting with their opponents, every unit and structure in Escalation has received an increase in sight range. This adjustment allows for more scouting opportunities and advantageous disengages from battle.

Frigate Speed Increase
A bonus has been added to movement speed in order to allow frigates to outmaneuver tougher cruiser armies and harass weakly defended areas more efficiently.

Balance Adjustments
Several units have been updated beyond movement speed. HP increases, cost adjustments, and projectile speeds are among some of the improvements made. In addition to the units, a few of the orbital abilities have been altered to improve efficiency.

What's new in v2.4:

Vulkan Support: Vulkan is a graphics-rendering API that offers enhanced OS compatibility and performance. Vulkan also runs on different OSes (Windows 7, 8, 10), and still receives all of the advantages as if it were running on the latest OS.

Campaign and Scenarios: Several scenarios and all 3 campaigns have been updated to refine difficulty levels, adjust to the changes of previous updates, and improve the user experience.

Modding: Modders have access to more parts of the game and will benefit from several changes that makes modding more intuitive.

Balance: Changes to air units, anti-air, drones, and dreadnoughts will improve strategic diversity. The Substrate also received some additional changes in order to differentiate themselves from the PHC.

FREE Co-Op Map Pack DLC

https://youtu.be/ZjR94-5l-hg

Grab a friend (or two or three!) for some epic battles on 9 brand new maps designed specifically for cooperative play. Spawn points are placed to keep teammates close together to allow for combined attacks and strategies. Clearly defined resources for each player prevents any fighting over spawn locations or expansion opportunities and keeps the maps fair and balanced for everyone.

New Map Info Below:

Delta Serpentis: Step into complete chaos in this medium-sized 4v4 arena. Navigate carefully around terrain, but be careful - defenses could be waiting to ambush you at every turn.

Gamma Draconis: If you like fast-paced and aggressive, this 2v2 desert map is for you. Combine efforts with your teammate for a deadly push through the map’s center, or favor a more devious approach by focusing your enemy's flanks.

Leporis: Build up an economy and grow your army before facing down your opponents. Built for 4 players (2v2) and to give plenty of breathing room, the battles on this map will be large and epic.

Mirach: Choose your paths carefully on this medium-sized 2v2 desert map. Large mountains and a wide basin limits movement, so you’ll have to plan ahead in order to get the drop on your enemy before they get the drop on you.

Merga: This long and narrow 3v3 map is surrounded by lava. Strategize carefully about whether or not you want to duel with your lane opponent, or combine attacks with your teammates for a decisive push.

Rigel: A turtler’s dream, this medium 2v2 map has only a single pathway through its center. You’ll need to concentrate all of your efforts onto the central killing field in order to be successful.

Ross 128: Narrow choke points and multiple pathways across this small 2v2 map for different strategies and attack paths. If you’re quick, you can lock down sections of the map and create some serious roadblocks for your opponents.

Talitha: For players who like huge, long battles with two team mates, Talitha features a wide open battlefield on the desert lowground and is the biggest 3v3 map to date.

Trappist: Designed for 3v3, but playable in many other game modes, the center of this medium-sized map contains a massive stockpile of resources. You’ll have to move quickly to prevent it from falling into your enemy's hands.

About This Game

The human race has expanded into the galaxy thanks to the wonders of the technological singularity. You have become so powerful that you can manage vast armies across an entire world that provide you with an ever greater galactic empire.

Now, humanity is under assault by a new enemy. Calling themselves the Substrate, they seek to annihilate the human race from existence. You, as an up and coming member of the Post-Human Coalition, must deal with both this new menace as well as renegade humans trying to lay claim to their own worlds.

Play as the Post Human Coalition or their eternal foes the Substrate and battle for control of the galaxy. Experience maps of unprecedented size and detail with the unparalleled power of the world’s first native 64-bit RTS engine, Nitrous.

Enjoy the game online with friends in ranked or unranked multiplayer mode or play it by yourself against a powerful non-cheating AI in skirmish or campaign mode. No matter what mode you play, strategy is the key: deciding what technologies to research, where to send your armies, how to manage your economy, and what units to construct are crucial to victory.

Experience a massive-scale real time strategy game where you wage war across worlds with thousands of units. The conflict has escalated, and it’s time to choose a side.
