1.578 - Caves

There is now a scene drop-down list next to Reset Scene (main menu) that includes 3D, 2D and Caves. All the buildable cave areas in Rust are included with the new scene. FYI, the allowed foundation overlap with cave walls isn't a perfect match with Rust. Something that will be improved if possible in future updates.

Adding caves required a few changes:
- new scene loading system
- setting which deployables can overlap cave walls
- more Rust accurate terrain overlap check for foundations
- tilt limit for deployables
Other changes:
- added shutters
- added part type filter for resource count, pick what not to include
- fixed bug with tri foundation height check
- fixed steps being placed over/under steps
- fixed hidden parts being removable in stability mode
- searchlight cost adjusted

All this work can be applied to building on rocks. So formations might be part of a new scene or might be deployable instead. Let me know what you think.

Unfortunately icebergs are randomly sized in Rust so this won't be that helpful. Might add the scene anyway.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. The 10th of this month marked the one year anniversary of Fortify on Steam. It has come a long way since then but there's still more to do. This has been helped greatly by the good suggestions and feedback I've received. Having many positive reviews on the store page is appreciated also. Just wanted to thank everyone involved.

About This Game

Fortify is a base designer for Rust. Anyone who likes creative building might also have fun with this.

Featuring the same parts and placement rules but with extra tools to plan your base faster (without fear of other newmans).

Get the resource count needed to build your base. See visual tool cupboard ranges.

See the calculated stability at any time and how it changes when using destruction mode.

Fortify now supports the save format used by the Copy-Paste Oxide plugin that allows importing designs into a modded Rust server or exporting bases.

Browse and import designs from the hundreds already posted on the subreddit and make your own modifications.

Plan with a friend or share a design with one click to create a pastebin link. Alternately you can copy to your clipboard and paste in an email or messenger.
