About This Video

What would happen if a group of high school stoners grew up and became the faculty at their own own high school? "AUSTIN HIGH" is an irreverent comedy that finally answers that age-old question. Fueled by the threat of a city-wide crackdown on marijuana, the story follows the adventures of the blazed staff of Austin High, and then travels far outside the school walls to chronicle a collection of very colorful (and very high) characters around Austin.

I can't believe that I wasted 1hr and 40 minutes of my life. The jokes are lame and it was a miracle I did not fall asleep throughout the movie.

A totally forgettable movie. I would rather play "What's under my blanket" for 2 hours.

Stoner humour at its finest. Very funny and actually has point to it. Feels kinda cheap but who cares its still enjoyable to watch. For the length of the film and production you are getting more than you are paying for. Best watched with buddies really high

7/10 if you understand the angle they were going for.

This Movie is all about WEED so i think its more in order to review weed, and that will take like a life time so i say it in short :
weed is good, too much weed is poison . you reap what you sow, your freedom of choice, the end !
the movie was fun cool and had many nice visual effects and i really enjoyed it, i hope you do too.
your take from something is your opinion, nothing more . each player is in charge of his/her controller.

i give this movie : 8/10

I got this movie because it was cheap ($0.69) but it didn't live up to the good reviews it has. All the jokes in it are forced. Its basically a movie that a 12 year old would enjoy.

So disclaimer up front, I am not a movie buff. I watch relatively few movies compared to my friends and family. That said, I do like weird, quirky, movies. Examples would include Napoleon Dynomite, Office Space, Fast Times at Ridgemont High. So I didn't have real high expectations for this movie, but did enjoy it. One standard I use to judge movies like this is how many one-liners did I find entertaining. While most would probably be considered profane/swearing, here is one of my favs from the movie:

"Sir if you would go ahead and NOT show me your testicles, that would be the best thing in the world"

So I got this as part of the 3 movie special and watched this one first. I'm going to give it a thumbs up, especially for the $1.99 combo price.

I have no idea when it comes to production values, plot etc if a movie is "good". I just know if I like it or not, and this is a "like"

It was my first try to watch smthng on Steam. And i realy dissapointed by subtitres timing. Very bad.

Its your usual stoner movie. Well worth the .69 I spent on it. Its not as good as say Half Baked but certainly worth watching none the less.

P.S. when the hell did Steam start selling movies?

Recommended if you can lower your expectations.

Overview:

Watch this if you like eccentric, hippie stoner comedies. Some of the comedy was cringy, but I was able to stay in my seat.

Pros:

- A few of the scenes were genuinely funny, most of them warranted a chuckle at most
- Good Casting choices, a few of them overact.
- If you're from Austin, Texas, the scenes are shot locally
- Decent cinematography.
- Light amount of satire.
- Nudity ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
- Soundtrack.

Cons:

- Honestly, the best parts of the movie can be found in the trailer.
- Some events that happen in the movie feel forced together
- The ending itself is very contrived.
- The theme of the movie is never fully explored, comedy is expected to make up for it.
- Things seem rushed towards the end.

5/10
They did alright and it's quite cheap.
