Okay, I assume many of you are thinking about playing this game, since, let's be honest, ponies.
Now, do I recommend it? Tough decission.
On the plus side, the game has, well, ponies. You can ♥♥♥♥♥ them, clean their hooves or brush their cheeks - great!
You can even breed them.. don't need to tell you that I'm all in for mating horses.
Did I mention you can give your horses names? Oh, and they come as Unicorns and Pegasi, too.
Now the game is basically a mobile game, and you would expect it on like a cell phone. It's repetitive.. You need 2 level 1 horses to breed a level 2 horse, 2 level 2 horses for a level 3 and so on. Every horse can breed only once, and you need 5 level 5 horses to win .. you can do the math yourself and find out how many horses you need to buy and train all in all.
(it's 80 level 1, 40 level 2, 20 level 3, 10 level 4 and finally 5 level 5 horses, so 155 horses to train in the same few training grounds over and over again)
Those horses can then go to work and earn their living, which is just (as you may be used to from mobile games) waiting time for you. Now, that's the game mechanics, and it's a great time sink...
But.. what really ruins the game are the bugs. Horses just disappear, upgrades you bought disappear and so on..
For example, you buy a new box in your stable, let's say it's the first new box you ever bought and cost you 300bits.. now, if the box magically disappears (which happened to me in two playthrough attempts) the only way to get a new box will be to buy the next level upgrade for 900bits.. and so on..
Gave it two shots, both times a level 3 pony just 'disappeared' nowhere to find, even reloading and old save file didn't bring it back for some reason.
But the worst thing is:
Once you're emotionally attached to your horse, brushed its mane, hand fed it with only the best oats, bonded on al those tricky parcours, searched the perfect breeding mate for it... you have to sell it for profit cause you'll need the box.. broke my heart!
