A dude from a rival dynasty killed my daughter. I went to the courts with evidence of this. On the day of the trial thugs beat me up and almost made me late. On arrival I found out all the jurors were of that same rival dynasty. They promptly declared the murderer innocent and made me pay a fine for wasting the court's time.

Once the game started I imediately kissed the first random woman I could see, she then complimented me on my kissing skills and then took out a knife and started randomly fighting a guy in the streets.

11/10 best realistic medieval simulator.

First, the don't let the metacritic make you say no. This game is worth more than the metacritic. Personaly, If you read the ALL of the tutorials, its a fun game. It takes you about 25-35 minutes to complete the tutorials, not reading them will screw you in failure.

The pros:
.Four classes, so when you finish a game in one class, you dont say, well Im done, you say, lets play another class.
.Mulitplayer. Dont let the "Single Player" fool you. If you can find people to play Guild 2, then your in for a party!
.Crime: Yes, there is a "robber" class, however you can't just to bad things willynilly. They will find out, and to court you go.
."Villager View" You know in Towns (a game I even still play) how you control the city? Well not here. You are a citizen in a town, trying to make a living. Yes, you can "run" the town, but once again, the game wont just say, Here you go.
.People speak SOME words. You have to admit, thats better than reading text. (you can still read the text)

The cons:
. Ok, theres some bugs here, and some speaking issues there, but still, everygame has their bugs.
. The thing that bugs me is that you only have 3 people you can control at a time. Once you kick a person out of your group, they wont come back. (I learned that the hard way.)
. Randomly, you cant attack robber camps or houses. Its sort of bad, but still, you doing it for the good.

Overall, I give this a 9/10. Its a very fun game, and I will write more once I get the DLCS, and dont look at the bugs or the metacritic score, cause they will lure you away from a good game.

Don't let the Metascore fool you, this game plays better than its rating. This game is great for those who enjoy business and life sims, plus it's in the medieval times. I became addicted to this game because of its political mechanics, and how you rival other dynasties through out time (Through business trade, political regard, and even combat). I have played too many hours on the Guild 2 and the others in the bundle, and I'm always finding out new ways to do things. Does it have bugs? Yes. Is it pretty behind in terms of graphics? Yes. But to me, it's a really good game that I can spend 10 hours on in a row and not get tired of it. If you feel iffy about the game, then just get it when it's on sale. However, I highly recommend this game and The Guild 2: Renaissance and would say they are worth their standard price.
