Great, great game! If this looks fun to you please ignore the metacritic score & do yourself a favour & pick up this game. Linux support would be a plus.

Eufloria is a very unique strategy game. The premise of the game is simple. Raise your army, attack the enemy, and conquer other large grey circles called asteroids. The controls are easy to learn, and the feel of the game is soft and soothing. The trees [which you get by sacrificing 10 of your troops titled seedlings ] are neat and the entire nature based style is neat.

The game does start to get difficult after level 10. That's when you remember that this is a strategy game and it's not all feel good and relaxation. I admit the 10+ levels were somewhat agitating to me. One level [level 12 titled One Hundred] was a major pain. Numerous times I had to restart because I didn't move in the right direction the moment the game began. A MUST know about this game is that it doesn't have a save feature, so if you mess up once you might as well push through or start over.

Though the game can be very difficult at times, and it takes a while to complete some levels. I really like this game and I'm glad I decided to buy it. I recommend this game to people who like stratagy games, and enjoy a challenge.
