Dead Space 2 Review:
Pros: Immense story about an engineer 'Isaac Clarke' who can't escape his past and is slowly losing his sanity.
Clarke actually talks unlike in DS1, so instead of just making grunting noises you can actually understand his personality and what he is going through.
Adding Isaac's girlfriend into the game as a hallucination, not only adds a creepy effect but also shows you how guilty Isaac feels about not making it to the USG Ishimura in time and how he lives with a seemingly intolerable form of PTSD.
Jump Scares galore, always check your corners.
Tough situations to survive if not approached correctly.
Lots and Lots of crates to smash.
Multiplayer is a nice touch, although at this point the servers are pretty de-populated.
Cons: Combat is basically the same as DS1, not really a bad thing but for some people it affects the game.
The final push leading to the final battle is very hard to survive on anything higher than normal.
Need to use an EA account to play multiplayer, once again not a problem for everyone but some people don't like EA.
Final Score - 9/10 One of the best SH games I've had the chance to play.
