About This Game

Somewhere along the venerable Route 7, in the middle of nowhere, you will find Joe’s Diner. As an employee working the graveyard shift for the next month, your primary task is to keep the tables clean – no tough challenge at all.

Unfortunately there’s a rub to it. The old Diner was built on the site of a former Indian cemetery. Amongst the buried, two rival chieftains are laid to rest; while alive each could not stand the other.

One chieftain endeavors only to rest in peace. The other, a prankster both in life and the afterlife, is prone to ruffle the feathers of his fellow chief.

Besides your tasks as a waiter, it’s up to you to keep things calm and not incur the angry chieftains’ wrath. To lay them both to everlasting rest just do your duty. Sounds easy but it’s not – promised.

Pocahontas is pissed off and Crazy Horse has gone.. well, crazy. Joe's Diner summarised in 3.5 minutes. I honestly didn't need that long.

This game is far from perfect. It is definitely interesting, and has potential to become better, but right now the horror is somewhat lacking. First of all, for the first 12 nights, if you get the hang of the game fast enough, you won't die a single time, or even be in danger of dying. The sense of danger disappears, and the feeling of dread gets replaced by irritation, because of repetitive gameplay. The actual ghost that kills you is just a photoshopped picture that pops up on your screen for a second, and then gets replaced with game over. The death scene seems much too rushed, and could be improved. That being said, I am only on night 12. There is always the possibility that this game really picks up. But still, it should've picked up in pace on around night 6 or so. But all things considered, the game is still enjoyable, and even at times funny. Why the hell are you even working at a diner for a minimum wage, that has absolutely no customers, and that can literally kill you if you don't do your job well enough? Go work at Faz Bears Pizzaria or something ya dare devil! If you want to see the first 10 nights played through, and the death scene, check out my video below!

The person who wrote the sales page for this game had the balls to say it features "Innovative Gameplay."

I didn't realize pressing "E" to interact with objects was considered innovative in 2015. 'Cause that's all you do while you clean up after people too lazy to take their slushie with them and turn off whatever item some jerk ghost messes with.

If there's too much noise, you eventually get a split-second of a photoshopped Native American and a game over. But if you take too long to clear the tables (the game considers a 6+ hour shift to be about 5 real-life minutes), you also get a game over.

It's the most tedious game I have ever played and this is considering that Steam sells Visceral Cleanup Detail. The only real way to win this game is to never buy it for youself or anyone you care about.

UPDATE: Since I'm a nice guy, here's the ending of the game: Nothing.

Yeah, your reward for dealing with 30 rounds of randomized nonsense and tedium is the credits and then it kicks you to the menu.

Because "30 Nights at Joe's" would have made everyone not buy this game.

What I hate about this game is how the gameplay is literally picking up trash and turning off random appliances for 30 days. There's honestly nothing more to this game. Oh and ghost chieftains dropping potato chips and duckys on the ground (SO SPOOKY!).

The best game if you want to feel like a real parent were it feels like you take the little **** into any shop store and tell them not to touch anything then they touch anything and eveything. After turning off t.v's, ccoffeemaker's, and vacuum's they leave a mess everywere and your the one that has to pick up their bag of crisps everywere on the store floor. Patience/10

Strictly speaking, this game has nothing to do with horror genre, but it's still quite enjoyable and strangely relaxing experience despite the fact that you must run around like crazy to be in time with everything.
I'd even call this game cute at some point, because the spirit that is constantly calling a sex line while chuckling lasciviously is such a playful poltergeist! Seriously, how can anyone be mad at his little pranks?

Pre-Release Review
One ghost of an ancient chieftain likes to prank and make noises in Joe's Diner at night. While another Chieftain ghost cant stand noises and if stuff gets too loud, he will not be a happy to say the least.
You are cought in the middle, and you need to both do your job at the Diner at night, and reduce any noise the one Chieftain makes, if not.... well..

this game is not worth $8.00 maybe 2 but not 8 because all you do is clean tables and reduce noise maybe if you consider the atmoshpere is pretty good but this game isnt really a good horror game
0/1000

shift 10 - ? now there are bags of chips on the floor...not making it more fun

Time to get a real job.

(updated)
Well, I wasn't expecting this many people read and hate my "dumb snide comment", so here is what I really think about this game:
It attracts me with the atmosphere, I would enjoy my experience in an old shabby restaurant, feels great. But the gameplay doesn't make sense, I mean, how desperate I am to get a job work until 6 a.m. while need to be as quite as possible that won't awake my boss. And the cellphone making random noise all the time, can I just shut it off? Or I was awaiting an important phone call at this moment that would make my ex came back. And the coffee machine, can I just put the coffee pot somewhere else.
And the TV. OK, here is the question, is this game realistic or supernatural, if it is realistic, why that TV keeps turning on, somebody explain it, thx. If it is supernatural, please tell me that my boss is a horrifying monster, it will explain a lot.
One last question, why all the dishes are totally not been touched, how disgusting are they.

Ok, I think I made my point here, now is the time to get a not so desperate job and get paid, hopefully I will get my 7 bucks back.

very funny game in which you have to clean all tables in the diner and keep the noises down for 30 nightshifts.
sadly the horror lacks. but i heard there might be updates coming soon in the near future. Shifts 1-20 are rather easy to complete. Shifts 27-30 are really frustrating. maybe wiz games could add a real ghost to the game that actually scares you. looking forward to future updates on the game. so far if you like haunted places games this is for you. but remember you dont get a close encounter with the ghost :(
