Hello,

this game is really worth the money! If you're into management games, give it a shot.
It is surprisingly complex, polished and fun. Still I experienced some minor bugs from time to time.

Downsides: I'm not a hardcore-strategist, so I needed several hours to understand the mechanics. Unfortunately the moment i felt warm with everything, the game was finished. The steam-workshop is well supported, so players are obviously intended to create the new content - but right now it's rather deserted.

One thing needs some re-thinking: the gamename-giving blueprint-editing was way too unwieldy - and thus not nessessary to beat the game. I ignored it.

TLDR:
+ FUN
+ COMPLEX FOR A CASUAL GAME
+ CHEAP

- TOO SHORT
- BLUEPRINT-EDITING FIDDLY
- SOME MINOR BUGS

Tycoon bliss very similar to Prison Architect, but family friendly. It is complex, but for players who like to micromanage this is a logical santuary of 16-bit bliss. Be prepared to learn code subconsciously! It's like an animated mindmap of efficiency. Blueprint Tycoon is a highmark in an already overcrowded 'tycoon sim" market. It makes realistic micromanagement and economics into a fun 90s style sim. While the graphics are Sim City, (which I love) the mechanics for Blueprint are the next generation of tycoon gaming. It makes your brain work in a good way. Maximize Efficiency!

I think this game is very good and there is actually still lots of place to improve.

I hope this game can have co-op or muti-player mode in the future :)

Thie game is fairly confusing even in it's tutorial. I like management games but this one trips over its own details. Needlessly complicated.

Perfectly balanced management game
I love management games like Cities:Skylines and Prison Architect. This game may look simple, but it isn't. Do not fear, though! Once you work out how the GUIs work its really easy to get working, and with the enormous production tree its bound to keep you working.
  • Well worth the £2 price tag
  • Endless fun (For people who enjoy endless management, that is...)
  • Difficulty slowly ramps up as you experiment with new blueprints
  • Great challenge to keep workers happy
Down to the price, this game is well worth a try.
And all reviews that are negative are either old or done by noobs.

P.S. Can someone tell me if there's a co-op?

Don't let the graphics fool you. A very enjoyable game with good gameplay.

The only con is that there could have been more scenarios for longer games, or more late game content.

But at this price it's pure madness not to try it out.. Go play..

I love management games such as Anno series, Cities Skylines, and Tropico to name a few. Although the game appears simple, Blueprint Tycoon has a complexity about it. The challenge increases once you start playing around with the actual blueprints in order to find a more efficient and quick way to produce the desired materials you need. Yes, you will find yourself frustrated when you change something, don't know what you changed and it disrupts production, but the reward for seeing the level of efficiency approve in harvesters and other buildings is entertaining. The production tree, colonizing islands for fertility, and satisfying the needs of your workers remind me of Anno except stripped down to a base level with blueprints. I think it is a great, creative game for the price, and well worth it.

Excellently balanced "tycoon" game. Brilliant game thoery. Could do with some QoL UI changes, but it's simple enough, rewarding enough, deep enough, with a nicely done "optimization" system. Definitely worth a play if you like the management type sims.

Awesome game. It may look like a toned down version of Factorio, but this game is great through and through. Interesting tech trees and a lot to keep tabs on. It may look easy, but it is not. However, it is very forgiving, so you are always able to "get back into it", it just may take some work on the basics before you can build up to higher levels.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. If you like supply chain management games like Civ City: Rome, Zeus, and Anno: 2070, then this will definitely scratch that itch.

You can go quite deep in this moderately challenging citybuilder. The soundtrack keeps your head cool as you're trying to figure out the most efficient way of creating supply lines for your factories. With community created maps this game has a lot of replayability. You're really getting your money's worth with this one!

I like writing detailed reviews so people can form their own opinions but for this one I'll only say this:

Yesterday I complained about not being able to delete my scenarios, not only did I get a personal reply on a saturday but what do i get the next day... on a SUNDAY! A new patch with a delete button.

Such dedication to their game is something you don't see often, I supported this dev with their previous game, this current one and I'm sure the next one as well.

As always, my review is my personal opinion and you should inform yourself properly before making any purchase. :)

To start this off, I love this game. There are fewer things in this world as satisfying to me as building a system that can automate a task so I don't have to be directly involved once the system is running. Set it and forget it.

This game does that really well. After I get a production chain up and running, it just take infrequent checking to make sure it's still meeting the needs downstream.

The issue is, they don't keep running. In the current build of the game, the buildings (not just 1 specific one, but any and all of them) stop producing or stop delivering items. Output stops, so the chain breaks, and everything downstream that relies on that building stops working.

Up until I got to Tier 3, I was able to keep an eye on everything and keep deleting and readding the chains as they would break. With Tier 3, I have 4 islands running and I can't manage it. I've had to wipe and start over 3 times because it got so broken, buildings collapsed because their needs weren't being met, and there was nothing I could do to catch back up.

This is the only bug I've found, but it's game breaking. I can't continue to progress in the game while this bug is in the production build of the game.

That said, I will be monitoring DAILY for an update to come out so I can resume playing.

8/10

What a precious little game this is! At first glance the graphics are very minimalistic and when you first start the game up you might think this a negative. I think it's a rather well thought through design decision. As the game progresses past the setup of your first few buildings the screen quickly gets filled with information, but the simplicity of the graphics design makes it easy to keep track of it all. There's small visual ques on the buildings that show you the rate of production or if there's a hiccup somewhere and production has stopped. Clever design that quickly becomes second nature to read.

The music adds a soothing backdrop and I quickly find myself in the tycoon game spirit of just wanting to optimize this one thing, just one more supply route to sort and it'll be perfect, but you're never quite done. You keep chasing that next big payoff while trying to manage your resources. Your goal never seems out of grasp and that makes this game rather addicting.

I will say that at first this game bombards you with information. It's not immediately obvious how things connect and what you need to do. But the tutorial is amazing. It shows you the steps without being too long so if you forget and come back to the game later on you can quickly blast through the tutorial to be reminded of the motions.

There's a great depth to how far you can go with the streamlining of your production and the devil is in the details. It's all about the blueprints. You set each building up to produce something and there's generally a blueprint for it. There's default blueprints which you can use to get a basic idea of a setup, but beyond that you'll want to fiddle with them a lot to up production and thus your cash flow. I love the idea of the default blueprints because they let you get on with the game quickly and help you save some 'oh ♥♥♥♥' moments where you've missed a vital part of your production chain. I also love how you can change them and build your own setup using a variety of fun tools for your workers. Who doesn't want to use a jetpack to quicken the process of goods delivery in a supply chain?!

I see some people are having trouble with the text size, but this is because the game launches at a low resolution. Simply bump it up to where you usually play your games and all the text is easily readable.

As I'm writing this there are some issues in the game, as is expected with an early access game. Some menus overlap eachother in an annoying way and some internal workings need a little bit of streamlining, but I've not had any crashes or hiccups or gamebreaking bugs. I'll be keen to watch this game develop and evolve because even though some edges are a little bit rough right now you can really tell there's a true gem at the center of this production.

Pretty nice game for those who likes game minecraft, factorio, theme hospital and so on and so forth. Minimalistic design and good music + this game quite challenging.

+Visuals - Game is quite colorful, and fits blueprints style pretty much.
+Time consuming - personally it took a lot of time just to complete tutorial for me since this is not my game genre hehe.
+for an early access game this game already fully playable, at least looks like it, what is rare for all those infinite EA games.
+Super cheap
+You can rearrange the interface as you like
+Now with a steam cards
-Personally some windows text was too small for me, and if you change resolution to some small window, it becomes quite a problem.
-Tutorial is quite complicated i think they could put a tutorial for a tutorial lol. Yeh i'm not a smart person.
