About This Game

The year is 2170. One after another, the human colonies have fallen to the seemingly limitless invasion force of the enigmatic organic ships known as the Wrog. Entire armadas of Earth's fighters have been decimated. Our last hope lies with the Freedom Strike, a massive super-tech battlecarrier fitted with interchangeable turrets and a fleet of specialized drones, built with one purpose - annihilate the Wrog and save our species!

Infinium Strike is an original tactical tower defense game that sees you as the weapons officer aboard the TSF Freedom Strike. I thought a TD game was all about progression:- more weapons, harder enemies, new upgrades with every new level. Not sure if buying the game gives more gameplay than the pure tutorial mode of the demo so I'll wait for a while and see where this goes.

From the 2 very short "tutorial" missions the demo allows you to play, I have gathered that this game is.. mmmmm delicious. Extremely fun to play, in the later missions with bigger and better hull/turret upgrades the potential for high level strategy is immense.

This game is graphically beautiful, the UI is a pleasure to use, the system works perfectly and for the vast majority, bug free. Pretty awesome for an alpha demo. I can't wait for the full release. If I had only seen this game earlier, I would have committed some $$$ to the kickstarter. Now I will just have to settle for playing the demo over and over until they release a version that includes all the missions. *sigh*.

Download the demo and you won't regret it. It's free and it's the most epic TD defense game I've ever played. And it's set in the theme of space. What more could a nerd want? Good graphics, good playability, high replay value, solid game engine, good UI, good tutorial, intuitive design.

I enjoyed it, I would give it a 7/10 overall. Some more distingushing skills on leveling up turrents would be big a improvement instead of just upgrading the damage each time you level up a turrent. Also being able upgrade the mothership im more specific ways. Tower defense games are all about upgrades the more the better usually.

Tower Defense in Space. You equip turrets of different sorts to a ship. You use various abilities as well like calling in fighters to assist your large ship or restoring your ship shields instantly. Enemies come in 4 directions and you build one the 4 sides of the ship, front, sides, back. pretty fun

My first thought after clicking Advanced Demo then swiftly losing was "oh ♥♥♥♥ this is hard" ... no mistake, this game can get pretty frantic. I can't wait for Arcade mode! It ends right when it's getting good.

The demo has a problem with the exit screen though, even after you wait through the ads and song, there's no exit button and no windowed mode in fullscreen (unless you already switched to windowed) so you have to alt+F4 or task manager to kill it. Seems like an oversight.
