I decided to rewrite my review

The Sims 1
I haven't play this one sadly but I did watch my parents play which was great, never been more excited and giggly to see a visual me in a game.

The Sims 2
My first sim game, used to put hours into this sucker. Then my dad came along and created a sim, named it Black Widow and everytime I go to school, he takes the opportunity to lured my sims over, befriend them, flirt with them, seduce them and finally somehow murder them, then inheriting the money from my poor murder sims. He created a bloodlust serial killer to the point of the city becoming a ghost town. I will admit he made a cool graveyard of all the sims victims he murder. I stopped playing for obivous reasons I was quite teary that day, all that hard work for my sims down the drained lol.

The Sims 3
I have over 14 sims, finally did the university expanison such a pain in the ♥♥♥. I do find it slighty creepy that my professor likes inviting my sim and other sims students to their house and party no just no. No one parties with their professer it doesn't help he has the flirty trait too. Lol whatever I hoping to seduce him so I can get my grades up ( if that possible ) if so I can finally explore the rest of this interesting expanison, but again it proves a pain if your force to study every hour. My roomates are ♥♥♥♥♥ they all don't get along also are all snobs, one of them refuses to shower. Then a couple are always making out or doing romantic interactions in the most awkward of places. And finally a cool flower sim lives with me and I now good friends with her.

The Sims 4
Same forumla as the other sims but emotions are added to the mix, happy, sad, angry etc. I made a sim that is identical to me but I decided to make myself pregnant so I excited how that would turn out to be. But it probably going to be the same as Sims 2, if a male sim is aducted by aliens that sim will somehow get impregnated and birth a beautiful alien speciman.

Overall the Sims games has to be my favourite franchise to exist among games but it will require alot of multitasking and managerment to become a sim pro like me :D

Both Sims 2 and Sims 3 are the best games in the series, although Sims 3 has a lot of bugs. Most of them are easy to fix though. I will write a list of bugs and how to fix them, and then the major game breaking bug I'm still trying to fix.
These are glitches I ran into in my 58 hours of playtime with all expansion packs installed:

1. Sims getting stuck in a frozen position. How to fix: use cheat "resetsim first and last name"
2. University seems to be stuck in loading screen. How to fix: Edit town right before going to University, although you can also wait it out, but it loads for like 30 minutes.
3. Can't adopt stray cat or dog even though you are BFF with it. Fix not confirmed, but might work: ask stray to leave, and when it returns the adopt option will appear.
4. Sim stuck in sneak mode after getting grounded. How to fix: Either send your sim to boarding school, or go to edit town, evict your family with their house, bulldoze the empty house, place the family and house back where it was.
5. Can't use bed. How to fix: The same fix as glitch number 4. Not the boarding school fix, the eviction fix.
6. Can't get mail. How to fix: use the buydebug on cheat and testingcheatsenabled true, shift click the mail box, click object, click delete it, go to debug buy menu and buy a new mailbox.
7. Grim Reaper not taking away dead sims. How to fix: This glitch means the grim reaper is stuck, just do resetsim Grim Reaper in the cheat menu to fix it. Reset the dead sim where the reaper got stuck too if you can find the stuck reaper.
8. Bowl of food or any object getting stuck in your sim's hand. how to fix: resetsim first name and last name.
9. Certain sound effects stopped working. How to fix: save your game and load it again or relaunch the game.
10. The worst most game breaking glitch of all, and the one I only know a one time fix for... Sims stop aging when your new generation sims have a baby, even though aging is on. I tried a few stuff that the devs said would work, but it didn't work. I fixed the issue once with the help of a youtube video, but that fix only works once. If your aging stops again, it won't work. That trick is to go to main menu and copy your saved town by clicking copy town next to the delete button, and then play the copied town. Aging will be back in working order until your 3rd generation's baby grew up into a toddler. That's where I'm stuck at the moment, and I searched for a solution for quite some time. People say either use mods or start a new game and delete the old save. I refuse to delete my save though, I played 58 hours with my family. Also, I don't want to download any mods, because the mods changes some things I don't want to change, plus I don't know how to mod games in general. I hope you found my fixes helpful though, and I hope one of you guys can give me a permanent fix that always works once the sims stop aging, because I really want to continue playing with my family.

Why do I still recommend this game? Because it's excellent and the world feels alive and completely dynamic and open world. It not only feels that way, it is that way. Literally. For example, while you are living your life, other sims will live theirs, and you can see them do it. They move, get married, have kids, adopt pets, age, die, go to visit others, visit the park and other places, etc, plus you can affect their lives by interacting with them, like you can break up a couple by kissing someone in front of his or her lover, etc. I bought all the expansions in the sale for about $74. Great game, lots of content, and if it's 75% off, affordable if you want to buy all dlc. As I said, the only bad thing about the game is the bugs. The aging bug in particular. I heard some people had success moving them out and back in, but I haven't tried it yet. Anyways, if you got the money and you like sims or the genre in general, you will love this game. Just use my glitch fix list if you want a smooth experience.

First off: With all expansions this game is ridiculously expensive ... and for all that it's still incredibly buggy... I don't even want to start to explain how many times or in how many ways it has tested my patience over the years ;-)

Dispite all that: I regret nothing. I can't help it, I love this game. There is so much to discover, so much content. I spent many happy hours playing and it's not boring yet.

Would life just be great if...

You could Motherlode in real life then maybe you would be able to afford these expansive DLCs !

"No Bills Ever" lifetime rewards exist in real life so that you don't have to worry about paying your bills?

You could just read a book for a week and become CEO of a company the next day.

Your car can drive 1,000 MP/H, turn without slowing down, being able to pass through cars as if it was some ghost.

You could just greet, chat, chat, chat, chat, chat, flirt, flirt, flirt, flirt, kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss and marry the person all in one day?

You could build your dream house in 0.001 Millisecond?

You could testingcheatenabled and remove all negative moodlet, raise your needs meter so you'll never have to poop, eat
and sleep ever again?

You could just CTRL + Shift click any person and remove them from existance?

You could live forever, assuming your relatives bake an Ambrosia ( if it exist ) for you to eat or you could just carry this black flower with a skull in the middle and give it to some creepy figure with a scythe so he'll revive you anyways?

724 hours played and I still haven't done everything in the game.
Bored of your character? Create another one!
Bored of the town? Use/Download another one! (or even create your own)
You don't need all the DLC to have fun with this.

There is the very rare crash, but I've just made the rule to save every in-game-night and then alt-tab and do other things whilst it's saving. It takes a while to load but the beauty of it is that you only need to load it once and that's it. Enjoy playing your game for the next 24 hours without a loading screen!
There are the micro-transactions in-game but you don't NEED any of it. It's all just for show. If you really want something fancy, that's what the 'Create-a-Style' is for. Make a couch with puppy dogs printed all over it, I dunno, up to you.

It's an amazing game, terribly addicting, and IMO will always be the best Sims game.

Had this game for about 4 or 5 years now, and I still find myself coming back to it occassionally. There's just so much fun this game has to offer that other games can never hope to recreate. Did you ever want to help a nerdy vampire body builder with social anxiety slowly work his way to the top of social class in the neighborhood? Or maybe experience the torment it is to be a single gardener with a large plot of land and way too many cats? You can only find these unique and quirky experiences here, and help these seemingly helpless cases prosper into greater portions of themselves.

Even if you uninstall this game after playing it for a good while, it'll always welcome you back with open, warm, nostalgic arms.

Yup, the Sims, like it was meant to be. 100 bucks for everything on sale, great official forum on how to get the store items. Sims has always had a great mod scene and the game can be made beautiful and customized to your way of playing.

-better graphics than previous versions
-overall more options for building sims, including personality traits
-designing houses is pretty fun! they have all new elements to choose from, from a VR set to coffee makers
-sims have more actions to choose from when interacting with others, which makes gameplay more interesting
-occupations transpire into career goals which also adds another facet to gameplay
-you can still use the 'motherlode' cheat to gain $50,000 or whatever the sum is

-although there are seemingly more features, when designing sims you can't change their height which is annoying
-sometimes all the features can be cumbersome
-building house features are more complex than in sims 2 and seem more complicated than they should be
-gameplay can be laggy

I've only logged abput 12 hours so far. I don't remember running into any major bugs, although the gameplay can be laggy sometimes when theres a lot going on. I read some reviews and I guess you can fix some 'stuck' erros by typing in the code "resetsim first and last name".
also apparently you need to enter a product code in somewhere after you purchase Sims 3 and start the game. Steam gave me a code but I have yet to enter the code in...I have no idea how to do this (am I missing something?) but I can play the game just fine, so that's weird.

I still think Sims fans will enjoy playing this game.
