1.558 Update

Improved stability calculation is in!
Still needs some small tweaks but it is much closer to Rust now with pillars and unsupported floors. What a pain in the ass that was.

- added lantern and shopfront

- foundation steps can no longer be free-placed, fixed not always being able to place up and down

- hitting tab or changing parts exits edit mode

- more accurate height check for foundation parts (can go higher now)

- added height adjust for placing copied or merged structures

- fixed a bunch of issues with door codes

Hide Floors Patch

This fixed an issue where hide floors wasn't working in 3D terrain scenes.

If you did save a base while experiencing this bug, the stored level on those parts are still wrong. The workaround is to merge the save into a 2D scene which only uses the height for determining which levels to hide.

Sorry about that goof. Gotta get in the habit of testing more now that I actually have time for it. Oh and this patch also fixed walls missing when using "add floor" with a double walled layout.

About This Game

Fortify is a base designer for Rust.

Featuring the same parts and placement rules but with extra tools to plan your base faster (without fear of other newmans).

Get the resource count needed to build your base.

See the calculated stability at any time and how it changes when using destruction mode.

Fortify now supports the save format used by the Copy-Paste Oxide plugin that allows importing designs into a modded Rust server or exporting bases.

Browse and import designs from the hundreds already posted on the subreddit and make your own modifications.

Simply share a design with one click to copy the save text to the clipboard and paste in an email, messenger, or create a pastebin link.

Fortify will be updated to match building changes in the ever-evolving Rust. These other features are planned for future updates:
- show xp level needed for base parts
- cloud saves
- pastbin API (get a shareable link with one click)
- multiplayer
