The reasons, why you should get this game:
Regiments
Pretty good melee system
Pretty nice events (including tournaments) hosted by community.
Historically accurate factions & units
Some interesting game types on servers, scripted by community.
Shooting is meh for me but without it, this game would not be interesting.

The reasons, why you should not get this game:
Some really disgusting bugs that can ♥♥♥♥ you off
Sometimes servers are being pretty laggy

I still recommend this.

Overall, I felt that this dlc was terrible. First, lets start with what this game actually did well. It had really nice detail in graphics and sound, and good unit variety. The good unit variety allows you to choose a soldier to play as to your liking. That is all I can really say good about this dlc. To begin with how this dlc was was bad, lets first discuss the use of muzzle loaded guns in a M&B game. It does not work well because first, the guns are so innaccurate that I found most of my frustration with not being able to shoot a guy 10 meters away from me. The guns are so painfully inaccurate, that you would be better off charging with a bayonet than trying to actually shoot somebody. Second, the guns take around 10 second to reload. This is very annoying because somebody on the enemy team will just flank around and shoot you, or just charge at you with the bayonet. And of couse, you must be standing for the whole reload, and that creates a lot of stress because you will be shot at the whole time, and that is how I would usually die. Next, the maps are very glitchey. There will be a lot of walking through barrels and tents on certain maps. To continue, the spawning system is outright broken. You will either spawn across the battlefield from the enemy, or at very close range. I found that to be the most sloppy aspect of the whole dlc. That is why I give the Napoleonic Wars dlc a 3/10 as my final verdict. I really want my money back, and I highly reccomend you don't buy this dlc to save yourself the frustration.

A dlc that is worse then most mods featuring only multiplayer support, don't buy this as many mods do the same thing and include singleplayer content.

Well this is more of an opinion, than a review, those idiots that keep saying "put in a campaign" while they are wearing their metal dresses.. or cloth but whatever you know what I mean, they are sissies, sure I am not like "Omg I can block every single attack, and I hit every attack, PSHAW REGIMENTS I DON'T NEED 'EM!" but that is what is fun, the regiments, you can have real human contact with bots, unless if you are a weirdo -nudge nudge wink wink- (I mean the people who keep saying "put in single-player") but its about making your own regiment, or even an army if you want. But people usually call it a regiment. But seriously, I am making a mod, and if you want single-player make it yourself you sissy.
