Could not get it working until I tweaked some advanced windows settings, and then the resolution the game could play at did not work well with my monitor or my capture device .... because apparently 720p and 1080p were a little out of reach for this game! Eventually I managed to magically get the game to show on my monitor and had the option to change to one of three resolutions ... all of which were 4:3 aspect ratio and all of them very low. Not a good start!
Once the game started, it was not quite as horrible as I had been lead to believe. The core concept was sound. You have a variety of objects and rats with special abilities. You use these objects and rats to guide a ball around several obstacles to hit something that will britally murder the captive cat in a humourous but not safe for children manner. And in general the game works .... I mean OK the physics are a little unpredictable and you may have to run the same solution a few times before it succeeds, but the basic game works and is suprisingly entertaining.
But it just feels like they got a prototype game made and released it with no polish, plenty of bugs, and made for computers not sold this century. This is a case of a good idea that just missed the mark in every other way outside of that great idea.
Oddly enough I hope the developers don't give up and keep trying because something about this game just made me wish it had not been crap.
