GoNNER is a tough as hell procedurally-generated 2D platformer with roguelike elements, following the largely misunderstood and altruistic Ikk on a journey to cheer up his only friend in this world - a giant landbound whale named Sally - by searching for just the right trinket in the deep and dark places nearby.

IGF WINNER?!?!!

Hey, I'm Ditto. I made a game called GoNNER together with my two friends Martin and Joar. GoNNER won an Independent Games Festival award in Audio Design a few weeks ago.

Like, real talk, this is really fucking weird. The IGF means so incredibly much to us, so winning one doesn't feel real. It's an incredible honor. Thank you.

Me, Martin and Joar tried to have as much fun as we could while making a game together. The whole project actually started when Martin asked me if this strange little platformer I was working on needed sounds. He figured he wouldn't have to make footstep sounds because of the way the game looked, Martin hates making footstep sounds. Joar and I once jammed and made 10 songs each in an hour, 3 of those are actually in the game today. Martin would sometimes send me a folder of literally hundreds of sound effects and then tell me "do something fun with these!". Our process was always about surprising and challenging each other creatively while having as much fun as possible. If we ever had a tough decision to make, the option that made us smile would be the one we chose. It makes me really happy to see that the fun we had while making it shines through in the game!

We're honestly still trying to process the whole IGF thing. Wow!

But it's not over! In fact, nothing is ever over, after all, we're living in a looped reality where nothing really disappears, it just changes. GoNNER is changing too! Slightly! We're working hard on a nice update that is coming out .. SOON!! I'm getting a lot of complaints that the game is too easy, so we're adding a bunch of new enemies that will make the game even harder for hardcore players. I'm not even a little sorry. <3

Oh and hey, while I've still got your attention. GoNNER is coming out on Nintendo Switch. Yep, really! You'll be able to bring GoNNER with you on your Switch while riding a train, going to hipster parties or whatever it is people do outside their homes. Coming to the Nintendo eShop this summer!!

GoNNER is on sale!!

They say it couldn’t be done, that we’d never have enough titles in our library to offer a publisher-wide discount for every game we’ve published so far. Well, we proved you wrong, Mom. We even made an infomercial that is totally professional and definitely not quickly put together.

We’ve got a discount for every single Raw Fury published title on PC and mobile, and not only that but they are our biggest discounts to date!

More specifically, the award winning GoNNER is 66% off this week on PC!

We're not done with GoNNER by the way! We're hard at work on the Nintendo Switch version and the new content that's in the works for that will come to all you PC players as well! More news on that later this year.

“GoNNER is this year’s Downwell – a neat, short-form action game that has found the perfect visual style to communicate its near-misses and big hits.”

“I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy nearly every moment of it.”

About This Game

GoNNER is a tough as hell score-based procedurally-generated platformer with roguelike elements. GoNNER is also a story about friendship between Ikk, Death, and a space whale named Sally.

You will die. A lot. This is by design, but it's not made to feel unfair. You'll eventually get the hang of GoNNER, so don't lose your head. But even if you do it's okay cause we have a lot of replacement heads you can use.

- DAILY CHALLENGES! Only playable once a day. Levels are randomly generated but in this mode everybody plays the same world and use an identical loadout. Everything resets at midnight (Swedish time, UTC+1). Can you crush your leaderboard foes?

- PROCEDURALLY GENERATED! Every time you play the game the levels will be different and present unique challenges and opportunities.

- UNLOCKS! You'll be able to choose from a variety of passive and active abilities at the beginning of each run so be sure to experiment with all of them and find the play style that best suits you.

- SECRETS! Secret areas exist in the world of GoNNER, and these areas will get you different items that you can then always use from the beginning of each run. We're not going to tell you how you get to these areas or what the criteria is for even finding them because secrets, duh.

- LEADERBOARDS! Kill creatures, get combos, score points, and brag to your friends how much better you are than them.

- MUSIC! It's really freaking good.

Good luck.
