About This Content

Bring the sounds of authentic European culture from the age of exploration to Europa Universalis IV with a collection of traditional Swedish songs from the 18th Century.
15 songs from Fredman's Epistles have been arranged from Carl Michael Bellman's original works by composer Tobias Gustavsson with performances by Mikael Samuelson, Swedish baritone singer and actor.

Carl Michael Bellman was a Swedish poet, songwriter and composer who even today is a central figure and a powerful influence in Swedish music and Scandinavian literature. Fredman's Epistles are expressions of feelings and moods.

I downloaded this when it was offered for free, and promptly forgot about it as I didn't play the game for a few months. Then, when I broke the fast with some nice multiplayer, mu friends and I were suddenly and suprisingly treated to what sounds like the Russian version of "The Its Bitsy Spider Sieged the Castles of Westphalia." 8/10, I didn't expect a soundtrack addition could be this fun.

I'd say this is an OK song pack. The singing does sound quite weird to me since I don't understand Swedish, but it adds some variety to keep the music from getting stale too soon. You might get more out of it if you know the Swedish language, but if you don't, it's at least good to pick up either if you play Scandinavian nations a lot or got it for free like I did.

This dlc with music that really doesn't fit well into the game was given away for free. But then Paradox, like the money grabbing jews they are, decided to up the price to 2 dollars. Good job paradox, you da real mvp.

This music pack was just barely worth it, when it was given away for free. Now it is for sale for $2. Which is $2 too much.

It's free DLC, no reason to write a negative review of it.
Also, new music is always good news!

*Slowly I crawl out of my cave, the dim light of my monitor the only light in sight.
"This....this is mine?" I wonder, noting how Master Paradox had baited me before in pursuit of my wallet.
I am hesitant to grab it, but once I do I realize this is no joke, no prank. As I slowly realize the magnitude of these events, I only find the strength to say one thing:

FREEEEEEDOMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Absolutely awesome and very much a welcome immersive addition to attempting (and failing) to create the mighty Norweigian Empire.
