  • The ability to play multiplayer matches on random maps as well as hand-designed ones
  • Multiplayer equipment system: Earn money by fighting opponents or accomplishing goals
  • The ability to use most throwing weapons in close combat: Switch to using a javelin as a short spear when the enemy gets close

I Love you i spent only 800 hours playing this game but i have been playing this for long as a i remember.
i remember the first time i became a vassal, and Then became a king then i took over all of the land and spat in the face of Nords ( thats right ♥♥♥♥ you nords)
Then NW came out i join a Regiment and had even more fun.
This game is amazing and fun for a sandbox. Bannerlord is own the way and i hope to god they dont ♥♥♥♥ it up. this game derseves a good Expasion Sequal, what ever the hell you call it.

Sure the game looks out of date but you get use to it.
crashes when you alt tab but that dont matter
could be more Options for deplomacy ( Just go get a mod)

The Mods for this game are amazing and i hope this game never dies its earn its spot as one of the greats.

Mount & Blade: Warband
This game is an example of how cool can be a sandbox. You can do an awful lot of things
From zero to hero in this case, from mercenary to king. Well I will not write much , I will describe it in the pros and cons.

+ Open world divided into six kingdoms.
+ Character leveling system.
+ You can create your own kingdom with soldiers and generals.
+ Steam workshop.
+ Exciting multiplayer battles with 200 server slots.
+ The game requires tactical thinking.
+ Middle Ages. ( And multiplayer DLC Napolenic Wars )
+ You can choose equipment and companions.

- Graphic Design is already old.
- The level of difficulty is low.
- Not enough players in the multiplayer game.
- This game steals time. :)

What can I say , this game is awesome
Strong 9/10

After, over 500 hours of the game. I can safely, with all definite possibilities, say that this is indeed a great game.
Whether you're a Lord, a commoner, a hunter, a mercenary, a lady rising to aristocratsy, a trader, a slaver, a crossbowman, a leader, a tactician. No matter who you want to be. This game can make you that person.

From fighting atop horses, to fighting on foot, to fighting in sieges, and land-battles. With swords, maces, axes, spears, javelins, bows, crossbows, hammers, picks, pikes, bills, throwing knives, quarterstaffs, even your bare fists - This game will let you do whatever you want to in a Feudal-Based world.

Set in a feudal-Medieval landscape, the same to it's predecessor - Mount And Blade, named Calradia - There will be much to do with much time to do it in. The continent is torn arift, with six rival faction-states all vying for power. Each with it's only courts, castles, cities and vassals (Of whom have quite the amount of family members, be they father, son, brother, sister, nephew, niece, uncle, aunty) -- You're character is free to roam, choosing entirely as to what your role will be in this epic-society.

Be who YOU want to be. Act how YOU want to act. Duels, pillaging, fighting, peace - These, and more, will be your weapons in the feudal life that is Warband. Marry for love, or for power. Become a king, queen, emporer, empress of your own kingdom, empire, rebellion - Help rival lordlings cure their hatreds, or help worsen them.

Now, that I've done the whole "THIS IS A GREAT GAME. BUY NOW." salesman-thing. Onto the actual points about the game, and whether I truly believe the game is worth it's £15 (Because, let's be honest. £14.99 is just £15). Yes. It is. Through my long-time with the game, it's safe to say that I've not even scratched the very surface of the game's entire potential. Being a mostly-singleplayer person, though multiplayer is highly recommended - What with the thousands (Yes. Thousands.) of servers for several of the community mods up, I would be certain to tell you - You will not even be able to contemplate just how many new characters I've made.

But ofcourse, there's the buggy side. In the hundreds of hours I've spent, of my life, on the game - I can say that it's nigh bug-free, and there are only a few that would be of any irritation. Such as the poor use of lances by NPCs, but then again - That's not a bug, that's just the AI right? However, keep in mind that this game is a total sandbox, and the four, maybe five, bugs that exist are (By extreme!) outweighed by the perfection, that is Warband.

Is the game worth it? No. It's worth more, mate.

Mount & Blade is not new game for me, I spend hours of playing old M&B game before I was on Steam. Warband used all great things from original game and added plenty of new stuff. I LOVE THIS GAME. I can play it over and over , still diferent kind of story , always awesome. Not always easy and thats good :)

Its hard to say something bad about this game, many today's games cant compare with this one :)
This game is GREAT!

This is my favourite game of all time!

It was the first game i got and Steam, and still it is the game i play the most 90% of the time. I have only played over a 1000 hours yet i know people who have hit over 5000.

The native/vanilla version of this game is really great. You are in a medieval world where the possibilities are endless, you may serve a kingdom or become king yourself. Starting with you and a few dollar you can build a huge army and form an empire. You charge into battle with your men, its like watching a movie wher to huge armies just clash into each other and cut each other to pieces, but as this game is a sandbox it is DLC and mods that make Mount & Blade: Warband a true adventure

This game is amazing, great for those people who love roleplay, a good combat system and a great modding community. This is especially made with the DLC Napoleonic Wars, which includes awesome historically accurate uniforms and weapons and have great events called "Line Battles", in which player join clans/regiments and recreate what a battle may have looked like in the early 1800s with huge lines of infantry with drummers and fifers beatting with flags flying and officers commanding, while in the distance artillery batteries will be mowing down infantry and cavalry carving up the kills.

The modding is amazing, especially with the Persistent World mod and ones similar to that, with some of the greatest roleplaying i have experienced! There are also mods which will change the native medieval world into say Westeros for example or Medieval Europe, or even America during the civil war. The possibilities are endless with this game and i believe it deserves more recognition.

Overall i'd say this is an amazing game with great possibilities, and i'm just waiting for the next Mount & Blade installment, Bannerlord. You will notice Warband has dated graphics, but to be honest when you get into the gameit doesnt bother yoy what so ever.

Get this game u won't regret it!

I had a Life once then I brought this game.

But in all truths. This game may not have the looks or style of most others but with its amazing combat and community on such things as NW it makes it one of the best. A heads up though if you wanna get good it is not like most other games, this it take effort and time to be the best.

Last year before my third University year I wanted to show everyone how cool I COULD be so I got ahold of all of the University emails of my classmates and started emailing them from an anonymous Gmail over the course of a few weeks. I emailed them all 14 times in total, all of them aying something vague and slowly building up like you would when advertising a movie

>Email 1
This year you will all have a cool new classmate
>Email 2
Are you ready?
>Email 3
He's coming
>Email 4
He's coming very soon
>Email 5
This year the classmate reemerges as your once true (cryptic)
>Email 6
Would you like a riddle to help identify him? Well they are a riddle and a riddle can't help you solve a riddle so sorry, no riddle!
>Email 7 (2 weeks after the last email)
Just 1 week to go
>Email 8
Just 1 week
>Email 9
Just 1 week
>Email 10
Sorry, repeating myself? You will be repeating wow when the man in the silver coat comes to class
>Email 11
His clothes are ready
>Email 12
He will be a silver coated
>Email 13
Green gloved
>Email 14
Todays the day

After all this effort I went to class in my silver coat and green cloves confident. I honestly believed poeple would want to associate with me. But guess what? Nobody ♥♥♥♥ing said a thing. In fact someone laughed once when I coughed to try and gain attention. I was then sent several emails to my fake address laughing at me and calling me a dumbass loser.

This was the biggest failure of my life. I still shudder thinking about how foolish I felt. I spent hours deciding on the best times to send the emails, and how to keep them vague but interesting.

Needless to say I dropped the class and now play this all day.

I have already been playing this game over a year and a half and almost got addicted to it. It's amazingly amazing. The best melee combat system ever created, which needs real skill, practise and time to get the hang of it. Most of my hours are spent on Napoleonic Wars DLC. Historical accurate regiments and events created by a community, would make you to feel like a real solider in Napoleonic Era. So, if you love intense melee fights along with the historical accurate experience then Mount&Blade: Warband is for you. Thanks for creating this amazing game!

Holy crap is this game addictive. I spent 50 hours my first weekend, so look out (literally only game to ever do that to me). This game is a bit old, but still has a healthy modding community, graphics aged well, mechanics aged even better. The game itself is unforgiving at first but once you get the hang of it is pretty easy.
The cheats are a nice addition and aren't too over powered (I have died a couple times even with cheats enabled).

Really one of the best sandbox games I've ever played. Every once in a while I stop playing it because I'm too busy, but I always keep coming back to try and conquer all the land!

Combat is fun, the mechanics are fresh and actions have consequences, you can invent your own little stories and have your companions accompany you in your adventures. Some of your companions will get along, some of them won't, everything ends up feeling alive.

This is one of the few games that I just keep playing over and over out of pure enjoyement.

Wonderful - all be it a bit edgy - sandbox game. Start your own warband in a medival world and emerge as a glorious leader, lord, king, bandit, name it.
Choose your destiny amongst 6 unique factions each of them with their own mentality and troops, or assemble a mighty army from all realms, be a trader or mercenary to a faction or become vassal to a King or even become a King yourself - choices are nigh infinite. You can replay this game an infinite amount of times with different settings and it will remain interesting, and on top of that you can modify certain aspects of the game or go for one of the many mods out there ranging from all kinds epoches and additions (i must admit that M&B 1 fares a little better what regards the amount and quality of mods released).
There are some downers:
You will experience clipping and other graphic absurdities every now and then, it is not perfect.
The AI is a bit dumb-witted at times, in terms of field movements and tactical behaviour - the latter does not really exist actually, it is just troops spawning running towards one another and starting to beat each other up, it is up to you to be better than them.
There is a saying that "a lot of good work is lost over the lack of a little more", this is found to be true here as the grid for many diplomatic and military game options is actually present - it is just not used well by the vanilla game and left for modders to patch up.
The modders in turn often work on their own vision of how the game should be but then lacking the manpower to achieve their conveyed goals.
Good examples for this might be the "Sword of Damocles"-Series which is wonderful yet stricken with bugs on M&B 1, and in a seemingly eternal unfinished-we-are-working-on-it-but-play-this-in-the-meantime process on M&B:Warband.
Taleworld wanted to encourage modding for this game, but failed to provide an easily accessible scripting interface for modders to work with. This results in a game that is never 100% satisfying in vanilla, and a bunch of mods that aim to provide that satisfaction but fail half-way due to lack of manpower.

Nevertheless i must say i enjoy this game tremendously glad i bought it (M&B Package) as it offers a completly different feel of gaming compared to most more action-oriented games these days. No big explosions or noisy shooting and blurred vision and other mess, just a nice game with nice and sometimes funny NPCs and an eye for the neat things in life as well as a semi-realistic view on what life and war in medival ages might have been like.
