Chase your future self through time and alternate realities while fighting giant monsters, collecting hats, and eating cake! No Time To Explain is a game about Time Paradoxes, Jetpack Guns and Ribs In People's Eyes. It's a comedy platformer featuring great music, voice acting and gameplay that becomes more ridiculous as you go.

We're an indie game development and publishing company. No Time To Explain is our first game. It came out of a successful Kickstarter and Greenlight adventure. Since No Time To Explain, we started helping other developers with their games. After getting enough muscle behind our internal studio, we came back to No Time To Explain, and completely remade the game in a proper engine. No Time To Explain Remastered is free for everyone who owns the original!

I got this for free idk how but the game is super awesome in my opion and if u bught it it would be well worth the money becuase its just that awesome so take my word if u havent tried it get it its a really fun game and the lvls are a bit challenging (in my opion) so yea

I received this game for free for owning the original release. I've completed the original product, so I only opened this up to see if it was better and to get card drops, hence my low hours.

This release fixes a few of my complaints over the original, such as the colour filter bug and a few boss issues, but I still don't really like it. It's got a fun idea and a good concept, but it hammers it to the point of irritation with so much screaming and 'randomness' that it's incoherent and just gives me a headache after a few minutes.

The gameplay is actually really unique and I like it. If it was a more straightforward story and less annoying audio, I wouldn't be so hard on it. If you want to play it for the gameplay, mute the audio and ignore the flashy crap going on. Otherwise, it's a solid concept lost in a garbage pile of nonsense and far too much screaming. Random does not equal funny, especially for more an hour or two of gameplay priced at $15.

A fun platformer where you can use your gun to propel yourself among other things.

This game. Its like smoking 20 pounds of acid mixed with cocaine and heroine. What is this f*cking amazing sh*t.

You guys are rivaling super bonk in level of weirdness.

Many drugs were used to make this game.
Or 8 year olds imagination.

Worth fourty dollars in my opinion. this game is pure magic. and difficult, its just perfect, from its difficult bosses and weirdness to its great level design and insane story. its an amazing game honestly i love this amazing thing. i dont exactly know what genre this is but you know, its uhhh the, weird as f*ck genre?

11/10 Deserves more people to buy it. my one complaint is..... well i dont have any. this is a masterpiece

At first, like many people who got this game for free, I was very confused. I looked it up, and apparently people who got speed runners during early access (I obtained it though a humble bundle) were given it for free. I hope this clears up some confusion found in many other reviews.
My thoughts: Played it for a while, and found myself frustrated and bored. Personally, I did not find the game's sense of humor very funny, but maybe that's just me. Most of the jokes involve this poor, random person screaming in pain. I found the laser gun thing really annoying to control, As my momentum dropped and spiked randomly.
I do not recommend this game for $15.

A decent platformer in the "super hard but small levels with easy restarts" hardcore sub-genre of platformers whose poster child is Super Meat Boy.

The controls are a bit floaty/unpredictable, but the game always restart you instantly at the last platform so failure doesn't sting and it's easy to retry again and again until you succeed. Though many levels are standard fare for that type of game, the "laser beam jump" mechanic is well exploited, with many variations, and there are a few levels that are really clever and/or funny.

Finally, the crazy story and different settings for levels will keep the game fresh enough. If you stick to it, you should be able to finish this game in a few hours, making it a good time waster that doesn't outlast its welcome.

Fun, quick little game that only took me around 3 hours to finish. There is some replayability due to hidden unlockables, but the main storyline is quite short. I would definitely recommend the game on sale, as 15 dollars for the amount of content available is asking a bit much.

I personally received this game for free because I previously owned Speedrunners, so I decided to try it out. To my surprise, the mechanics were enjoyable and not too frustrating. The game offered many great ideas and variants that transformed upon various platformer mechanics. At times I felt the controls were a bit irritating but for the most part I had no issues.

This isn't an amazing platformer like Super Meat Boy, but it is definitely worth a play, especially if you already received it for free like me.

No Time to Explain is a wild ride, full of wit, and a very unique and challenging platformer.
I'd recommend this game to anyone looking for a fantastic Local Co-Op experience.
It has it's own place in a list including, Super Meat Boy, Battle Block Theater, and Castle Crashers.

The time put into this game on my profile is incorrect.
If you're an experienced platformer, but not speedrun tier, expect 2 1/2 - 4 hours of a completionist playthrough.
I played it offline with friends of mine while on deployment overseas.
Stage by stage, my friends and I raged, laughed, and cried.
Killing the end boss was extremely satisfying.

Recommended Buy, 9/10.
