I heard about the game, when I was young, but never played it. Dont know why. When I first saw it on Steam I thought "Thats awesome! But a lot of bad games look that awesome first."
But this game was actually, what it told on the Steam Shop page.
It has a completely irrelevant story
It has a lot of enemys
A lot of big guns
You will never let go of your left mouse key
everything is coop
All in all its the most senseless and most fun shooter, Ive ever played. It takes the irony of pushed-over-the-limit action, overly masculine characters of modern film and gaming to a whole new level and make a nice not too offensive (unlike Duke Nukem) Joke about it.
In the game you destroy everything, from a skyscraper sized spaceship, the sphinx up to to a building sized boss. And thats mostly everything of the game. You run through (mostly very open) one way levels, killing everything, that gets in range and make it to the end of the level.
Very impressive is the ability to shoot (most of) your surroundings into pieces, wrecking complete ancient egyptic temples.
Being an old type of game genre, you have no lifereg (only on the lowest difficulty) and always have to look for guns and ammunition (there are secrets and specials all over the map, like the laser gun and the sniper rifle).
Playing it in coop with other players, doing competitions, speedruns, deathruns and achievments, you can have a lot of fun, if you like just shooting massive waves of enemys.
