I admit, I've bought it only because it was so cheap. And also, I enjoy playing some a bit older games once for a while.
As I started playing, all I had imagined about a possible gameplay shaterred into pieces. Controlling a character with a suprisingly small variety of commands, with no precise objectives and highly unnecessary hints was sort of depressing. But there was an aspect which definitely discouraged me from exploring opportunities to have some fun (as an average player who has to have every rule of the game given on the plate). Every single time your character was supposed to move somewhere, he spoke one of four latin sentences. Hearing "Alea iacta est" for the hundredth time gave me lockjaw.
I would like to point out that if there are some fanatic fans of The Guild who would like to kill me just becouse I didn't like it - if you are able to enjoy this game, I can only be jealous. I could really use some satisfaction for spending even such small amount of cash.
