A small patch and a quick FAQ!

So first I'm going to start with the patch notes then I'll get to the FAQ.

Patch 01/10/16
-Fixed a few spelling problems.
-Made it so if you lose to GOGO Runny Man you are kicked out of the painting.
-Fixed the "Change of Plans" Achievement.
-Fixed the Leader from disappearing when you talk to him
-Fixed some battle sprites.
-Pressing the F12 button still takes you back to the main menu. This cannot be fixed due to RPG Maker having this function built in. There are scripts to disable it, but they never work.

Before I get started on the FAQ we want to thank everyone who bought and played our game. We honestly didn't expect this game to do this well. We had gone through a lot during the development of Suits. The original idea of Suits was completely different from what Suits is now. We made huge last minute changes during development, like changing and adding enemies. We planned on finishing Suits two months into development, but I slacked off and didn't feel motivated to work. It didn't help that Undertale came out during the development of Suits. Once we saw it we knew that we couldn't do better, but it didn't matter because Suits is our creation. We were talking about whether Suits was a success. We all had different responses. I said yes due to the number of sales and the ratings. The artist(Urban Jesus) said something along the same lines. Proto(Musician) said that once people begin to defend our game for us that is when we know that we succeeded. Suits is the first step we needed to take to reach our goal. I want to thank you all again for supporting us. We really appericate the positive and negative feed back because that is just how we learn to get better. We never try to defend any mistakes that we make because it would only do more harm to us than good. Anyway lets get started on the FAQ.

Q: Was this game inspired by OFF?
A: Yes.

Q: Were the sprites drawn on paper and scanned in?
A: No that would take too much time to do. We drew all of the sprites on GIMP with a tablet.

Q: Will there be a sequel?
A: If you beat the game you will find out.

If you guys have anymore questions I will try to answer them.
We can't thank you guys enough for supporting us. If you wish to support and follow us you can check out our facebook, youtube, and twitter.

Pros:
  • Tons of humor! Some of it is direct, some involves references, and some is sly and hidden
  • Awesome world design
  • Really cool enemies
  • Reminiscent of OFF
  • Tons of little cute secrets
  • Enjoyable and challenging combat
  • Only $1 at full price
  • Easy to get 100% achievements
  • Funny alternate ending
  • Self-aware humor
  • Can be played in only one sitting

Cons:
  • Can be played in only one sitting
  • Some RPGMaker event clunky things like item crates only searchable from the front. This is a common frustration throughout the game.
  • Inconsistencies in text. Currency in menus and near the beginning is "USD" but later referred to as "US Dollars" and later just "dollars". This isn't a big deal at all, but makes the game feel slightly cheaper.
  • Pretty difficult at the beginning
  • Nowhere to recover HP or FU for free, but this also adds to the challenge and money management.
  • Meat Boy is only useful if you spend money on coffee to give him TP
  • Easy final boss battle

I bought this game with not a lot of expectations, thinking "it's only a dollar, but it looks cute" and I was pleasantly surprised. It is definitely worth the dollar. There are some complaints I have with it (mostly about their use of RPGMaker event placing), but the gameplay, music, price, and humor makes up for it.

BUY THE GAME! IT'S JUST A DOLLAR (And even less in a sale)

Anyway, let's get serious. This game is a typical RPG, nothing that special. The graphics are pretty unique, unless it looks lazy to you. The game doesn't look very pleasing, but it's worth more than you pay.

Some things to note is that it has (Both Bad and Good):

-References to various things (Video Games, Social Networks, War, Business, Politics, etc.)
-Some funny moments (but nothing to laugh out loud)
-Interesting Story Plot (although it seems this game is just for the laughs, the whole setting of this game is very dark. I mean, everybody has to work or else they pretty much die. Also, in the game, they are various things that can actually disturb you.)
-Boring Type of Battle System (At first, the battle system is enjoyable. But once you progress in the game, the battle system starts to get bland and you get annoyed.)
-Secret Achievements (I know most games have this, but this game has some secrets that are very hard to find. Most of this game's achievements are part of progress, but some are hidden throughout the game.)
-Difficulty (This game looks hard at first. But if you go in the right direction, and do everything the game says, battles and the game overall is just too easy. The difficulty wasn't there when I played the game.)

But don't get this wrong though. This game is very worth your time. Anyway, get this game! Your money is well spent because this game is very fun and interesting. Do I need to put a rating?
Fine, 8/10

(The game is pretty short/Took me about 5 hours to finish the game. Don't expect too much on a $1 indie game that used RPG Maker.)

I've got to play it some more, but as far as I have played, it is fun with an odd atmosphere. It has got some good humor and writing, and it's just overall great.

Not a fan of the gameplay, but the witty comments and jabs at modern business make it worth the dollar I paid for it.
Would reccommend if you have an extra dollar and a few hours to play it.

The most unique RPG maker game I have played so far. And it is about corporate madness. Funny for people who don't work corporate. Even more funny for people who actually do work in corporate.

11/10 would kill people over a stack of papers again.

Just bought it because it was cheap but it's more than it's worth XD
I fought Staples, Mugs, a Wife Beater, Loan "Sharks", Ties, Ghosts, and other ridiculous things. Attended a trial of Plant vs Zombie, found sandwich and money in crates, got some drugs for free, did a heist to get a drill from a vault, and in the end killed the CEO of a conspiracy :D

It would have been great if I could actually get a date with Coxton after the heist but I guess we can get em' all XD

I fired my first boss's butt and went to screen shot
it returned me to menu
SO I CAN FIRE HIS BUTT AGAIN
10/10
WOULD FIRE AGAIN

But seriously,

being a newly released game for the price of less than a buck you surely get some Grade A certified humor. The graphics may not be enticing but the well thought out homour surely sets the mood :D cause it's all about business.
Right off the bat the humor just hits you and later on in this game is a sweet BGM ;D hahahaha

A lot of effort was put into this and 5 hours into the game and im still not done

This game is wonderful ;D And its a small price to pay for something much more
The save on telephone poles provides a challenge (some people dont like it but it makes it harder)

stop complaining about player collision

Also the amount of references in this story IS TOO DAMN HIGH

Dont play this if you work for a corporation, your boss is watching.

Summary:
Suits: A Business RPG is an RPGMaker game that has set price to a euro. As there are many bad RPGMaker games and bad cheap games, that doesn't sounds much appealing, right? This game is actually a big surprise!

By the terms of gameplay, it's still the good old system we know from, for example, Final Fantasy. But what makes this game great is the ubiquitous jokes and critics that aren't just about business sphere - They have made jokes of almost everything! Undertale-like puns? Check. Gaming critique? Check. Culture references? Check. Political humour? Check. Controversial humour? Check!

This game is here for a price of a cheap coffee, offering few hours full of fun and entertainment. You won't regret buying this if you don't mind the gameplay and crazy graphics.

Pros:
- Jokes in every corner.
- Unique graphics style. It's lazy style but it perfectly fits the comedy that the game offers.
- Very low price.
- Steam achievements.

Cons:
- JRPG grinding. Some places feel a little like a Zubat cave. But it's not that bad here as in other (serious) games of the genre. I was still missing something like Repel.

There sure is a noticeable lack of noses (((if you know what I'm getting at here))).
You are an ambitious white man who wants to do the best that he can. The world, it turns out, is being run by a small group of people bent on manipulating and abusing those around them. You must be careful around these dangerous folk as you proceed to try and make it in life and earn some serious shekels.

The game is pretty good too I guess.

An RPG involving you as a businessman, your mission in this black and white, dreary world is to slowly go into corruption.

I can't believed that I've paid just 47p for this amazing game, I would've paid £4-5 for this and would've been more than happy to!

If you can set aside the art (which I love, it gives the game a depressing feel to it), and you love RPGs then seriously just go for it! The music itself, well there's barely any but that's a good advantage for this game! It's meant to make you think about this world and how horrible it is, knowing that it's all about the money and screw anyone who thinks differently (even just a tad!).

The gameplay is just spot on; you're able to navigate around multiple worlds from the hub when unlocked and each area has its own look. The battle sequence is the usual turn by turn RPG style, but that's certainly not a bad thing at all! In fact, I'm glad that the battles are like this, as it makes me nostalgic.

The writing, my GOD the WRITING! If you see this, TALK TO EVERY PERSON AND EXPLORE THE WORLD!!! The humor in this is glorious, taking its own environment and making little jokes about it (for example, a person very early in the game is called Loanrenzo)! not only this, but it references so many memes that are currently popular, such as Tai from Youtube (fuel units), Donald Trump (small loan of a million dollars), the clocks reading 4:20 and many more! Many a chuckle was had while playing this lovely gem of a game.

I'm still not finished with this game yet, as I've only played for about an hour at this moment of time but my goodness it's amazing, I mean, why are you still reading this review? BUY IT!

I picked this up so I could do a review on it for my YouTube series "1 Dollar 1 Min" and I am absolutely in love with this game already after binge playing it. I couldn't even wait to finish my video review before posting my recommendation here. (Edit: Review is now up, see vid below if interested!)

It's quirky, hilarious, and waaaaaay longer than I ever thought a $0.99 game would be. You have quests to do, items to buy/sell, party members, turn-based fights, secrets to uncover, and loads of plants to talk to. What more could you possibly want in a game?

Buy it. Buy it. Buy it.
