This game is terrible. I don’t even know where to begin. I’m not going to hate the graphics as they help set the more laid back and casual tone of the game but I will call out the horrible animations. Look at a game like Strider, which is what it feels like this game wants to be to an extent, when you push the attack button there’s this really cool sound and the enemies get a little bit of hit sun and there’s a little light that pops on them to signal you hit them. It’s satisfying. In this game the character kinda sloppily waves his sword around and the enemy just kind of dies after a while. Oh and ninja stars and AK47 bullets have the same graphic! And I feel there’s a lot of questionable design decisions like that in this game.
Like why can I only double jump at certain times? Why is it I can only jump slightly upwards or be committed to a record attempt at the horizontal long jump? Why can I push up wanting to go upwards on a wall and get hurled across the screen. Here’s a good one, why is it I can be walking along the ground just fine but I go beyond one girder and all of a sudden the floor instakills me? For real that’s a design choice in the game. There’s no indication either that floor past a piece of scenery, that looks exactly like the floor before and after it, will instantly kill you. These are very bad examples of game design. The game does very little to teach you anything. The most it does is give you like a ghost you to run ahead and show you how you’re supposed to make various jumps. As mentioned earlier though, the game is very finicky about double jumps wall jumps. Thank god it gives you like 10 hearts that take 4 hits a heart. You’d never survive more than the first half of the level that way. See you’ll first try to kill enemies, realize how boring that is, then you’ll try to jump over them to skip them. When you do that you’ll discover all you’re going to do is bounce on their heads like a non-performing Mario. Huh, there’s actually nothing I can think to say positive about the game other than the music is very fitting.
Folks I couldn’t play this game more than 20 minutes. When I say this game is bad believe me this game is bad. Don’t give your money up for this schlock. Spend the extra 10$ and get Strider.

Buggy amateur platformer about kinda ninja. Lot of bugs, ugly graphics, animation reminds me prototypes of mods for Half-Life 1. Gameplay? There is no gameplay, it's awful. Do you really need this? I don't think so.
Nothing "Ukrainian" here. Nothing good here. I'm glad that I got this for free.

I have played a fair bit of platformers during my time and I must admit I have seen better!

In terms of graphics, it is average. The fluidity of the game is poor but what got me are the “TERRIBLE” controls especially with the gamepad.

I am genuinely disappointed with this one.

For me, it is not worth the money.

From the little time i've played i can say that it's bad. This game has bad voice acting and the first thing you notice when you start the game they say ''So, you want to hear a story eh?'' Just like they did in Borderlands and it's the same style with the drawings. For being a 2D game the camera is, i was just doing what the game told me to do, fighting enemies and then there was i guy i missed because the camera decided to go behind some car that was smoking so you couldn't see anything because of the smoke and that should not happen in a game were you cannot choose were the camera should be. Also you're playing as a ninja who looks like he belongs in a cartoon show and the enemies are completely different know that they are both human. Graphics are bad for being a game from 2014/2015 they could've done it better. Gameplay is weird there is not too much to do except going forward jumping (kinda parkour-ish) and just hitting one button to attack.
Not worth full price definitely not. This is my first serious kinda review so sorry if it's not good i'm not use to these things.

I honestly don't know what to make of this game. It's just bad that it's awesome. Reuses Unreal Engine 3/Unreal Tournament assets, You're just a Ukrainian Ninja fighting Resistance Fighters(?) in Ukraine and stopping mechs and choppers with Unreal Tournament 3 rocket launchers and giant sticks of TNT. 10/10 would Ukrainian Ninja again.

Graphics:
They're barebones, they vary from detailed to drab, low resolution samples. As stated earlier, this game reuses Unreal Engine assets, including the font normally used, the Rocket Launcher, and probably more. I know graphics are not the appeal for this game but it's mixed in my opinion.

Gameplay:
It's a platformer, you go around as the Ukrainian Ninja, slicing and shooting your way through Resistance Fighters(?) with four weapons in your arsenal: your fists, Katana, Shurikens, and of course, the AK47. Enemy AI can be really dumb and not see you from behind. Sometimes, there are collision detection issues, from your character clipping through level geometry to enemies magically disappearing after defeating them. Death is a slap on the wrist, you respawn on the get-go with no repercussions. Learning curve is easy for beginners and experts alike.

Length:
It could take half an hour to an hour to complete this game on a first playthrough

Story:
There's barely a story apart from you, the Ukrainian Ninja, being tasked by the Trader, to defeat the Resistance Fighters somewhere in Ukraine. The Resistance Fighters are armed to the teeth with futuristic Mechs and will stop at nothing to destroy Ukraine.

Sound Design:
Oriental music, not much but repetitive. Sounds consist of your ninja making sounds like 'yeah'. No sounds for weapons, although the projectiles make a laser sound.

Overall:
It's hard to recommend a game like this. It's obscure, yet fascinating at the same time. I wouldn't recommend this for replayability until the devs get the other levels released. I'd recommend this if you want a quick platforming fix however.

Best intro ever.
But the game itself is umm...could be worse...but not worthy to be on steam. Like many others.
Not worth the money. Don't buy it.
The controls are horrible. Everything is horrible.
1/10

I bought this game during the starting Sale for 2,49€ and have to say I'm not disappointed.
It is an average jump and run platform game with much much self irony.
It started with : why Ukrainian Ninja? But then I asked myself, why Sleeping Dogs? There are no Dogs in this game.

The gameplay is just an irony to the unreal engine. There is a scene where you can use the Unreal tournament rocket launcher to defeat your enemy.
I like to play games like giana Sisters Twisted dreams and while this game does everything right Ukrainian ninja has his flaws. The graphic is the typical Unreal engine 2d platform, not the best idea I think. The ninja looks more like a cartoon and the enemy's a bit to human.
It took me 1 hour to play both all 4 levels, I hope the four more will be 1 hour long too.
But then the gameplay is smooth. The jumping needs a better polishing, double jump should also be able while you fall down, the Jumping else is great, the wall jumping is fun and cutting enemy's is cool too. The Level are different. The first one is a town where you jump along buildings and constructions. In Level 2 you fight on a train, in level 3 you are in a bigger town map and in level 4 you fight in the sewer for me its enough of a world change.

For a 4.99€ Indie game its OK, a few fixes and achievements would be cool for it.

I got this game during a promotion and played 2 hours so far. First of all, this game is a low budget indie game sold for 4.99€ the same value I pay for a snack. So don't expect you get something you can play for 30 hours or with great visual effects. I have read nearly all reviews of this game and people's reviews are all the same: buggy. Stupid controls. Bad graphic.

I stepped on 3 bugs on my first playthrough.
First: I died when stage 2 begun.
Second: the ak-47 can't hit people when you are to close to them.
Third: My ak-47 disappears after the con collect or running bonus game.

Controls:
Its average, the only problem for me is: Double jump only available while you are jumping and are on the top spot of the jump, every try after wards and no double jump.
Graphics: What game to compare? Farcry 4 maybe? Then this game is ugly. Five nights at freddys? Then this game looks really good. Terraria? Still better. There was a time Indie games where called low budget games. They looked bad-average and had an exciting gameplay. This game does the same. While the graphics and textures could be more polished and look better there is no need to do it.
Its an jump an run with the possibility to slash and shoot enemy's instead jumping on their heads, you should try jumping on their heads this is really funny.
How I said I played it for 2 hours and got it finally. Level 4 in the sewer has a to hard part for me and it took me way to long to take it.
This game entertained me for the period of time I played it. The music is cool, once you start becoming the Lightning ninja the music gets even better.
I recommend this to everyone who wants to spend 1-2 hours with a self ironic game, while you can shoot, backstab and jump over your enemy's. The Only flaw for me are the boss fights, they are nothing special and take the speed out of the fast gameplay you can have.
Then the last thing: This game has cards, no valid argument for most of you, but I sold on of my foil card for 8€ so I had a snack and was paid to eat it. All I wish are achievements and hoping the other 4 worlds are not taking too long to get them.

A quirky rough and ready 3D - 2D platformer, with voice overs from the same guy (by the sounds of it) as "one day for Ched". No insta-die here though. Infact its quite the opposite with lots of lives and progress save points to help you clear through the levels. You have a settings page where you can change screen resolution / go fullscreen. But currently not possible to change control keys, which is a disapointment, as I would have like to not use the mouse, and just use the keyboard by itself, by asigning another key to fire, and weapon scroll. So I would recommend using a controller for this one.

It feels very early access, with level's to come etc. Ukranian ninja has a cute compact miniture size, which suggests he's really, a little person. It looks really cute to see him pound away on his enemies ... Although a lot of the time, you will find you can hop on their heads. You have various weapons, the ones of which I have unlocked so far, are flying stars, and a sword. There is also an AK-47 by the looks of it. You can change from melee betreen your available weapons using the scroll wheel on your mouse.

The progress through the levels is guided with orbs in a lot of places which give you the way to go to complete objectives and get maximum gold. There is a store to spend the gold in, with 10 gold for health, 10 gold for throwing stars, and 50 gold for AK47 ammo. You stand infront of what you want, and press e (y on controller).

Cards drop quick which is nice, and neccessary as it only takes a couple of hours at most to beat. The second and later stages seemed more buggy and less thought though. For example running through a train that you cant see the ninja in. The price is appropriate, would like to see some achievements. All in all not a bad game.

Game is funny. You are ninja that must stop evil.... At begging you need to destory a tank which is really easy mission... After that you need to destory helicopter and you done first world.. There are 4 worlds new 4 comes soon. Movement of game is maybe really not *cool*. You move very fast and if you miss jumping box you become a little angry!! Figthing is really easy 1 or 2 punch is enough to kill an enemy (soliders)... Also you have shop in game where you can: restore your health, buy shurikens and ak47... If you play some old games that they have cricle fire bullets well here is same... You try to miss bullets and kill enemis.... Enemies are sometimes just glitched and you can easly kill them.... You have wall jumping and double jump.... After die you press fire and it's spawns near your death... Sometimes enemies attack you very fast abd you die fast... Also when you on train picture really moving fast and maybe someone don't like it.

Developers really make a good game. They really try to make good ninja game.... I talk with one of them.... Game will got new updates soon

Rate of game: 9.8/10 Character should move a bit slowly or you have a button to press sprint and on train picture really move fast!
