About This Game

GangWars is a massive expansion for the Free-to-Play Online Shooter CrimeCraft. GangWars revamps the experience for new users while also adding exciting end game content for veteran players.

GangWars is set in the bloody aftermath of the Bleedout Campaign and the destruction of the Scorpion Chamber, the governing body of Sunrise City. Gangs now fight for control of the city. Build a gang and establish "street cred" for your crew based on individual and team achievements. Go to war against your opponents using a diverse arsenal of weapons, abilities and boosts. Capture all 20 unique combat zones and own it all, generating cash, bonuses and loot for your gang's dominance.

Key Features:

  • Territory Wars: Join a gang and fight for control of 20 combat zones, 3 social districts, and ultimately Sunrise City itself! Rule the streets with your gang’s logo displayed throughout and receive valuable spoils.
  • Quickplay: Access CrimeCraft's combat, character customization, equipment shops and social features in an easy to use interface that lets you shortcut the time consuming in-depth RPG gameplay. Players can switch between the streamlined Quickplay experience and the fully featured Sunrise City with the click of a button.
  • Class Profiles: Experience immediate and intense combat action using over 20 distinct profiles, each providing all necessary equipment including weapons, clothing, ammo, boosts, abilities and AUGs.
  • Unique Game Mode: Core Annihilation is an epic game mode that blends PvP and PvE combat. Players cooperate with AI controlled soldiers to destroy an opponent's core while protecting their own.
  • New Turf: La'Famiglia Compound, a 6-16 player combat zone, is the epitome of lavish luxury and criminal greed... a mansion every gang dreams of controlling.

About CrimeCraft:

  • Online Shooter: CrimeCraft takes the best persistent world RPG features (thousands of players, guilds, PvE and PvP Combat, missions, loot, crafting, trading) and combines them with the action and skill based gameplay of a shooter.
  • Frequent Updates: Huge content updates have previously added: gripping storyline, animated cut scenes by comic book all stars, episodic PvE campaign, player controlled nightclubs, tournaments (daily, weekly and monthly) as well as additional maps, gamemodes, weapons, and skills. New items are added bi-weekly.
  • Free to Play: Play as long as you want for free.

The game itself was great but since Vogster isnt in charge anymore, it lacks due of updates and so on.

Now, its just a piece of pay to win crap "managed" by ignorant and uneducated human beeings in Mayngames/Smilegate who just try to suck the last cent out of the remaining playerbase by adding more pay to win stuff. (About 50 players, including cheaters)

I do not recomend this game anymore.

Boykott Mayngames/Smilegate.

RIP CC.

Word of advice: don't treat this like a MMO game.

That basically sums it up, but if you actually bother to read on, be my guest.

I could've rated this game long ago when I first started playing it outside of Steam. I didn't really think it was good back then, I still don't think it's really good now anyway. Don't take my words for it though, most of the reviews you read will tell you the same thing: it is mostly a dead game these days. You could find a few matches here and there, but even if you do, I can assure you they're mostly inhabited by players of the same clan/community, and you'll end up with either 1 out of 2 outcomes:

1) You get kicked because they're having their lovely "clan battles".
2) You get mowed down by an entire clan teaming up against you.

Lucky for you, CrimeCraft isn't all about PvP. It has PvE matches (which actually incorporates the only cooperative play besides GvG matches) as well as an interesting story-driven campaign, IF (yes, if) you pay for the "ticket to the movie".

So yeah, you probably already have the idea that CrimeCraft is, for the most part, a money-driven game. A lot, if not all, of the features in the game require you to cough up the dough you earn in your life and not in-game. Don't get me wrong though, despite that, CrimeCraft is far from a "pay-to-win" game. Buying good equipment does not make you invincible or give you insane damage; it's still about reflex and skills.

If there are certain products that interest me (yes, I paid for CrimeCraft) it would be character customization options, but that's just me. The only reason I ever play CrimeCraft is the character customization and the PvE element.

I would recommend this game, but as I said in my first sentence: only get it if you're not planning to treat it like a MMO game, Get friends to play with you and treat it like a LAN game, but not a MMO.

Hikumi gives this game, a 5 out of 10.

The game itself is ok and it is filled with good ideas, sadly, the overwhelming amount of pay-to-win players and overall scarce population draw this game back.

there is only one solution to that problem, increasing game population.

Where to begin? This game is just bad. I got the game for a TF2 hat. After a long time, I got the hat. The hat was not worth the time I spent on it. Terrible graphics, trying to be sexy square women, constant swearing and terrible one liners, this game has it all. You can't ever find a match, the entire game is pay to play, and the controls don't even make sense. The combat is awful, and the leveling system is bad too. The AI has no brain, and the "open world" part is just a big mall. If you are going to get this game, don't. There is one good thing about this game. The uninstall button works just fine.

I can't get the game to run mainly because of the member part. Sent to second Email. Requires password. Have to go prenium to set my own password. 2nd Email, forgot password. Try to recover, fail. Go back to game trying steam. Nope. The game even ruined my Google Chrome data. And why do the graphics look like Half-Life?

this game is kind of fun to be honest, but the servers are DEAD. I came for the hat but what i had to go through to get it wasn't worth it. Don't waste your time.

This game used to be fun and great, but now the game's dead as ♥♥♥♥, it's not even slightly worth playing. All that's left for you to do in this is run through all the lame PvE missions alone to advance, and if you play PvP, all you get are the players that may or may not be hacking, because they're just that ridiculously good at no-lifing the dead game. If the game were more populated (The high point in population is probably around 100 people) it might actually be worth playing.

tl;dr It's dying, it's not very fair.

10/10 would get quickscoped in 3rd person again
