What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Alongside our pre-designed levels, we also want to facilitate the creative minds of our players. Using Unreal Engine 4 and Steam Workshop integration, we are currently working on a Level Editor for players to create their own unique puzzles.
We have already started development on the Level Editor and plan on fully releasing the game once this is complete.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Less than 6 months.
Our programming team is fairly small and developing an end user Level Editor is new territory, but having already started development on the Level Editor they are confident that it will take less than 6 months.
The team at Itsfine Games are still studying, so we ask for your patience as we continue to develop our skills to grow Split further.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We intend to release the full game with a fully functioning Level Editor and with a total of 20 levels.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“For our Early Access release, we have 16 unique, fully-functioning levels for you to enjoy, each employing a combination of our various mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Price will not change when we leave early access”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are hoping to get feedback from the community regarding any issues they have with the game and testing the Level Editor. Ultimately, we want players to be able to contribute their own creativity through new puzzles and levels to the Steam Workshop once the Level Editor is complete.”
