im really not sure what to vote for this game. im going to go with not recomended thoguh. so first problem. the resalution can not fit in the computer screen. im sure this can be fixed but i have yet to find out how. 2ND: the game is WAY to easy. All u have to do is place soldiers and let them do the work. you can beat the first few mission without firing a single round. I would not be saying this if u did not test this theroy. story line is acualy pretty ok. Its more of a game i would play when the internet is down

well it doesn't list controller support, but it does by default, with no option to set it to keyboard/mouse or any key mapping, without which leaves guess work for the keys, as such i will not recomend it or bother to try playing til that is fixed

Keep in mind its still in early access at the time of this review. Version 1.8.
It was fun until the level after the gas station. Mountains. There for the first time those enemys with the rocket launchers appeared.
With the credits/money I had earned I didn't have enough to protect any generator and always died in the first wave, latest in the second. I wanted more cash to get past this so I thought I´d grind the previous levels to improve my score and earn some more cash.
But for some reason all the past levels suddenly also had these rocket launcher enemys where they didn't before. I gave up on trying to play them and started a new game, knowing all my progress would be lost and I´d have to start again from mission 1. I did this on purpose because I had planned to change my strategy on spending the money until I got to the mountains mission again. This did not work as I wanted it to. It looked right at first: I had only 2000 $ starting credits and all the missions were locked except mission 1. Then I started to play the first mission and... those ruthless rocket launcher enemys again. Also the weapons I had unlocked before were still there, which doesn't seem right when starting a new game. But now with a lot less money, the levels still insanely harder than the first time I played them, I didn't want to play anymore.

The other bad thing for me was the lag. Every few seconds the game would freeze only very shortly but when a lot was happening this occurred noticeably more.
I admit I don't have the best gaming pc but I can play comparable FPS games in medium to high quality without lag. Especially in singleplayer mode. In this game I had the graphics quality set to low the whole time. There weren't any other graphics options in the menus to get it to run better and I also disliked that I wasn't allowed to set up any keybindings.

I enjoyed C.R.E.E.P.S. until that one mission like I said and after that the story mode wasn't playable anymore. I also tried the "TODAY´S CHALLANGE" mode shortly but even in there were those rocket firing enemys, also always in the first wave. I know what I needed to turn the areas around the generators into defensive positions and keep them safe. To collect ammo and money after a wave and upgrade my weapons after a level. The first missions of the game worked good. It had potential.
Hordes of enemys, tower defense elements because you set up the soldiers, turrets, barriers and so on whilst shooting the zombies/monsters in first person perspective to protect the generators. I like these types of games and have played similar before. Sadly this game suddenly changed difficulty after playing half of it, so much infact that all previous missions became insane and I wasnt able to earn any more currency and have an actual chance of beating the rest of the levels so I gave up for now. I hope the problems get fixed so I can finish the game and maybe write a positive review. I like the artwork for the menus and loading screens also. Just the "gunplay" font was being a little overused in my opinion. Anyway I´d be happy to play it again if and when the higher priority issues are fixed.

Game has some great potential except I have seem to have some issues running this game with Win10 64 bit 6 core AMD with 16gb ram with a old Nvidia 750ti video card, you would think it would work ok. I would get a crash in main exe then when i exit the game the same thing happens.. game runs smooth, feels like a half life mod. Will add to my review as time progresses and I see some updates.

good so far. price tag is a bit steep IMO

Well so far I can definately say this game is alright.

Gameplay: Has the feel of an odd Half Life mod. But in a good way.
Sound: No music as far as I heard. Just monster and people voices.
Graphics: *Please refer to Gameplay for this answer*
Replayability: Seems ok and could be a potential time waster

I do have a couple of small cons with this game.

1: You have to manually reload every squad member or equipment you get. Wish there was a squad member or equipment for that since theres 2 for squad health and equipment health.
2: Wondering what the people who made the description thought when saying "Many different weapons". Theres 4 guns and a knife. Maybe "Several different weapons" would have made more sense but "Many" is overselling it.

Overall its not bad... but not extremely good either. It kinda meets on the center of the teeter-totter if you take my meaning. I mean give it a try and see what happens really. Least its cheap. Have a good day fellow gamers. Hope this review helps.
