Ahhh , "Team Fortress 2" another game made by valve software that brought the most bad or good idea into valve games.

So first of all i started playing this game from an "Free2Play" Stage and later bought something because i liked the game , and i played it around 2 or 3 years and i live in Europe so just know it.

Should i play this game?

Well , first of all i might say few stuff :
  • Weapon skins / unusauals / hats / etc.. dosen't give you any power or anything - the game isn't pay2win.
  • You don't have to pay in order to play - this game is fully f2p .
  • This game can be very fun with friends that didn't played that game.
  • The game isn't "Dead" or anything and the servers are pretty good.
  • This game will give you that feeling that you need skill's - but you not.
  • Most of the players in the game don't really team-play core to core .

Now to the anwser well , if you do want to try something intersting and diffrent a bit feel free to play "Team Fortress 2"

Ahmm What about the player base?

The player base in "Team Fortress 2" is based on your region , but i'll just write some types of players base in the game that are world-wide :

  • The Children - this game is 12pg+ , but you know children always play games , but you can just ignore them.
  • "F2P's" - that what people call in the game anyone that is a "Noob" (new player) even if they aren't f2p.
  • The Basic - Those are people that have few hats and know how to play however they won't look for team work.
  • The Compative - Those are people that play compative part of the game most of the time and would get mad at there team if they are bad.
  • The Pro's - those are players that join random games and ruin the game for random people however you can just void them , and ones a lot of "Pros" were been cheaters with unusals to keep the thinking of a cheater low of them , but most cheaters banned! .
  • The people that always ask if someone speaks there lang - we all know those but they are living and annoying just void them.

Well anything bad about the game ?

Ahmm maybe? , i would say that i have few lag spikes (of fps) sometimes even if i have a great computer to run the game , about other people i know that few times people saying that the game lags (fps) but i'm not sure .

and the game can sometimes feel unbalanced.

Team Fortress 2 is a FPS game, developed by Valve, releasing in October 2007 on Steam, Xbox 360 and PC. You are probably going to see this review and think “Why are you reviewing TF2, everyone knows what it is about!” You will be right; however there is a small portion of people who have not ventured into TF2’s world, so this will be for you!

Gameplay for Team Fortress 2 is based around various different game modes, which you take part in online servers. You join a team and choose one of nine different classes to play as. Some of the game modes include the classic capture the flag, control points, king of the hill, and payload – which requires you to move a cart across the map with a bomb attached to it, into the enemies base. The 9 different classes all feel very different to each other, but ultimately will fit into one of three roles; offense, defence and support. Offensive characters are the ones built for dealing large sums of damage to your foes. The defensive ones, whilst these also deal damage, are much more equipped for doing this from entrenched positions, and the support roles add different features to the team with healing or other special abilities which act as a benefit for your team, or a hindrance to the opponents. The classes are all really simple to learn how to use, but can be pretty tricky in mastering the art of the class.

My favourite game mode in Team Fortress 2 would have to be Mann vs Machine. This is a six player co-op mode, where you have to defend your base from waves of AI controlled enemies. In between waves you are able to purchase upgrades for your character to use for the rest of the match. This game mode also offers a “Mann up” mode, which requires you to purchase a ticket, in order to take part in events on official servers, to be in for a chance to win cosmetic items after you finish the mode. Even if you stick to the free side of this mode, you will have a boat load of fun if you can find a team of players and get on voice chat together.

Graphically, since the game is running the Source engine, it looks gorgeous. The cartoony style of art on show gives the game a unique charm and feels which cannot be mimicked by any other game to date. Sound effects and sound tracks are all on point too.

TF2 has a training mode that will ease newer players into the game; this is especially handy for people who are particularly new to the FPS genre as well. This is a game which definitely gets better the better you are at it; and getting better at it only comes with practice. If you find a class you are interested in, and stick with it, you’ll soon get to a point where you are coming top of the scoreboard at the end of the game. Of course it helps to have a little experience with all of the classes because diversity is key in these multiplayer type games, but having a main is also a good idea too.

My play time on TF2 is dwarfed by many, I have only been playing for about seventeen hours so far, and I have only really started playing it properly in the last few weeks, having dropped in and out of it a few times in recent years. Mann vs Machine has really got me hooked on the game again. If you are a FPS junky, this is about as good as it gets for the genre and you will be able to get hundreds of hours of game play out of it before it even becomes tedious. Some people have thousands of hours in this game and I cannot blame them. On top of the huge replay ability factor, TF2 also has over 500 achievements, which should keep even the keenest of achievement hunters busy for a sufficient amount of time.

This game is so perfectly put together from a technical stand point; I have had no bugs, no crashes, and the graphics are perfectly optimized that even when playing on a 4k resolution with all of the settings ramped up to max, I still had a 200 frame rate.

To sum up, Team Fortress 2 is the perfect model of a free to play game done absolutely right. As you may have been able to notice, I have not once mentioned the market and microtransactions part of this game in my review, and this is because I found no reason to ever need to put my hand into my wallet to buy anything. Real hard-core fans will be itching to purchase a few cosmetic items, but if you are looking for a casual first person shooter experience, Team Fortress 2 will tick all of the boxes, and it comes out on top of most, if not all of the recent shooters out there to date. If you are one of the handful amounts of people who have not played TF2 for any substantial amount of time, I seriously urge you to give this game an evening of your time, and let it suck you in to its highly addictive nature.

Team Fortress 2 is a cartoony MMOFPS with a super-dose of character, and more pop references than you can handle in one sitting. Players play one of 9 mercenary classes working for one of two corporations (RED and BLU) duking it out tooth-and-nails over a variety of objectives ranging from briefcases, to giant bombs in mine carts. With a tons of weapons, achievements, hats and maps, this game has incredible longevity, and will keep you latched to your screen hoping for that one achievement, or that specific weapon(Golden Pan for me) you’re looking to get.

    Classes:

Spy(My Fav): Proficient knife fighter and mother lover, the spy can feign death/cloak and disguise himself into the enemy team.

Demoman: Trap-setting, one-eyed Scottish demoman with a knack for blowing things to pieces. Is surprisingly good with a claymore.

Engineer: Texan cowboy with a knack for turret building. Incredibly efficient at point defense, you’ll grow to love or hate his turrets.

Heavy: Chain gun wielding boxer, the medic’s best friend. With a massive health pool, this is both the damage soaking, and damage dealing class.

Medic: Mad doctor wielding a surgery saw to battle. Specializes in deploying ubercharges on teammates, making them invincible for a short time.

Pyro: Axe-wielding pyromaniac specialized in ambushes, and generally setting living things on fire.

Scout: Super-fast class that uses its speed to outmatch opponents and quickly capture points.

Sniper: Long-range shooter with a knack for throwing jars of suspicious yellow liquids.

Soldier: Frontline tough guy with a rocket launcher, and a lot of punch.

My grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him "If u ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, u have to stop immediately". Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died in lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me "Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through". I Agreed. At 17, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this game gave me cancer anyway.

Accidentally kill spy with 29 killstreak who is dominating me with a rocket jump. Only notice because of killfeed. Tab in air to make sure he stays dead. He does. Run out of rockets as a demoknight is charging at me. Panic. Mouse scrolls past shotgun and lands on disciplinary action. No time. Click. Somehow kill demoknight. Sigh of relief. Pick up ammo pack. Back in action. Find gibus engi trying to build a sentry. Laugh. Annihlate "nest". Spot incoming pyro/medic. Botch my aim. Pyros reflect nails me. Bullets flying everywhere. Dying. Run past friendly heavy because rocket jump will kill me. Turn corner. Fire rocket. Crit kill pyro/medic. No reaction. Find health. Spot sniper who doesn't see me. Quickly dispatch with shotgun. Ignore enemy scout with lime green hat dancing with my team mate. Find two more snipers. One misses, one body shots. Kill both with rockets. Hear demoknight scream. Panic. Don't see him. Shrug. Barrel through heavy and pyro. Doing okay. Spot spy killing team mate. Blow him up. Tab. Not dead. Where is spy? Find lime green hat scout again congaing by himself. Ignore. Spy nails me with ambassador. Dying. Run. Gibus engi has new sentry up. Trapped. Somehow kill spy with shotgun. Tab. Hes dead. Destroy gibus engi nest again. Have only a few hp left. Turn corner to head back for health pack. Get killed by force of nature. Its the lime green hat scout. He taunts with schadenfreude and spams lennys in chat. Should have killed lime green hat scout. Always kill lime green hat scouts. I sigh heavily.

    10/10 would sigh heavily again

I have played this game for an entire year; time for my account on it.

I have logged 2,407 hours at the time of writing this review.

The fact that this game is pushing a decade old, and is still the 3rd or 4th most played game on Steam should hint to you something; This game is good, and at the price of absolutely free, why the ♥♥♥♥ have you not downloaded it yet?

This game has a special place in my heart; there's not one game that has let me know people from all sorts of walks of life, and get to play with, or against them, or end up being Sandvich-sharing, congaing friends in the end; a game that can hold your interest for 2,407 total hours, and people's overall interest for 9 years, is obviously a game you need to try.

Now, to the core value of the game; this is easily the most balanced shooter out there; this game is "Pay2Pimp", otherwise known as pay for a crapton of virtual hats that give you no actual advantage in-game except making you look more suavy. Everything in this game can be earned by just playing the game, and there's nothing in this game that exclusively a P2P user can get over a F2P user that actually gives them an advantage in-game, it's truly F2P, and doesn't require you to buy stuff to get ahead in the game, unless you want to really get involved in TF2's dynamic trading.

Team Fortress 2 has more gamemodes than any shooter I have ever seen before; and I CHALLENGE you to find a game with more gamemodes and variety than TF2. Along with the core implemented gamemodes in TF2, there are a ton of mods, or other gamemodes made by the community if you get tired of Capture Points, Payload, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, Attack/Defend, Mannpower, Territory Control, Medieval Mode, PASS Time, Robot Destruction, Mann vs Machine, Player Destruction, Payload Race, Arena Mode, Competitive Modes, Highlander Modes, and Special Delivery, along with 86 offical maps to go along with these core modes, along with more maps from the community workshop being added into the game over time; you'll never have something you haven't done in TF2.

Now, off the topic of TF2 and it's overall core gameplay; people keep saying they don't want to try TF2, saying it's for little kiddies, or the hackers make this game ruined; VAC now detects LAMEbox Premium; the hack that was said to be "un-VAC-able" this game can please any demographic, to people who want a fun game to pick up once, and never put down, to people who just love to trade and upgrade the value of their inventories with the game's dynamic economy, or even the competitive demographic, as Valve is testing Matchmaking Beta for TF2.

This game is free; there's no risk to trying it. You have nothing to lose, and so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much to gain, after playing it for a little; I wish everyone could see the magic behind this game.

You don't get a real appreciation for the game until you play competitive medic. Not this Match Making nonsense, that full on ♥♥♥♥ on your chest bombed by the roamer and ♥♥♥♥♥ by a mid air rocket. You don't get a real appreciation for the game until you play competitive sniper. Not this pub ♥♥♥♥, that full on ambassador headshot accross the map only to be tickled in the stomach by the scout that your team didn't see so you cry yourself to sleep for being relied on and not dropping the med, that veitnam flashback ♥♥♥♥. You don't get a real appreciation for the game until you play competitive Demo. Not that sticky spamming tard on pubs, I'm talking about that guy that has to stick with the combo so that your 150 health anal explorer of a medic doesnt die. Yeah... that's the sort of ♥♥♥♥ im talking about.

Somebody once told me the world is gonna roll me
I ain't the sharpest tool in the shed
She was looking kind of dumb with her finger and her thumb
In the shape of an "L" on her forehead

Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb

So much to do, so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets?
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow

    [Chorus:]
Hey, now, you're an All Star, get your game on, go play
Hey, now, you're a Rock Star, get the show on, get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold

It's a cool place and they say it gets colder
You're bundled up now wait 'til you get older
But the meteor men beg to differ
Judging by the hole in the satellite picture

The ice we skate is getting pretty thin
The water's getting warm so you might as well swim
My world's on fire. How about yours?
That's the way I like it and I'll never get bored.

    [Chorus 2x]

Somebody once asked could I spare some change for gas
I need to get myself away from this place
I said yep, what a concept
I could use a little fuel myself
And we could all use a little change

Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Didn't make sense not to live for fun
Your brain gets smart but your head gets dumb

So much to do so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow.

Team Fortress 2 is a fun game. Well, fun GAME. Not a fun hat simulator.

Team Fortress 2 is a team-based first person shooter developed by Valve. It has nine classes, all with their own weapons, stats and all. The Scout runs very fast, can double jump, and captures control points and payload carts twice as fast as other classes. The Soldier is slow, but has a rocket launcher (which you can rocket jump with). The Pyro, well, hence the name, is a pyromaniac, who burns his opponents with a flamethrower. He is also immune to afterburn damage caused by other Pyros. The Demoman is a drunk Scotsman with a passion for blowing things up. The Heavy is slow, but he makes up for it with his minigun and high health. The Engineer can build sentries, dispensers, and teleporters. The Medic... An obvious one, right? He heals his team. He also heals his own health over time, and can use Ubercharge to make both him and the teammate he's healing invulnerable for a short period of time. The Sniper can use his sniper rifle to take out faraway opponents. He can also get headshots, which do extra damage. The Spy can turn invisible, sap and destroy the Engineer's buildings, disguise as enemy teammates, and instant kill people by stabbing them in the back.

There's several different gamemodes, including payload (where one team attempts to push a bomb to the other team's base, there's another less common variant where both teams have the payload), capture the flag (both teams have a briefcase in their base, the first team to capture the enemy briefcase a certain number of times wins), control points (one team attempts to capture all control points and the other defends them, there is another variant where both teams have to capture and defend at the same time), arena (respawns disabled and the team still standing wins), and many more, including the community-made gamemodes like Prop Hunt (If any of you have played GMod you will recognize this), Freak Fortress 2, and Balloon Race, just to name a few.

With the memorable classes, diverse gameplay, and unique weapons... (Well, most of the time. I'm looking at you, melee reskins.) "What's not to like?" as Gabe Newell said.

Well, there's a lot not to like.

When I first got into the game back in 2009, the rage wasn't as huge about hats. But I look nowadays and that's all people care about. That's also probably why Valve seems to get away with all these CSGO skins, since people only care about looking flashy. PAYDAY 2's developer, Overkill, attempted a similar system, but failed to do so, as they gained extreme backlash from the community, and they still do to this day. I haven't seen that backlash happen yet in TF2's community, and if it has happened, I missed it because I quit about 6 months ago.

In PAYDAY 2, people didn't really care as much about looking flashy or cool. They weren't ones to put up with the bull ♥♥♥♥. Granted, you can customize and use different masks to your leisure, but it isn't the main premise of the game. And it SHOULDN'T be for TF2... Except, that it is.

An F2P with only a gibus and is actually good and skilled at the game VS a P2P player who has no skill but has a scout covered in unusual cosmetics painted lime green. Who gets more hate? The skilled F2P or the unskilled P2P? The skilled F2P, just because he's got a gibus. The gibus is a nooby hat sure, but do we really have to determine one's skill off of it? What if I like the gibus and want to wear it? I'm decent at the game when it comes down to skill, yet I'm judged for wearing a hat that I think is cool, and now I'm apparently unskilled? ...Then again, this is the internet. And on the internet you either like what's "cool" or you're a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who should kill himself.

Maybe I'd be a little more lenient about the skins if it weren't for the blatantly obvious money-making scheme. First you have to spend money on a ticket to even start finding skins or crates. You then use the ticket, and you unlock contracts to complete. So what do you get for completing them? Either a skin that's almost always Civilian Grade (the worst tier you can get for a skin), or a crate which you have to unlock with a key, which costs $2.49. Spending $2.49 for just a small chance to make your find worthwhile, not even mentioning the $6 you used to buy the ticket (That's what I had to spend in Gun Mettle.)

Another thing I've noticed is how the most cancerous skins, hats, and unusuals end up costing the most amount of money, metal, buds, bills, whatever the ♥♥♥♥ currency in TF2 is anymore. Most of the unusual effects aren't even that good anyways. The worst paints (pink paint and lime green paint) also cost the most, last I checked each costed 2 keys. I'm not even kidding, my eyes may have actually been hurting IRL the first time I saw a limegreen/pink scout ingame. Call me some prick with terrible eyes, but no other paint has done that.

Valve has also been noticeably lazy the last several updates. The majority of content nowadays is made by people on workshop. Valve gets money for snagging an item off workshop and slapping it onto TF2. I'm pretty sure the people who made the hats do get a bit of money, but think about who's doing more of the work here.

And, instead of weapon originality, they're making reskins of weapons. Excluding Australiums, Festives, and Botkillers, there's a total of 2 Scout reskins, no Soldier reskins which is surprising (the Original functions slightly differently from the default Rocket Launcher), 4 Pyro reskins, 4 Demoman reskins, 5 Heavy reskins, 1 Engineer reskin, again no Medic reskins, 4 Sniper reskins, and 8 Spy reskins. The Scout and Engineer both share 2 reskins for Pistol, there's 10 ALL CLASS MELEE RESKINS. And nowadays, there's ENTIRE UPDATES revolved around skins. And I get it, coming up with unique weapons can be hard. But I'm hardly seeing any attempts to at least TRY. Instead we just get skins... You guys realize that someone could've gone and bought some $10 game with the $11 they used on keys and tickets for the campaign, right?

The community is a bunch of ♥♥♥ wipes, as I mentioned earlier. Your skill is determined by a hat. A lot of people are elitist tryhards. You'd think this would be better in TF2's 6-player co-op gamemode, Mann VS Machine. Nope. If anything it's worse.

Are you a spy, sniper, or pyro? Yes? *KICKED*
Are you using bonk atomic punch instead of mad milk? Bat instead of Sandman/Fan O War? Yes? *KICKED*
Is this your first tour? Yes? *KICKED*
Need to know what upgrades to get? How the hell do you not know already, you dumbass noob? *KICKED*

I'm not one of those nuts who are like "♥♥♥♥ THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE FUN OF F2PS, F2PS AND NOOBS ARE LIFE" and all that. I mean, I used to mock them myself back in the day. But looking back, isn't it kind of stupid?

Trading could probably be a whole other review on its own. It's awful in my opinion. Some of its problems have already been discussed above.

People complain about Overkill being greedy, but Overkill's got nothing on Valve. What happened, Gabe?

Gameplay: 5/10 (Well, what's left of it, at least)
    Characters: 10/10
Soundtrack: 6/10 (There isn't really much of a soundtrack in the first place)
    Community: 0/10

Final Score: 5.2/10 (It's a game, not a dressup sim)

    - Played it with hats, cosmetic, and killstreak weapon. Did really good, dominating half of the ennemy team, everyone called me skilled and tried to join my team.

    - Played it on a secondary account, without any items, did the same thing, got kicked for hacking in less than 2 minute.

    10/10 would do it again

I still don't know how to rocket jump, but as long as you can use hats there, it doesn't even matter anyway.

Столько хороших воспаминаний связанных с этой игрой, но Габен всё засрал своими грёбаными шапками, да ищо и скины добавил.
