Why Early Access?

“At Bossa we take great pride in working closely with you to shape the direction of our games and Decksplash will be no exception. Early Access was a huge part of what made 'I am Bread' a success and is part of our studios' DNA. Early Access allows us to work together with you to make the best game we possibly can - together.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We have an idea of where want Decksplash to go but we want to work with you, our players, to shape the final product. We’ll leave Early Access when we feel the game we’ve created together has the right feature set for a full launch!”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our initial focus on the Early Access version has been on getting the core gameplay feeling good. Our next priority is to deliver more content, features and longer term progression mechanics to create a more feature rich experience.

We will initially be focussing on adding the following features during Early Access:

  • More Arenas
  • More Decks
  • XP and Levelling up
  • Lootboxes
  • Customisation
  • Private Matches

We will also be working with the community to find out what you want added and improved upon in Decksplash.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The initial Early Access version is a polished, compact version of the final game. We have focused on ensuring the core gameplay experience - this means we've worked hard to get the spinning, grinding and competitive gameplay feeling as good as we can make it, before getting your valuable feedback.

From there we plan to move onto the new features outlined above.

However, as Decksplash is in an Alpha state you may experience bugs and there may be some performance issues, as we optimise the game for as many systems as possible. We would be grateful for your feedback on any issues that you experience, as this will help improve the experience!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“As the game grows and we add content the price will be reviewed and will likely be higher when we launch the full version of the game and leave Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“As with all our titles we want to work as closely as we can with the community during the development of Decksplash. From getting your feedback on bugs to finding out what features are most important to you, we really need you to be involved. Make sure you follow the game to take part!:

Hey Splashers!

We've had a crazy week of work and we've got a couple of goodies to show off, although don't just take my word for it. Check out this sneak peak!

Blogs, Features and More News!

Hey Splashers!
How are we all doing?

We're doing fantastic and are hyped to bring you some juicy news!
It's been awhile since we've posted on here, so we've got a lot to catch up on. Let's start from the top.


That's right, We're now doing weekly blogs on the Decksplash website over on the Blog Page!

We've had four insightful posts so far and there's plenty more to come as we aim to make weekly blogs our goal for the foreseeable future.

We've also got a new one that's JUST gone up, that talks about the game's origins from the Game Designer on the Project, Dre!

If you want to hang out with Devs or take part in our WEEKLY gaming sessions on Decksplash, you can head over there to hang out with like minded people and get involved with the development of the game itself!

We've also got a few new things for you to try out in this upcoming gaming session!

  • New Board Designs - We've got a bunch of new Grip Tape board designs for you to play with in this session!
  • Map Revamp! - The map previously known as Octagonal has been smoothed out and is thusly named "Notagonal"
  • Announcer Text - The announcer now has visual callouts as well to accompany the usual audio ones.
  • Redrum Redrum - The Rails on Observatory have now been made red to make them easier to spot.
  • GET TO THA LZ - The Landing Zone has updated assets showing what state it’s in, so you always know when to hit it up for extra combo multipliers.
  • Menu Secret - Looking at the main menu in this playtest will give you some insight on what to expect soon!

About This Game

Team up and take on your opponents in fast and frantic 3 vs 3 arcade-multiplayer turf-war action. Spin, grind and splash your deck as you battle your opponents to cover the arena with your paint. If your team’s paint has covered more of the arena’s territory by the end of the match than your opponents, you’ve won!

Decksplash gets you straight into the action but you will need to practise your moves and hone your technique to achieve the highest scoring combos. Beneath those cheeky deck designs there is deeper gameplay to be mastered!

Chain Combos

Linking tricks with grinds creates bigger combos and bigger combos mean higher scores... the higher the score, the more colossal your paint splash.

Create Tricks

For the first time in a Bossa game we give you GENUINELY responsive controls! Yes, you heard it right, in this game we want you to grind your deck and not your teeth! You have direct control of the board, allowing you to create your own tricks and combos to get the biggest score possible.

Dominate the Arena

Get to grips with the layout to know where the best scoring areas are for maximum paint coverage.


Ride through your team’s paint to build up your Shockwave meter and unleash a powerful blast that will disrupt your opponents and cause them to instantly lose their combo!

Score Zone

Drop a Score Zone with your Shockwave at strategic points in the arena. If your friends can land tricks in the Zone they’ll nail a score multiplier! Work with your teammates to place this in the right spots at the right time!

Study the Opposition

Knowing how big a player's current combo is lets you make meaningful decisions about what you should be doing. The size of a player's combo is reflected by the size and vibrancy of their trail and on-screen indicators show you their position when they are not in your field of view.

This is just the beginning for Decksplash, we have big plans and want to deliver the best game we possibly can with your help.
