I can see where Dota 2 got its inspiration from. This game is God's nectar itself; the scrotum that sits gently on the MOBA genre. Bad Rats is the main inspiration for all MOBAs of today's day and age. Meepo himself is just a feeble (and might I add less detailed) version of the rats. However, I have to acknowledge Dota 2's massive graphical improvement over Bad Rats. They said it couldn't be done, but adding a whole 5 pixels to the game really did make it stand above the rest. Bad Rats is neither changing nor evolving, it is the perfect game which guides all others of its kind (Doto 2). It has no genre, for it is like a delta which transcends all genres of gaming. Intuitive game-mechanics drive every aspect of Bad Rats, eventually leading to the complex, unique courrier system that Dota 2 has. The versitility and viability of Bad Rats will be enjoyed for ages to come. Men will look back at the dawn of video game ingenuity, and wonder, ''How can such a masterpiece be recreated? Will there ever be another game to stand the test of time? Will Doto 3 ever come out?'' To them I say, ''No.'' Good Rats, not Bad Rats. Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Praise it.
