This is game is pretty good despite it having a lot of glitches, steam really needs to fix this and make this more suitable for modern PCs.

It's bad.

Vehicles were cool

Movement is like walking on ice, it takes a while to get momentum which means you can't dodge quickly and you cant stop once you are running, which means trying to duck into cover usually ends up with you sliding past out into the open again and unable to reverse direction.

Enemies are super accurate, I played on medium difficulty, I can't bring myself to repeat everything I've done again to see if the easier difficulties are different.

In the first mission, you are forced to stay in the tower with no cover even though it's a bad tactical position and unnecessary, you can see into the compound from the bottom of the tower, the game tells you to shoot someone while showing them through the scope then takes you out of scope, the person disappears completely and I'm being shot from somewhere I assume is the person I'm tasked to kill... nope. so I'm looking everywhere for this person who I was just shown in the scope as being in the compound, using the scope, using the binoculars with the targeting thing, no one is there, all the while I'm being shot and blown up from somewhere, I eventually find out that a regular soldier has spawned behind me, I kill him and only then I'm allowed to leave the tower.

I have no desire to keep trying to play this sluggish crap to see if it gets better.

At least I bought this on sale.

The movement controls are very bad, it's like moving on ice. Takes a long while to get up to speed and you glide to a stop no matter what the terrain. Moving is just incredibly sluggish. I assume movement controls were fine when this game was released in 2003, but on my computer it's totally unplayable (Win 7 x64, Nvidia 560Ti, i7-3770. Running in various compatibility modes had no effect and I could not find a way to fix the issue.

Confession: I couldn't get through the prologue. But after 2+ hours I thought the difficulty was a bit cheaty with the game directing you in one direction then having enemies popping up behind you, putting you at a height disadvantage with enemies wearing bascially the same colors as the walls. At least there's a quick save.

Could have been an ok game, and perhaps later levels redeem the game. But the issue with the movement controls just kills the experience. Save your $2 and get something else.
