This is an excellent soccer game and free to play. Good graphics, good gameplay and very fun. You cant beat that!
Also, I noticed my disconnections went down after I read the post telling you not to maximize and minimize the game window during online competition. I am still using the keyboard and believe I must need a x box controller reciever.
All hail Miroslav Klose! Although I still dont have that scout yet 8(.

I’ve played more than 200 games in PES 2016 MyClub on PC. And, if you haven’t started playing it, I don’t recommend you do now. Here’s why.

First thing first, you don’t have ANY control at the beginning. When your Team spirit is low, your players will do as they please. Meaning, you won’t be able to play defence at all. Your players will move out of the way so your opponent can score. Those first few days are truly a horrible experience. Especially if you’re an old school player who is used he can win with a weaker team against stronger if he’s a better player than his opponent. No such thing here. Your wins usually won’t be your own, your losses usually won’t be due to your bad playing.

Many players just stop playing here (which you can see from the Steam community reviews). I almost did also, but something drew me to start again and again.

Later, you have a bit more control. Once you get your Team spirit in the 90’s and you get some decent players and manager, it may seem your results will depend solely on your skill. Unfortunately, they won’t. Your results will depend on computers’ calculation who should win the match. Having said that, MyClub is scripted beyond belief. Especially in the terms of Home and Away games. You’ll play an easy game at home and score 5 and the next game you’ll be on the receiving side, finding it impossible to defend.

In those scripted games, if you’re on the side that was decided by the AI should lose, your fastest player won’t be able to outrun anyone; your tallest players won’t be able to outjump anyone; your strongest players won’t be able to win any physical challenges. Your players’ reflexes will be like those of a dead cow. They won’t react to controls, or will react too late. On the other hand, if you’re on the winning side, you’ll feel like you play with ease and your opponent doesn’t know how to play. Not always true – he’s just where you were a game or two ago.

The rules of physics don’t apply to games in MyClub. The FAIR coliding system doesn’t exist. The result of that is the ball will almost always bounce to the team that was decided will win. Players of the winning team will be able to run ‘through’ the opposition defence, while those of the losing team will lose the ball too easy.

The worst example that shows how scripted most of the games are is when your goalkeeper doesn’t react to Y/triangle button, which should make him run towards the attacker. I had this happen 3-4 times in the last month and the result was always the same – goal for the attacker. I suppose my opponents had this same problem when playing against me.

The second worst example for me, which happens much more often, is your opponent sprinting with his player through your defence like they’re ghosts, without making any effort to avoid them. And they can’t take the ball. The same happens on the other side – when you’re favoured by the system.

All in all, you’ll spend most of the games in MyClub two ways: fighting against your own team which refuses to play the way you want it to play and second, being favoured by the system so it makes it easier for you to win. The final result being the lack of satisfaction when you win and a huge frustration when you lose.

MyClub is a nice idea gone wrong in the most important aspect – gameplay. I only hope it will be much more fun and much less frustrating in PES 2017, without the ridiculous scripting.

Free, great servers, nice agent system for signing new players, I don't understand where people are running into problems with this game. It feels great to play and it seems like the only people that don't like it are FIFA fanboys who are scared to try out new things... Graphics are really good and the game is optimised for even a potato to play so download it, it's free!

Aweful gameplay; players take 2 seconds to respond to your actions when it's already too late, and you can easily get fakked 10-0 although you're playing much better than the opponent or your opponent is noob. He just keeps running in a straight line from the midfield to your defence and presses a key called "Square" key to shoot the ball, oh oups, to score a goal*.
Oh I should also mention that the only pros about this game are Konami ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers, it's really funny when you're playing a game and suddenly a box appears saying 'connection lost between you and the opponent (void)', this happens at 60% of the times and really gets me so high that I really start to enjoy it, and uh, w.t.f? Why does the transition between menus take 5 gentle seconds? I guess that when this game coders do their job, they are drunk or something, or guess what, it's a free game so let's ♥♥♥♥ off steam users and enjoy those unique moments, fakk you konami
Now i'll happily go spend 23$ on fifa 16, it would always be cheaper than spending my time on pes myclub

I reccomend this. Because Its free, and it is fun..
It does have some issues though which annoy me, The game seems to deliberatley stop you from running with a defenderwhen trying to cut out a through ball. and only after the opponent has collected the ball will he start to run. This is horrible when it happenes. and it does happen.
The game also seems to decide how many goald you will score. you can hit a ball perfectly inside the box with the perfect power with a 91 rated striker and he will smash the ball out in to the rafters even after yo have used the Rbutton to square him off so he takes a finess shot. Sometimes however your defender can be 35 yards out and catch a volley on his weak foot at 100% power and smash it in the top corner. I guess its suposed to simulate what happens in a real game, but for te game to decide what goes in and what does not rather than your ability is a bit frustrating.
The game also has a horrible habit of selecting the wrong person at the end of a crosss.
You can cross in a perfect ball. And time the shoot button to perfection, only to find that the game selected a player 10 yards away from the player you expected to get the ball. and the ball will then just bounce at his feet and roll away.
Annoying things like this are more noticable as you increase the difficulty..
As for the difficulty; you start off on regular, and the team you have is pretty useless, you get a loan player of your choice "from the list provided" i chose toti for versitility and then you get a high rated player as a signing.. but thats about it. so chances are within the 1st few matches you will be demoted to amature.. At amature level you can expect to beat the best teams in the world 8-0 so you will get uprgraded back to regular fast, at regular you can expect to have to concentrate for the full allotted time and win 3-1 so the difficulty diference is rediculous. from regular to professional is not that much of a difference though (although by the time you are promoted to professional you should have a pretty well gelled team. But this is when the game deliberatly messes with you, It seems easier for them to make your player not run when commanded too and to miss sitters even though you did everything perfect than to make the ai play better..
The actuall meat of the game In my oppinion is trying to get that perfect team together. this is also a bit of a farce as you dont look at your funds and calculate how much you need to bring in via ticket sales and winings then sign the bets players you can affoard. Instead you can pay 10000 Gp and have a talented scout look for a player.. then you enter a game of russian rulette and see who you get... you could easily end up with 8 sorld class strikers. and no decent keeper defenders or mid feild. at 10000 Gp each this soon adds up, so you have to release them from the contract to get money back.. And their value plummets to anything from 300gp to about 1200 gp..
And thats where the micro transactions arive... There are myclub coins. and you can buy some of these, and the best value package is only priced at £70! thats right more than a retail game for coins to buy the players to play the game.
I havent needed to buy the packages because i did quite well in the cup comp. But you can only win those for the good prizes 1ce.
So the honeymoon period is over.

I do reccoemnd this game. but i really shouldnt. I enjoy p[laying it, but it is infuriating, all the little things "how your team works, how your players miss, the random roulette player scout" they all add up to one overall plan.. make you buy my coins. if you are like me and can just say No, then its a decent enough game, and fun to play online with friends who also feel the same way.. But playing vs the public will usually end up in either you get disconnected before the game even starts and you lose 3-0 you go against some one who spent £100's just to get the perfect team, or you bump in to cheaters. so its best to avoid playing vs the public. oh and the croud looks like poop. I hope this is helpfull. i pointed out all the bad bits. and even with all this its a very good game, and its free. just dont Buy the myclub coins whatever you do.

Worst game. Lots of cheaters and lots of lag. Also gameplay sometimes is ♥♥♥♥ed up, don't know if it has something to do with cheaters and 3rd party programs or just their servers, which also go down and disconnect. Wouldn't recommend.
