A treasured friend gifted me this game and it filled me with joy. Who doesn't enjoy free stuff!

After many painful minutes of trying to get to the main powerpoint slide it instantly crashed when I tried actually playing the actual basketball game. Then it hit me like a ton of bricks, this game is forever in my library of games.

If you truly hate someone, want to be a d*ck to a friend like mine or taint your steam profile with bad games you've found the game for you!

Otherwise abandon hope now.

This game is just plain ♥♥♥ broken. Random crashes to the desktop are the norm. Never actually go to play a game yet.

There's no game in this.
There's no way to sanely navigate the menu, and some of the buttons are broken.

Spend your money on bubble gum instead of this.

This game has been uninstalled on My PC since the first 143 seconds of opening it up. I'm not sure I would even call this a "game" as it is more like a powerpoint presentation. Windows notepad is more fun than this program. The menu is horrid, the grammar is horrid, player names are spelt incorrectly.

I still see this in my game library at times and have even googled "how to dis-own a steam game" because it insults my library by just being there in the list.

If I didn't already own this game, and Steam were forceably giving it to people with an option of paying $2 to NOT own it, then I would pay.

That is how bad it is. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Avoid this at any cost, even in sale. The game is as deep as a plate and as appealing as Excel lite in red, means you could have more fun with Excel. Overall this is just an ugly RNG with no indepth.

Steam gave me this game for Christmas in 2011, and despite being completely FREE, it's not worth playing.

I've been playing sport manager games since 1980s, but this one is really one of the worst - runs really slow and horrible (and I mean horrible) interface that looks like it was made by 10-year-old who never seen any interface in his life

This is a very nice game but I recommend it only to die hard "Old School" manager games fans. The rest better stay away from this.
Also the steam version of the game is buggy. You must apply the following fix in order to play the matches:
1. Disable temporarily windows UAC. (Here is how: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/turn-user-account-control-on-or-off )
2. Download www.wbmgame.com/files/registerdx8.zip
Unzip inside "C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\world basketball manager 2010" and double click. Note that if you are using Vista or Windows7 you must right click the file and select "Run as administrator"

This is from the official website FAQ & Tech Support: www.wbmgame.com
There is also a 2014 version there that is bug free.
