10/10 This is three quarters of your Mount & Blade experience.
On this game there are massive communities in which people create regiments, these regiments all compete in weekly linebattles together with an average of around 160 players every battle.

I dont know why but as of the day I've purchased it, it'll only launch warband, and not give me the option to do the napoleonic wars selection like you should be getting. I still think it looks like a good game though. If this does not change, I'll have to e-mail steam support.

Amazing DLC for a game, runs well on most computers, definitley worth giving a try. The community is pretty great too (mostly). People tend to form regiments and host events which can be pretty fun, my most enjoyable experiences ingame were with the 54th Regiment of Foot. Probably one of my favorite games I've ever played, and I've played a lot of games, both on Steam and off of Steam.

I reccomend this game to everybody, other than those who play strictly for story, for it lacks a single player campaign.

UUUUAHHHHHHHH GOTT SCHUTZE DEN KAISER

But yeah, pretty worthwile if you ask me. The game's community is pretty active, and even if you're not in a group for it, it's still easy to find full public servers.

This DLC is absolutely genius. There is some single-player functionality, but it really shines in multiplayer. The Napoleonic Wars community has piles of player regiments (clans) that are happy to train you for 19th century combat as a rifleman, line infantry, cavalry, or artillery. My personal favorite aspect of this game is the commander battle. Fighting in a 20-player commander battle is truly an epic experience and requires a lot of tactical awareness and teamwork.

My only complaint is that in commander battles, you cannot manually change the angle of your regiment, but have to basically 'drag it out' in a really ad hoc way. Other than that one fault, this is the best value DLC of the decade.

Excited to see this DLC revived in Bannelords, in particular...

This game, is the best game I have ever played. period. While the graphics are a little rough around the edges, this game is beautiful for the amount of detail, texture and audio put into it. The community for this game(As well as for the other M&B games) is one of the best communitys I've ever seen. and the best part has to be the fact that you can run it on a potato. I have played this game on my moms old laptop that was made in 2009 and only has 2GB's of ram and it(While having to be put on low graphics) still played rather smoothly. The community, the detail, the Sounds and smooth controls make this game, in my mind, a 10/10. and I hope other people think that as well

With me! With me!! Charge!!!

Napoleonic Wars is a really addicting game. It has some great moments especially with friends. Just the other day in command mode, a friend called for me to save him. He was the last man in his unit of line, an officer who's men fell to a swift cavalry charge. He was running towards me while being pursued by a single lancer, another officer in fine head dress, who was adamant to run him down. I was a captain of Hussar Cavalry, while I ordered my men to hold position, I alone raced forward to save him. Positioning my horse between he and the Lancer, I charged from a trot to a full gallop and ran him through with the razor point of my saber. Once you get past the lance tip, it is a bit like killing rabbit. He was thrown from his horse, dead, as the beast ran back to their line. I saluted my officer friend with my saber and he did the same. We both returned to the line, the day's fighting had only just begun.

These are the kind of moments you can expect in Command Mode of Napoleonic Wars. If you are a fan of the time period or the great book series "Sharpe" by Bernard Cornwell then you will love this game. You can even role play as the 95th Rifles from the series as the Greencoats are present on the United Kingdom side. I, however, usually play the French. Look for me on the battlefield, my name is Jean-Luc Pierre.
