What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is my best shot at what I think would be a funny entertaining game. It’s reached a stage now where it’s starting to feel rounded and complete although there are still areas that can be improved.

Early access will hopefully provide me with some useful feedback and help me to clarify where to take it and what to focus on for that final push towards the finished release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“3-6 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature more detailed dialogue, more side-quests, more depth and detail and more opportunities to explore new areas. I may also extend the main quest in places.

Here's a list of other areas that I would like to improve and develop:

  • Improvements to boss mechanics, AI and and new graphics
  • More varied and distinctive ammo behaviour e.g. AOE, DOT
  • Controller support
  • General polish

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This is a complete game, playable end-to-end. Although more content is planned you can play this game following the main story from start to finish exploring all 14 major levels and many other smaller side levels.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'd really value and appreciate any honest constructive feedback you may have. I also haven't found a name for the main character or the company where he's starting his new job so any suggestions would be very welcome.”

"Beat your new zombie collegues with paperballs"

Super hilarious roguelike isometric action RPG.
Imagine it's your first day in a company. You walk around and suddenly some of your collegues turn into zombies. In the beginning your only weapon are paperballs. Coffee makes you going faster and herbal tea reduces your stress level. You get more stress if you are hit by zombies. And waterspenders are your savepoints. Hilarious: speak to your "normal" collegues and you will see how calm they are. They are so deep into work that they don't even freakout in a zombicalypse. Additional you earn each minutes 10 USD salary. Use it on vendor machines to buy grenades and powerups. Climb up the career ladder, earn more salary, finish some side quests and you will beat this game sometime. I also liked the soundtrack very much.

A fun game to waste some time with, while it's not particularly deep or innovative, killing zombies is always one of my favorite past times.

The game has a few issues, and would probably be far better with some working controller support. The K & M are ok for the time being though.

The humor is kind of hit or miss, but ultimately the game is cheap and relatively fun to play. Will be nice to see what new features or improvements the developer makes once he's able to get back to improving the game..

Controls don't make sense. Why am I fumbling to press 2 while backing away from zombies instead of just using left mouse?

I instantly fell in love with this game - Zelda set in an office with Zombies.

The dialogue is hilarious and the company where the story is set reminds me of my last job on a Monday morning.
Even in Early Access there appears to be a great deal of content. The levels are large and there are plenty of items and side-quests.

One thing that would make this game better is controller support but coming from an MMO background I don't mind using WASD and using the mouse to click on icons.

Good job

Edited: New controls make this game more playable. In early acces is on the right way.
PD: A map will be great, maybe more slots in the quickbar too.

Is a good game, but unplayable with these controls. Change that please.

Loving the retro feel of this game and the humour/sarcasm is fantastic. The tutorial / play instructions are scattered throughout the first level so you don't know what you're doing all at once but I kinda like the challenge. Looking forward to seeing how this game develops!

+Zombies in an office theme
+Humorous dialogue
+Creative (Stress level is HP, save point is water dispenser)

-Gameplay mechanics are very basic and repetitive
-Story is one-dimensional and unengaging
-Needs better sounds

It’s a great start for a small and inexperienced Indie team of 1 or 3. The base gameplay is too outdated and could use a lot of added features. Not even adding more to the story or more quests, etc. will make this game more fun; it is bland and too simple. Does a great job capturing the theme of Zombies in an Office workplace.
This is not the kind of game I’d play in my free time, but it’s a great example game to put in one’s game design portfolio.

Fun game so far, intersting mix of RPG and action. It has huge potential and the developer is very receptive to feedback.

The new controls make the game much more playable, and it's fun to navigate around the office, pushing chairs in the way of zombies, setting up barricades and mines etc. The dialogue is hilarious. In many RPG's going through dialogue can be a chore, but here it's great and makes me want to initiate conversation with all the NPCs.

I'm currently not a fan of the way zombies spawn, and there are a few little niggles like collisions that aren't perfect.

I would highly recommend downloading this game and leaving detailed feedback to the developer, as the gameplay gets much more refined with each update.

The gameplay is really fun with relaxing music, and the control is fixed already, so it's worthy to its price anyway tho !

Its early access for sure.

The concept is ok for a lil bit of coffeebreak-gaming. The controls are awfull. Pad is not even halfly supported, yet (basic-buttons are ok, but no quickmenueitemfire, d-pad doesnt work, other keys seem to be effectless).
Zombies respawn suddenly. At least items respawn, too (at least if u reload from savepoint cant tell since I "stressed out" permanently :P).
The game became boring and with this controls even bugging after a few minutes.

Maybe you like it as an not so usual version, if you are into this kind of games. I dont. Sorry.

Pretty good game!

I was struggling at the start to find ammo and health but midway through the basement I was well stocked with DVDs and Mineral Water. Favourite weapon is the mine. Although I just picked up some paperclips which are quite handy. Think that the spawning can be a bit annoying sometimes if you have low health and you duck round a corner or behind an obstacle only a for a zombie to spawn in front of you.

There's an awesome boss battle when you make it to the carpark... thats about as far as I've got so far.. I hope there is more suprises in store :)

Support for a gamepad would be cool.

Dec 24th: Controls are improved over the previous iteration. Mouse aiming and moving with the keyboard is far easier.

  • Very easy to get trapped by zombies
  • Funny dialogue with coworkers
  • Ability to block zombies with office furniture
  • Clothing makes the man - parody clothes with bonuses
  • Barricades are a nice touch for damage + blocking
  • Office styled consumables - coffee, herbal tea, CDs, paper balls
  • Good base tutorial
  • Recycling machine with hidden recipes

  • Spawning is hard to get used to, clear a hallway and seconds later, zombies spawn there
  • Lack of explanation of stats - popularity does what?
  • Mines damage the player - probably obvious but it was a hard lesson at first
  • Setting mines and barricades are set in your pointed direction, not under your mouse. Makes for odd placement and handling at first go.
  • Graphic options are limited

Edit: Stats have been posted in the forum.

Changed my mind
Interesting concept. Horrible execution.
Very clunky targeting, no excuse why it should be this ♥♥♥♥♥.
Holding a special key to toggle your aim one direction while moving in another, but all of your visual cues are wrong.

Other games do zombie crap better.

The developers are listening to feedback. And they're decidedly nice about it. My main issue was with the controls and lack of visual cues. They modified the controls and it's significantly more familiar, enabling one to step into the roll of office peon with minimal fuss.
The item system hints at fun future possibilities for office warfare.
The quests tasks are relatively straightforward. They're even working on some laidback humour.

The difference between the first play and the second play are night and day, and I am rather enamored with the game now.
