If you enjoyed Don't Starve at all, even just the smallest amount, you must get this DLC.

Shipwrecked is exceptional, the kind of expansion that transcends the original game. The art, the music, the atmosphere, feeling like you're a Robinson Crusoe on your own set of islands, fighting off hurricanes and sharks -- it all comes together so perfectly. It's just a joy to play.

Like Don't Starve but stranded on a desert island. Have you ever wanted to be stranded on an island all alone? If yes, then this is the DLC for you! Fun and immersive.

I recommend this DLC, however, I find the whole island survival much more difficult and not quite as fun as the base game & Reign of Giants.
Still pretty fun though, and if you are getting it in a bundle its totally worth it.

It's an completely new game for a DLC. Lots of new items to craft specially the new Nautical Tab that makes you craft items for your boat to travel around the archipelago. Well, if any of you doesn't had this DLC yet, I recommend it to buy it.

I haven't seen a whole lot of reviews for this so I thought I'd take a crack at it, and I'll try and keep it short.

I thought it was well worth the money, it does exactly what I think a good expansion does.
It's barebones, you're put in a harsh enviornment that's very different and very hostile. You're forced to adapt and think differently than vanilla DS or RoG. The learning curve is harsh, and punishing, but like RoG it's satisfying to learn adapt and overcome these new challenges. The sailing mechanic is well done, and exploring the different kinds of islands was exciting and at the same time dangerous.

The only real complaints I have is the poison mechanic, and that some of the more essential items (gold) are a little too hard to come by. I found myself without a science machine for longer than a season, and at that point I had given up. Maybe it was just my bad luck!

For just $5 it's hard to beat, if you've found the original game and expansion to be stale this expansion is a great place to jump right back in. And then when you're done, you get to relearn the formula for surviving on the mainland.

I'd give this expansion a solid 8 out of 10, I think Klei and Capybara have done a wonderful job.

Outright amazing.

New biomes, new creatures, new characters, new crafting recipes...basically a whole new game disguised as a tiny DLC!

Do yourself (and Capybara Games + Klei) a favour and buy it. You won't regret it.
