Well, i was very exited when i've watched the trailer of the game, and i was very happy when i've seen the launch discount, and it's a very sad moment for me, maybe because i overexpected something, i dont know, but the game itself just dissapointing:

+it's cheap and has steamcards what makes it even cheaper to buy
+the gameplay time is very short, what allows you play this game while playing other lets say in queues or in short breaks from other games + it has very fast afterlose start so if you die a lot you can start new games very fast upon each death
-the music itself is very basic, not because of 8-bit, but because those mixes feels very simple samples of the music, it's a big minus of the game where half of the fun is music
SHORT VERSION OF 2 MINUSES BELOW - obstacles does not correspond with the music and you cant rely on your vision at the same time - super lame
-I see a lot of people comparing this with audiosurf or superhexagon - IT'S NOT LIKE THOSE GAMES BECAUSE - the music does not correspond in any way with obstacles - it's not THAT hard to make obstacles fit the music specially if it's 8-bit music and x2 x3 x4 speed ups could've been put into 1/2 1/4 1/8 parts of the beat. Maybe it's personal but for me because of this, the game is just not fun to play.
-obstacles dodging does not feel reliable - yes you fly fast BUT when you dodge the obstacle in front of you, most of the time you cant figure out how far the next obstacle at left and right, so when you deside where to press - its a game of luck for you if you survive or not, and at the advanced levels - additional visuals blocks the scree - you see directing arrows but they block the vision of incoming obstacles - thats just super lame, they could be transparent or in another place at least where they wont block the vision.
-this game is very small (55 mb) at the same time it lags the other opened game when 2 games opened simultaneously, i dont know why it loads my i7 so hard ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but the fps loss pretty big.

Conclusion - i cant say its a GOOD game, but you lose nothing if you buy it, try yourself if you will like it or not and you can do the refund, because its a half an hour experience game which costs super low. Little to win but nothing to lose.

I'm a big fan of games like this, super hexagon, audiosurf etc.

Edit: After getting used to the visuals etc. It seems rather alright in the learning curve. Still, not for everyone.
Would recommend for non-rage quitting 8bit music loving masochists.

This game is all about Speed, Reflexes and Frustration.

Pros:
-Good art style
-Good music
-Fun yet challenging
-Simple controls

Cons:
-A litttle on the shorter side
-Rage inducing

Had a lot of fun when playing this. Even in the frustation of being so close to finishing a level and then crashing, I still was having a good time. I have a quick review showing what the game is also. Would recommend.

Have you ever wanted to play Battletoads Turbo Tunnel in 3D from a first person perspective? Probably not, but you really should, because that's pretty much what this is, except 103% more awesome. This was such a fun, unexpected experience, and is well worth the few bucks.

What sets this game apart from other "rage" games, is that it's still fun even after you've died for the 50th time on the same level. You don't feel like the developer took the easy way of inflating a games longevity by arbitrarily raising the difficulty of a task. The bar is set high to begin with, but it's a fun, near impossible challenge.

Barrier X is hard arcade where you must dodge barriers super fast.
The game have incredibly simple graphics but soundtrack and color management, pleasantly surprised.
The Barrier X is simple to control (tap left or right to dodge), and really hard to play.

Overall this game is very well-designed and easy to understand.

This game is FAST AS HELL! I LOVE IT!!!

This isn't my usual kind of game, but I couldn't resist a free steam key just sitting there on imgur. Upon starting up, I was greeted with aggressively vibrant visuals, and a very focused interface which directed me to gameplay almost immediately. The game itself is hectic and fast-paced, matching the visual and audio design perfectly. It's a fun, satisfying challenge that (thus far) keeps itself interesting by periodically introducing new concepts to the same core game. It's not hugely original, but if you like how it looks you'll probably have fun playing it.

Here we have a simple, addictive and challenging game. The graphics, sountrack and gameplay are amazing. Just think fast and keep away from the red line.

Daammm!....this game is GOOD! If you are bored, after playing this you won't feel bored anymore.
After just the first level my hearth was pouding so fast! And the graphics make it so immersive.

From what I've seen you have 7 levels (B, A, R, R, I, E, R), which may seem very few, but the difficulty will keep you from reaching the next level in a small amount of time, so you can expect it to worth the money.

10/10 will keep hiting walls again...and again....and again...
