FIGHT THE PAST TO SAVE THE FUTURE. STOP THE SINGULARITY.

Learn the truth behind a massive cover-up of the catastrophic SINGULARITY, an event that fractured time and threatens the world as we know it. Armed with powerful, advanced weaponry and the experimental Time Manipulation Device, fight enemies from the past, the present, and abominations caught somewhere in between.

Key Features:

TIME IS YOUR WEAPON
  • Use the TMD – Time Manipulation Device – to change the age of objects and enemies and bend time to your will.
  • Age enemies to dust in seconds, manipulate objects outside the laws of gravity, and degrade objects to a withered state or renew them to their pristine form.
  • Unlock upgrades to harness the TMD’s full power and expand your full arsenal of advanced weaponry.
EPIC SCI-FI ACTION THRILLER
  • Heart-pounding, first person combat action that immerses you in a world where the past and present collide.
  • Travel seamlessly between two eras – 1950s Russia and modern day – each rendered with stunning lighting, physics, and effects using the Unreal 3 Engine.
UNRAVEL THE CONSPIRACY
  • Traverse the blur between the past and future in order to stop the mysterious SINGULARITY that threatens the world.

Good game. I advise making liberal use of your special powers to optimize the experience. It is pretty easy to plow throw large chunks of it like a standard shooter with upgradable gear. Using the abilities you accrue will differentiate the experience. Perhaps playing hard mode first run would encourage more TMD.

I played it intently and enjoyed it over the span of a few days. It kept my interest solidly though likely you have played similar games. Singularity has an excellent element, leaving it to you most of the time to enjoy. The preset experience requirements of, as we say, TM, feel limited. This game is on an enjoyable mission to the pleasantly cool ending.

Competent visuals, sometimes very good indeed, in particular the variety of time manipulating devices. Good sound, I experienced a handful of minor audio glitches. Visual glitch only if I adjusted a particular setting in registry. It is well documented via search though I did endure a small amount of trial and error.

The game is a few years old. Good gamepad support. Requires editing registry to change many settings resulting in improvement or a potential crash on run condition, again all well documented. Oob it ran like it should on Windows 10 though I did need to adjust settings further.

It works well enough @ 21:9 though requires editing windows registry to set correct resolution. Its not perfect but I did not feel the need to utilize flawless widescreen, perhaps benefitting from a recent to date of purchase patch. Elements are not ideal but like many titles the core is solid and I was not distracted.

Yeah, this is a good game.

Neat story, great shooter mechanics, good graphics .. I don't think the story is too bizarre.. First part of the game is the weakest part IMHO. Graphics, as I said, are nice.

Another game that is having check points????!!!! I don't get this... Are today programmers not able to make a good code
where you can save the progress whenever you want?... It looks it is like that unfortunately!
Cannot recommend this game therefore...

You cannot save, but got the message: All unsaved progress will be lost. Are you sure you want to quit...
How stupid is that...?

I gave it another try, 'cos it actually isn't a bad game...
Then next next issues:
I got captured... all my weapons and upgrades were gone...
I got only pistol afterwards according to game script... got that updated (more damage, bigger clip)...
However, I need 10 shots to kill this mutated enemy and there were 5 send at once to make my life heavy... i don't have enough ammo for them even after weapon upgrade...

But what is helping is to uninstall then game, not to lose more nerves on game logic...
As said, not a bad game, but also nothing for me as it looks...

A fun hidden gem. It has its faults: Bland characters, only decent storytelling, kind of a weird type of ending, and just plain no desirable personality within the game itself; but it is a pretty alright story and a fun game, and you become a pretty strong death machine toward the end with all the weapons and upgrades. Decent 9 to 11 hour experience with v cool gameplay mechanics. The worst thing for me was the voices, all the sound effects overpowered them most of the time and you couldn't hear them, but anyways, like i said, it was pretty fun.

The story is crazy, its amazing how it went out. It has also some plot twist, just remember when you play it, remember your journey. You'll see some crazy stuff. Totally recommend buying this.

Singularity is a Sci-Fi FPS Puzzle/ time manipulation game. I recomend that you dont get it unless you get it cheaper than 20.00, I'd get it at games deal instead cause its not worth the price it is on steam.

cons
-not enough weapons (one pistol, one shotgun, one sniper, ect.)
-Costs too much

Pros
-runs smooth
-great voce over acting
-Good Graphics

Worth that price: Totally

Singularity is a game that can be summed up in one word: Adequate.

Some quick pros and cons before I go in-depth:
+ No regenerating health. Use medkits to heal
+ Terrific pacing
+ Doesn't overstay its welcome
- Can only carry two weapons at a time
- A lot of corridors, few open spaces
- Really easy

Everything else can simply be described as adequate. The story is decent, there are audio logs and notes that you can observe if you're into it, otherwise they can be passsed. Minimal cutscenes, story is mostly delivered via gameplay. However, the environmental storytelling doesn't really make a lot of sense. You'll see some messages written on the wall that leave you wondering things like "Why would a person write that?" The pacing is great, at least. The ebb and flow of tension is right on. Which is something that a lot of games like this underestimate the importance of and subsequently flub. But Singularity nails pacing.

The shooting is fine. There's an alright variety of weapons. Pistol, machine gun, shotty, sniper rifle, plus some more heavy artillery. But you can only carry two weapons at a time. Which is not a mechanic I'm fond of. I know it's unrealistic that a person could carry a dozen weapons on their person, but this isn't a military simulation kind of shooter. Very much an arcade kind of shooter. Let us carry more guns please. That being said, there is a particular weapon that is seriously overpowered and makes the rest of the game a cakewalk. Not that it was ever particularly difficult to begin with. So once you pick up that gun, you really don't even need a second one.

There's an upgrade system for both yourself and your weapons, which is adequate. A simple Damage+ and Reload Speed+ kind of upgrade system. Health+ and Stamina+ for your character, etc. I found myself purchasing a lot of upgrades simply because I had nothing else to spend the currency on. A lot of the upgrades just make an already easy game easier.

Enemy variety is fine. All the humans are... well, humans. All the mutants are mostly interesting. Not always the most imaginative designs, but at least there are some diverse attack patterns to deal with. Unfortunately, the game tends to only throw one kind of enemy hoard at you at once.

This game's unique mechanic is your ability to control the time of certain objects. And it's alright. You can move certain objects backward and forward through time, like taking a decayed, broken bridge and restoring it to new so that you can continue. And some interesting puzzles and gameplay are borne of this interesting mechanic. Unfortunately, there's only a couple interesting puzzles the devs came up with and they repeat them pretty frequently. So, it's a really fun gimmick the first time, and then a bit ho-hum for the rest of the game.

It's a very linear game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes linear is alright. I can appreciate a tight, focused narrative/gameplay experience, which this for the most part is. And there is slight (very slight) exploration. The most typical kind of exploration you'll be doing is entering a room with two exits. One exit is the way forward, and the other exit turns out to be a closet with resources in it that you spend two seconds in before moving on to the other exit. My major gripe is that there's a lot of surprise locking doors that prevent you from backtracking to the previous room. Very frequently, you'll get locked out of a section of the map before you expected to. The F key will illuminate some footsteps showing you the correct way to go, so often I'd light up the correct way, and then go the opposite way so that I know I'm going down some brief explorative path before I continue. That all being said, linear games are fine, but this one might have been slightly too linear.

Graphics and sound are, you guessed it: adequate. The game looks fine. It's detailed and interesting to look at. The graphics aren't mindblowing, they're just as good as they need to be. Not distractingly pretty or distractingly ugly. Just right. Audio, same story. Voice acting is fine. A bit generic. I hope you like token Russian accents. Monster noises are believable. Good ambience. The gun sounds are a bit anemic, however. I really wish the weapon sound design was stronger, because it really did detract from the experience a bit. But, y'know, it's not bad. It's just... adequate.

All in all, I enjoyed my time with the game. It's good for about 7-8 hours, which is just right for this game. It doesn't feel padded or drawn out, nor does it feel rushed. It lasts exactly as long as it needs to, and it never lets itself get stale. I played it in two sittings. The second sitting was the majority of the game, and in the middle of that, I took a break to eat lunch. And all throughout that lunch, I kept thinking to myself, "I really want to finish eating so I can keep playing." Not a lot of shooters give me that experience. It's a combination of good pacing, good story, and not-exhausting gameplay that really makes that happen.

Nothing is absolutely spectacular about this game, but nothing is boring, dull, or just plain bad, either. It's not earthshattering by any means, but I don't think anybody making the game expected it to be. They set out to make just a pretty good shooter, and that's exactly what they've done. So, as long as your expectations are in the right place, you'll probably have a good time.

Don't trust the girl暗示了什么?
