(I decided to make a review for this game because it was one of the first digital titles i played and loved,
opening the doors for me to indie titles. And also, because its sequel is right around the corner!)
Forget Tomb Raider!
No, i dont mean to insult the revolutionary franchise, i'm a long time fan myself. I mean this game has
little to do with it's main franchise, at least gameplay-wise.
Or maybe not!
-The scenarios are magnificent temples, ruins and... tombs!
-There are a ton of traps, which means a lot of platforming.
-There's also a lot of epic puzzles (in sense and scale).
-The combat is very fluid and intense, with a lot of variety in the weapons department.
-The story is decent, if only a bit relegated into background.
-There are very few characters... but one of them is Lara Croft, and she's amazing! I wish there was more dialogue, though.
-The sounds and music... well, i dont remember! But that's probably a good thing, 'fitting', i say.
-The collectibles. So many relics and artefacts and stuff to collect, truly an explorer's fantasy.
About the coop, i tried it very little, but it seems to be well implemented and make an already great experience,
Maybe im a bit biased, but this is one of the best digital titles i've played and i highly recommend it to anyone
who wants 'the whole package' in a game, and is not afraid of some isometric views!
