Its really good and yes it is a waiting game but thats what makes it good as you can play other games whilst playing that one and the graphics are not hard n the computer so it wont take up much memory or cpg/gpu usage. Personally I would recomend playing this game and play it with friends and make a guild and one day be the highest player!

No idea how this has positive reviews on steam.

Pros:
+Free
+Good time sink

Cons:
-Pay to lose(if u start a server a week after it launches no point, god can only imagine how much u'd have to drop to be competitive)
-When new servers start friends from old servers flood in dropping money and making the best guilds day 1 so unless u have around 10 friends all ready to drop $50 bucks forget competing for first.
-Paywall hits you after a few hours you run out of mushrooms(premium currency) and out of quest stamina, but for 5 bucks you can keep going btw the stamina doesn't even refill by time, I'm guessing it refills once daily but didn't play long enough to find out

Much better free games out there, stat system is a complete mess leading to some really lopsided battles, when you see that guy with 10 on each stat and yours are 50+ avoid that fight you ain't gonna win..... Major P2W game, have a credit card ready after installing. 0/10 due to paywalls, I don't do paywalls.

Funny quests that I could never hope to acheive in the real world, hoping to beat someone else's fortress with your wizard, but best of all, I can ride a griffon!

This is the idle, afk , im working, but want to play D&D, players game. Choose from 3 classes and 8 races to create your adventurer. Also, you can make your character look goofy or heroic, ( depending on ur taste) with a little custimzation. Its just a bust picture really. Anyway, with comic cartooning, off you go to the tavern to pick up quests to gain loot, exp and gold! WIth true RPG fashion, use thus things to upgrade your adventurer. Its real time with the quest timing, so sit back and relax! Log in later and pick up your game and continue! There is also pets and mounts that help you out with how long the quest takes and such. Then you can also earn the rights to go to the epic dungeons once you gain enough honor and exp. The referances are funny and I suggest reading the quests and labels on weapons for a good chuckle. The quest could be that your returning bottles from the rotten lands for some extra cash....Other than the mount and pets and tavern, there is also Shakes the weapon and armor shop guy and Fidget the magic shop guy that help gear you out. When quests and dungeons seem not your thing, you can also make some cash being the the castle guard. Hay, someone has to do it! Guilds and pvp are available for those that dig the social thing. A good game all round, try it out !

I'm going to edit this review and give the guys from the studio a bashing well deserved in hope they will improve the game and not only care to grab as much cash as they possibly can from the players.

First of all Shakes and Fidget is like having sex with your wife after 40 years of marriage. You don't enjoy it as much but you are kind of used to it , and like any sex with a woman it's never free , it will always cost you. The fast progres in the begening is just an illusion of how you don't need to spend money on this game , while the late game will show you that you will have to spend way more on S&F then on a real 50-60 Euroes game. And I mean way more...

I will get into statistics

I am currently level 221 and in top 500 players on my server making me 0.01% of the World 6 pupulation and I haven't spent nearly the ammount of $$ comparing to the people that overrank me and under-rank me now. In W6 there are almost 400k players total and 300k (3/4 of the server) are players from level 1 lvl 11 , and you can do that in 1 or two days I think (I can't remember how fast it was when I started but I was thrilled with the game because I saw great potential). So 3/4 of the server are bottom players who don't want to play the game. As for the top players , I've seen a lot of people who stopped playing the game and quitted different guilds or got kicked from inactivity after level 130 , 140 , 150 ... 170 , because it was too boring and the things that were interesting in the begening , well they were not so much fun later on , and the more you level up the slower it gets later on , exponentialy , even though there is no limit of the level...

My guild was 6th by strength and my GM was LVL 276 making him top 20 player. He needed 3 days of play and 30 mushrooms to burn along with a dungeon raid (which at first gives you a whole new level or two levels by itself) just to gain one level , and in this game one level is actually nothing. And if you are really willing to play 10 mushrooms a day every day and it doesn't bore you to death , then why not spend 100$ on the largest package and slowly click away untill you need some more , just a few people do that , and those are the elite players in W6. For me even when there are epic weekends after this time of play I get bored having to expend my quest charge and 10 mushrooms a day and then you get all sorts of bonuses and I was happy and excited to do that for some time.

So you do the math how much mushrooms you need and you basically need then for everything. An item you might want to buy , spend 1 mushroom or 10 or 15 for an epic , you ran out of potion , rotate 10 times the potion shop and you will probably get potions you need including ethernal life potion. You leveled up a couple of times and you need new weapons and items , well rotate the weapon shop more and sometimes more then 10 times to get what you want and guess what , every rotation costs 1 mushroom. You are stuck and can't defeat dungeon bosses which gives you by far the most experience , well then you have ethernal life elixir and it costs 15 mushrooms. When it comes to that you can raid a dungeon every 1 hour , or skip the timer and spend a mushroom , so 10 mushrooms will cover your whole raid day and power-leveling , where you can level 10 times or more if you are smart in one or two days even when you are higher level, so you should definitely pay up , or have a a lot of patience. To play the weekends where you have bonuses like more gold , exp , epics , and mushrooms (while you won't get more then you have spent), you also need to burn 10 mushrooms for extended play. You can do the same on regular days too , but it's quite boring. And how much mushrooms you earn per day , usually 1 maybe 2 , even if you play small 3:30 minute quests you can end up with 1 mushroom a day with armor bonus of 50% better mushroom find. This game is mostly about dice , persistance and wallet.

There are so many people in this game who just come into the game , spend money and then they leave and so few people who really stick to the end , so I can freely say it's made as a pure cash grab that is fun (apparently for 25% of the server population) but after some time it becomes more like a habbit and routine whith ocassional good levelings and progression.

The way the game developres are uninterested to hear new ideas how to make the game better and more even for everyone and there are so many things they can change , implement and improve (for example make a guild banks so you deposit musrhooms which you can't take back but you receive weekly interest , that way the difference between guys who spend a lot of money and the ones who spend little would be greatly lessened) and how they treat you like a semi-intelligent being also amazes me , where they tell you a story like you have a mind of a chineze gold farmer just that you grind and pay money here at the same time , is really amazing. The main defense of the developers is that you can get the the highest ranks without spending money by patience and that vritue is a patience of god of time Chronos , which means play the game utterly slow for many years and , yeap you are there , and how many people do that ? Well In top 100 players atm all of them have griffin mounts and guess what ? They cost 25 mushrooms ... I have shared my experience regarding the game , weather it worths playing to you or not is solely your decision and your preference.

I've been playing this game for a long time now (outside steam).
I really want to give this game a positive review, because it's pretty funny and they update it very often introducing new and exciting stuff but...

...it's a browser game, so I can't. Since it's a browser game it's clearly pay to win (gameforge type of game, where you're allowed to buy diamonds (shrooms in this case) which will let you do three times more missions, buy better mounts, letting you do the missions faster, reset your dungeon timers, boost your guild stats and so on, and so on). I hate pay to win. My friends hates pay to win. My mother hates pay to win. My dog hates pay to win. You should hate pay to win aswell.

Don't do browser games, kids.

Finally, the "Loading Screen Simulation" genre has come to Steam! This game actually simulates the real wait time experience of waiting on long loading screens, but without the hassle and annoyance of having to play some game inbetween! For all of you who have upgraded to the topnotch computer technology of today, and simply miss the bygone days of waiting on a loading screen so long you can get up, take a bathroom break, fix a supper, and take the garbage out all long before the loading screen has finished, than this is the game for you! When you first start out your loading screen simulations only take a minute or two, but don't worry, with true dedication you can work your way up to six minute, nine minute, twelve minute waits . . . and beyond!

Now the developers know that too much of a good thing must be curbed, so you are limited to only waiting 100 minutes each real-time day. But never fear, you can hand them wads of real world money so that you can continue to enjoy hours and hours of waiting well beyond that first 100 minutes. Add to that the possibility of a pay-to-win scheme for some character that you level up by waiting, and then pay money to enhance so that you can be the Load Screen Arena champion. Get your name on the leaderboards and prove to the world that you can wait on load screens like a true champion and pay real world money to squash all those fools under you who are too niave to pay their hard earned money to be better than you!

Ok, in all seriousness, there just isn't enough to do in this title to really make it a game. You set out on "quests" which you get to pick one of three from the inn. Wait for the designated time on a screen still until there is a small "battle" (back-and-forth lowering of hitpoints between you and a monster that you do not get to affect in any way as it is determined by your character's current stats) and you receive the reward you picked when you picked the quest up. you get to make minimal decisions of what stats to increase and equipment to upgrade, which for the most part, is just pick the next piece of equipment offered that has better stats than your current equipment. There is almost no strategy in making decisions, and if you really want to "prove" to others that you are better, than you can pay money to enhance your stats faster so that you win in the arena matches which are also static back-and-forth, hitpoint lowering, attacks that you can not influence other than paying money to increase your characters static stats befor the battle.

I put my time into this game as most reviews said the negative reviewers hadn't played far enough into the game to really enjoy it. It's not a terrible game, and it is free to try out, but as you can only play one Steam game on your account at a time, you do not have the option of just minimizing this game and playing something more entertaining while you wait to make your two choices befor having to wait again. There are other games to put hours into that you will be more engaged with and that have more choices and strategy, so I would not recommend wasting those hours on this title. The higher you get in this game, the more options you unlock (dungeons, fortress building, pets) but it is more of the same substanceless fluff as the earlier game stuff, so it is hardly worth the hundreds of hours required to put in just to get there. This title might work on Facebook, or some such forum where you are fiddling with a few options befor reading through posts and blogs and the like, but not really great for locking up your Steam account where you can't enjoy any other games while you wait on this one.

Cons:
Feels like a facebook game. You pick quests and wait for a timer to go down basically.
Microtransactions to speed things up.

Pros:
Nice artwork
Fun writing
Quirky humor

Not sure why this is on Steam? Seems like a really perfect Facebook game. I don't feel like I can give it a positive review because of this.
