"Couldn't you already build a soccer stadium?" you might ask. Well, yes you could. But now you can build a bigger stadium in which actual games are played and your city can receive award money for winning. It's not a full-fledged football manager. You won't be maintaining a roster, setting depth charts, or trading players with other teams. This is a city-builder, not EA Sports. But you can set ticket prices, customize your jersey color, and enact a few expensive policies to improve the performance of your team and the quality of the area surrounding your stadium.

It's not earth-shaking, but id does add a nice bit of personality and flair to the city, and makes it feel more like *your* city. And the DLC is FREE! So there's no reason to not download it.

The game was also recently patched to version 1.4, which added a new landscaping and terraforming toolset. You can now raise, lower, and level terrain, as well as place environmental decorations and canals. The terraforming tool even employs a conservation of mass mechanic that requires you to relocate soil to other places on the map when lowering terrain, or to pull soil from other places in the map in order to raise terrain. So even though you can alter the underlying terrain, the geography still seems meaningful! This lack of meaningful geography was one of my greatest complaints with Snowfall, and it's funny that content in a free update seems to be more thoughtful than a full paid-for expansion was.

Its free and it is a suprisingly good dlc, I am not much of a soccer fan other than on Rocket League, but this dlc fits so well in all of my cities. I would definitely reccomend this to friends! 10/10 Here is some mod free screenshots of it! My city is also somewhat good when it comes to match day!

Free DLC. Someone at EA/Ubisoft just felt a disturbance in the gaming community.
I mean its free like or dislike. You did not pay for it.

1st: IT'S FREE.

Even if you don't like the beautiful game, soccer, futbol, football, association football whatever you ♥♥♥♥ing call it.

Seriously.

You can build a stadium and a game will be played every year. You'll get money from tickets, and if you win you get a cash prize, that looks to increase with every win (Not sure how the mechanics work)

You will HAVE to look at the traffic flow, add metros, buses, taxis etc and make sure your spectators can get there on time. The more fans you have in the stadium, the higher the chance of winning.

Only problem is you cannot rename your team. I wanted to rename my team from Fart Town FC to Methaners AFC, thank you very much.

10/10, because it's free. Even if you don't like football. You have no reason NOT to get this.

Great. It's just a shame that people come to the match about 2 months before it starts and then the match goes for 2 months.
