The game is very nice and interesting - the action takes place in a ruined world where there are only two robots. Slowly walk and explore this new post-apocalyptic world, solving different puzzles.

It is a very well made adventure and puzzle game. The style of the game is very unique and very well drawn. There are several mini games which need you to think thoroughly.
The strongest points to this game are the music and the atmosphere of a post apocalyptic world.
I really liked it. Cute. Very cute. Probably one of the cutest games I've ever played.

Myanmar-based Kodots Games describes “Wanda” as a “tale of … finding companionship, love and hope in a wasteland.” The game introduces itself through a blue robot that somehow avoided damage, emerging out of its pod before starting its journey in search of anything that responds. About a third of the way through, we meet another robot, this time red, and our small band of robots continue their journey in search of… anything.

“Wanda” prides itself in being a “minimalist story-rich puzzle,” and rightly so. This game has no dialogues at all, only running with a series of robotic sounds and unknown symbols. Paired with the game’s soundtrack and a few bits of sound effects, the players are left on their own to observe and draw the story out for themselves. But is it really effective?


I have to admit, there’s something inherently sad about a robot repeatedly making the same sound more than 50 times, which I assumed meant “Hello,” only to get no response. The beautiful artwork accentuates the feeling of sadness, leaving you to wonder what really happened in that world. It’s clever, really, to make the player feel a sense of tragedy with everything that’s broken on the ground, only to juxtapose the scene with the beauty of the starry night sky. It’s a conflicting feeling, to say the least.

However, I’d be lying if I said that “Wanda” hit me in my emotional sweet spot. Yes, I felt bad for our blue robot, cheered for him when he met the red robot, and felt bad for them when they’re being scared by thunderstorms, but I never quite connected with them as much. Their journey did not feel normal to me - it felt controlled and contrived. It felt as if their travels were simply a means to move the story along.

Wanda is such a neat little puzzle game with a beautiful story. Puzzles aren't too demanding, but they will still require you to stop and think to find the solutions. Gameplay isn't very long, but it's part of what makes Wanda so peaceful and chill - until it gives you all the feels, that is.

The game "Wanda" is a beautiful story in a first place and you need to relax to experience this fully.
All characters have souls and you can emotionally attach to them very easy in this post-apocalyptic world.
Nice hieroglific language and sounds instead of dialogues make this game funny and touchy.
Hand-made drawings only can make these feelings stronger.
Occasionally occurring logic-puzzles are nice and different each other - well done!
It could be more game in this experience, but it's still worth to play it to see it and feel it :)

Wanda is a beautiful game, there is no doubt about it. You plays as a robotic survivor of a lonely wasteland. The plot seems like a typical post-apocalyptic game at first, but trust me on this : It get juicy later on. Yeah, Juicy is the word for this game.

What I like about this game is that the entire narrative relies on subtle character animations in the cutscenes. There are no readable dialogues in game, except a few tutorials. Your main protagonist and his cute little buddy only speak in some sort of robotic language. The cutscenes are plentiful and they are all well done, especially the later ones. In fact, the game is 70% cutscenes, telling you a very touching story. The music in each cutscenes are simply awesome. They are not your usual looping background music. I noticed the music is perfectly timed with the scenes. A perfect fit for the game’s art style and narrative.

The puzzles in the game are well designed. It’s not sophisticated physic puzzles. But rather, very creative wide array of puzzle. You have to disable the force file. Dodge the lighting balls. Use portal guns to create way and at one point, the blue one become tiny to add more flavor in gameplay. They aren’t mind-blowing puzzles but quiet impressive and well made for a game that focuses on story-telling. The game is flexible with puzzle too. You can skip them on repeated failures. A plus point for me.

This game is rather short. But the novelty is strong with this one. Do you enjoy playing unique artistic games with “juicy” narrative that will leave some thoughts for you to ponder even longer after ending credit? If yes, I’d totally recommend this game!

bit of a Slow Start,I was also confused, then I checked out the Alphabet to this game's world.
Amazing.
Well thought-out story that says so much with less words.
Reminds me of Wall-E, It's got that ort of tone to it.
The puzzles seem alright, I did a quick play and only had to restart puzzle once (after I figured out crystals replenish your entire meter. then it became clear)

I've been having fun playing this game so far. The puzzles are challenging but not terribly difficult. The story is cute and has a lot of heart. I love the look of the game as well. The character designs are very interesting and it is amazing how emotive these little robots can get, even though I can't understand a word they are saying. If you are a fan of the old school SNES RPG titles, I highly recommend this game. Check out my first episode of my play-through to get a good sense of the story and feel of the game.
