I'm still addicted to this game, by beautiful graphics, gameplay and background music.
By the Wizard, you can flying around stand atop conjuring ladders.
There are plenty tutorial's on youtube about how to pass levels and achievements.

Trine 2 is a gorgeous, fun game that I would wholeheartedly recommend, even though I am not someone who normally enjoys puzzle games. The world is vibrant and colorful, with great music and fun, if simple, characters to go along with it. It is a light-hearted, relaxing, fun game with a lot of charm. The puzzles were enjoyable. I had a good laugh with my co-op partner. We trolled each other and had quite a few memorable moments playing the game. I feel like the wizard was the most well-thought out character in the game and that the thief and knight didn't get quite as much attention as the wizard, but this is a very minor nitpick. Playing the thief and the knight wasn't a bore; I mostly played the thief during my playthrough and still had a great experience. The puzzles were creative, but not frustrating. I didn't feel that any of the puzzles were unfair. I found myself laughing at the silly mistakes we made more often than not.

4.5 out of 5

One of the best co-op games you'll ever play.

Out of all the games I've called beautiful, this game is the pinnacle of beauty. But even if it was as ugly as sin I would recommend this, because it's one of the best co-op experiences you'll have on the PC.

Taking on a knight, wizard and a swinging thief, you dive into the beautiful world of Trine solving puzzles and laughing at the mishaps and physics amusement that occur. Not so fun as a single player, but still worth a buy.

The short length of the campaign and a few overly challenging puzzles are minor blemishes in an overall entertaining and worthwhile experience. Fans of the side-scrolling and platform genres need not look elsewhere, Trine 2 offers a wealth of truly innovative puzzles that are a welcome getaway from the current market of repeated genre titles.

This game is brilliant!
The atmosphere and graphics are truly amazing!
Can be utterly frustrating and equally rewarding when you get pass that seemingly impossible part of the level.

Sometimes this game can be easy, sometimes nearly impossible, especially if you're determined to get the Master Collector achivement.
Not sure about the replayability though, unless you're after the achievements.

Trine 3 must be in development, please!

Trine 2 is the definition of what a plaformer should be. The graphics are top notch with great lighting. The fluidity of the animation and controls are perfect so that while some of the puzzle sections may be difficult at times they are never blamed on the slick controls. The levels are long enough to be enjoyable and not too long where they get boring. Each level offers a variety of landscapes and scenery, all of which are beautiful. The storyline is forgettable, but still sets up a good reason for why you are playing the game. The three different characters offer very different ways of playing and each offer different ways to solve the puzzles. Think of it as an action only version of Quest for Glory where each character has a different solution to each puzzle. The addition of the Goblin Menace, the Dwarven Carverns and now the Workshop has helped expand and continue the gameplay of this fabulous series. The best part of this game is the multiplayer offering. Now with online multiplayer, this game truly shines when playing with two or more players.

The price for this game, when on sale is typically under $4 for the entire complete story. Take advantage and don't miss this great game. Bound to be a classic in gaming history.

First thing I noticed was that this game has very beautiful graphics. It is a 2D platformer, but it looks so dynamic and magical. I enjoyed a big part of the game almost only because of the graphics. It enhanced it, let's put it that way.

The gameplay is good as well. There is some action and you have to solve some puzzles to get further in the level. The combat is simple, and not overwhelming. Some puzzles are simple, others are quite difficult to solve. The co-op mode is good as well. You play basicly the same levels, but now with two characters. I doesn't make it easier at some points, because you really need to help each other. So it makes it really interactive.

The story is nice as well. The characters are good, they are well involved in the story, not just observing people who don't interact at all.

Really, I don't have anything negative to tell about Trine 2. I just love this game, it is fun to solo, and fun to play with a friend. I would recommend it to everyone. It is on sale quite often, so you can save a lot of money on that.

My rating for this game: 8/10

An incredible game. The original Trine was awesome, but Trine 2 managed to significantly improve what was already a fantastic game. The major improvements over the original in order of significance: online co-op. Need I say more? The ability to save mid-level (cannot stress enough how much I appreciate); combat - while the mechanics are the same, enemies are much more challenging, compelling and aesthetically interesting. I enjoyed combat in the original, but repeatedly killing skeleton soldiers wasn't all that gratifying; puzzles - after only a few levels I noted that the puzzles seemed slightly more challenging than those in the original. Perhaps this is a trade-off for the ability to save mid-level. Whatever the case, I found the overall difficulty to be about perfect. I also loved the new environmental additions, such as water that makes plants grow, etc. Great stuff.; graphics/art design - the original Trine was a gorgeous game and yet the sequel is noticeably more visually stunning. Probably the single prettiest game I've ever played.
10/10.
