About This Game

NASA has once again landed on the lunar surface with the goal of colonization, research, and further exploration. Shortly after the return to the Moon, NASA has established a small outpost on the south pole of the moon called Moonbase Alpha. Utilizing solar energy and regolith processing, the moonbase has become self-sufficient and plans for further expansion are underway.
In Moonbase Alpha, you assume the exciting role of an astronaut working to further human expansion and research. Returning from a research expedition, you witness a meteorite impact that cripples the life support capability of the settlement. With precious minutes ticking away, you and your team must repair and replace equipment in order to restore the oxygen production to the settlement.
Team coordination along with the proper use and allocation of your available resources (player controlled robots, rovers, repair tools, etc.) are key to your overall success. There are several ways in which you can successfully restore the life support system of the lunar base, but since you are scored on the time spent to complete the task, you have to work effectively as a team, learn from decisions made in previous gaming sessions, and make intelligence decisions in order to top the leaderboards.

Key features:

Team up with your friends...

The fate of a lunar colony rests on the shoulders of you and your team. Communicate and coordinate efforts with up to six players (LAN and internet) by using voice over communication.
Utilize the latest in NASA technology...

A fully functional rover that utilizes lunar physics is available to transport both players and supplies to all reaches of the lunar colony. You can build and pilot your own repair robot in order to fix crucial systems before time runs out.
Immerse yourself in an awe-inspiring lunar environment...

Take your first steps on the moon's surface in a truly accurate lunar moonscape that is unmatched in any other application.
Compete with your friends to reach the top of the leaderboards...

Do you have what takes it to be number one? When you win, your score will automatically be posted to the leaderboards for everyone to see.
A unique experience each time..

With multiple paths for game success, you'll need to learn to work effectively as a team, learn from decisions made in previous gaming sessions, and make intelligent decisions in order to top the leaderboards.
Tailor your game to fit your gameplay style...

Do you want to play with two players or six? With multiple game maps you can select the game environment that best suits your team's needs.

Pretty good game, things are detailed, runs fast and simple. There are lesser minigames which help you do things faster, stay entertained, because the process of things are pretty slow.
Realistic moonbase, basicly looks like an ad from the '60ies.

The game is still in alpha and in cowork with Nasa?.. I think, so be very patient.

Cons: 1 map and that's it.
~things need a little bit more work, collision detection,
minigame stops randomly while drawing lime (time is ok and things).

Critic:
I think this game has a big future. The more you play, the more you explore and easier to advance. You don't really fail at the mission, but if so don't be angry, the game doesn't explain much.
I think as more missions will be added, the better the gameplay will be, maybe some interactive things too, like a rover or a base is landing. (components?)
The game as a must needs a new UI, this looks like something from 2006. (but still alpha so...)
A tutorial needed, but with tips not like use wasd. Tips like use the rover for transporting components (don't repair red, easier to replace), or use the suitcase to take all the tools. Things like put two robot down at first, so no problem later.
But none the less, it's a great job and would like to try it when it's full.

When things are working correctly, this game is extremely fun to play, however, making a server to play with others is just as easy as sticking your d**k in a Cheerio. Seems you have to go through a lot of exceptions in order to play with others. I'm still unsure how to do it properly, and there's no clear instructions online to do it. If you're lucky, you'll find an open server, but often they're either closed or full of text-to-speech trolls. Or you get kicked for absolutely no reason. Basically, the community is hit or miss.

The gameplay itself is alright, it's just you jumping around to a broken piece of whatever and fixing or replacing it, nothing extremely riveting.

As for the spice cake of this game, the text to speech is probably the most favorable aspect. If you're playing semi-seriously, it's a good way to make sure you're not missing any info from your fellow astronauts. But what's the fun in that when you can screw around? There's a lot of commands online that are fun to play with, though I advise you don't do it excessively.

Overall, it's simple, it's playable, it has it's own charm, I say definitely get it if you're looking for a time waster.

English version :

Neil armstrong Junior simulator 2016.

Really, this game is fantastic. The graphics aren't very good, actually it looks like a game that was made around 2003.
They are the same than SWAT 4 or Splinter Cell 1, for those who know them.

But the features in this game are magic.

Taking your rover, going to the damaged coupler, opening the toolbox, taking the wrench, dropping the wrench (yes you don't have 3 hands), carrying the pipe, connecting it, taking the wrench again, securing the pipe ...

All this kind of stuff and everything very slowly, but very realistic.

Some other games should take some notes of it.

When I finished the mission I was like "Really ? I just spent 40 minutes on it, and it's already the end?" But you keep in mind every cool things you saw before.

Now Every games should have the Text-to-speech feature. (Holy S*** is this so hard to make it ?!)

No, I mean ... Really. Play this game. You'll see. It's free.

Moonbase Alpha... Houston, we have a great game

NASA really did good with this one, ESPECIALLY since it’s free.
Your job is simple, fix Moonbase Alpha's life support systems using various tools and drones.

I have always wanted a great space simulator, and stupidly I left this gem untouched in my games library for over a month believing because it was free, Moonbase would be garbage. I was wrong. Very wrong.
So to start off with, you choose how you want your game to be set up from the menu, this includes map size, if there’s a time limit or not, the name and password of the server, and even if you want it to be single player if you desire. From there you’re shown a brief cutscene, followed by a simple 'tutorial' telling how to get things done.
The goal of the game is to repair the base as fast as you can. This is done by repairing solar panels, replacing broken couplers, and attaching disconnected tubes.

From pulling down solar panels, to using a computer operated drone to repair oxygen filters in hazardous areas, this game is very pleasing, especially the slow, awkward movements. Taking forever to walk thirty feet is defiantly more pleasing than it would seem, and you genuinely feel as if you’re on the moon. Making it better is that almost everything is silent, with the exception of your footsteps and the beautiful soundtrack.
You can even team up with some buddies online to try to beat your previous time records, and the Text-to-Speech option can create some hilarious conversations.

Now, if there were more levels you could choose from, and some minor bugs worked out, this game would be a true masterpiece.

Pros:
entirely free
shows off some pretty cool NASA tech
you’re on the moon
soundtrack is amazing
movement feels as it should for being on the moon
online servers or single player
Text-to-Speech

Cons:
only 1 map (with multiple sizes)
occasional bugs
if online you're most likely going to hear some naughty things

Rate: 8/10

If you love space in anyway at all, get this game. Heck, even if you don’t like space get this game!

Nobody takes the game seriously, it's beautiful :,) . Also E A R R A P E.

If you don't like listening to people say horrific things with a robotic voice or loud noises that make your lungs hurt and ear bleed this is NOT a multi-player game for you. 8/10

I haven't really played around with this game except for once with a friend, but the concept is pretty interesting.

tl;dr you need to fix the moon base's oxygen supply which is made up of three-ish parts in 25 minutes or less, else you die.

May update with more details as I play this game more (if I even do), seems more fun when playing with others.
