About This Game

Portal™ is a new single player game from Valve. Set in the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories, Portal has been called one of the most innovative new games on the horizon and will offer gamers hours of unique gameplay.

The game is designed to change the way players approach, manipulate, and surmise the possibilities in a given environment; similar to how Half-Life® 2's Gravity Gun innovated new ways to leverage an object in any given situation.

Players must solve physical puzzles and challenges by opening portals to maneuvering objects, and themselves, through space.

Excellent, unique, creative, and amusing. It's both challenging enough puzzles to be interesting, and short enough to not be tedious. Just like this review.

Portal 1 is art. From the puzzles to the action, the game never fails to keep gamers happy. Though short, it is fun, innovative and creative. 10/10.

I finally completed Portal. I dont really know why it took me so many years to play this game, but i dont regret buying it.
Great storyline and very interesting puzzles that create something that blows your mind. I definitely gonna start its sequel soon, but i totally going to finish this one more time. Definitely worth buying.

Relatively short but sweet. An interesting puzzle game with a storyline lying just under the surface. It also spawned a meme that simply will not go away. Oh, and this game is technically part of the Half Life universe. Might be relevent if HL3 ever comes, and it also explains certain comments.

To get the most out of this game, you need to play it in a relatively quiet setting. It helps you take in the environment and the atmospheric soundtrack better. This is not needed as much in the sequel as the soundtrack and environments are more pronounced.

In general, a very solid title. Shows its age, but that doesn't matter for most of us.

This game is incredible. The mechanics are so great, and my crappy laptop can run it at 200 fps. Graphics are decent, but the gameplay is so good, and the ending is awesome. Highest possible reccommendation, especially if you get it on sale. GET THIS GAME.
