Great Game actually I personally don't really like the point and click like feel but asides that this is a pretty awesome game. THis game is like the original 1980s Clash of The Titans, meets Total War: Rome Gold Edition meets any hack and slash but with huge variety in styles of gameplay the RPG elements are countless and the game overall is very unique feel for me at least. It's not strategic like Total War but when you start the game the intro scene is amongst the most badass intros I have seen and got me hyped up until I saw it had a lame RTS feel to it except no RTS elements at all. Other than that problem the game is great, endlesss hours of fun, the DLC/Expansions are worth getting as well and great MP based kind of game. Visuals: 7/10, Story: 7.5/10, Gameplay Mechanics: 4/10, Replay value: 10/10 and just a overall different experience but fun at the same time.

I look forward to compleing the Quest and starting on the harder quests -- I am nor at level 41 and still going strong.

I have run a "bunch" of characters through this game since 2007. I reordered on Steam since I can no longer get updates for my hardcopies (what the heck...$5 for both). I did have trouble starting the game on my 8.1 system but initiating with the "play" button on the Steam site (rather than my desktop icon) solved the problem. Game now starts without trouble even using my start icon. Options menu allowed adjustments for my widescreen and the game looks great. I think it looks better than Diablo. Lots of loot. Nice little story. A game that has held up very well. One of my favorites.

One of the original '3D' roguelikes.
Still mostly holds up.

Graphics are still reasonable, although a some HD textures would be lovely as everything is extrememly grainy if you play on high resolutions.

True to the code of the Roguelike, the aim of the game is a point and click to attack, and collect loot/Repeat. If you dont like that kind of thing, you'll hate this game.

Controls are good, and monsters are always interesting, and dont always react the way you'd expect.
Also the design of the Greek myths and legends is inventive and fun.

7/10

Skip this game: internet servers don't exist anymore and playing LAN over VPN is buggy / doesn't work.

False advertising through steam

Although it's been released back in 2006. The so-called before Skyrim-era. It's still a fun and good RPG. The system with the mix-and-match talent trees makes Titan Quest very fun to play. The trees have a lot to offer and you can't max out everything, choose wisely.

Gameplaywise it's a classic ARPG. Diablo like.

Recommended. Especially for the coop-mode.

I remember this being the best Diablo clone at the time of launch. If you don't mind the similarities (I did say "clone", right?) it's surprisingly good. And you can't really go wrong with a game like this set in ancient Greece. Plus, it's almost as good as Diablo III, if not better. Uhm...yeah.

If this game had decided to have a save system that wasn't reminsicent of an NES title, it would've been pretty fun. No, Titan Quest, I don't feel like slogging through the last 30-40 minutes of gameplay all over again because I died. I'm sure it was extremely hard to build a save system that allows you to save as you go.. or maybe they just liked the retro "checkpoint" feature that's been irrelevant since 1996?
