About Pineview Drive

http://store.steampowered.com/app/288880/

An old abandoned mansion lies at the dead end of Pineview Drive. A troubled man is standing at its gates, looking over the property. 20 years ago he had visited this estate with his wife Linda. During their stay his beloved vanished without a trace – her mysterious disappearance unresolved.

For 20 years no clues, for 20 years no peace, for 20 years this house on Pineview Drive has not relinquished its tormenting grip on him. Now, he returns in hopes of coming to terms with his nightmarish past.

The ominous legends haunting this seaside lodge have become renown. The stories abound that no one has been able to endure more than 30 days within the mansion since Linda’s disappearance. Facing a force greater than you ever imagined, you must cross the threshold and confront the evil that envelops this cryptic cottage. To solve the mystery of Linda’s disappearance and lift the veil on this troubling history, there is no time to spare.

When I first started it, I was like "Meh, it's not THAT scary.

I started walking...

The sounds grew, and started to creep me out.

I explored a couple of houses, creepy, but I was still holding it together.

Then I saw the church... I hate that church, I started to get shivers.

And then I jumped out of my seat, and game over.

I asked my wife to try, as she was sitting beside me, not paying attention while I played.

Unfortunately, she refused...

Good game!

I didn't go far enough to say something with sense, but when you see that there is no many 'living' (or not) things which can attack you and suddenly during watching house you hear steps outside... its not funny. Is real scarry
Like F2P is really nice game!

Passing Pineview Forest is an interesting and quite suspenseful game. The first things that caught my attention were the environment and ambience of the forest. The thought alone of walking through an unfamiliar forest at night gives me a very uneasy feeling. My favorite thing about the game would have to be the music and environmental audio. It really added to the entire experience and made me feel as though I were in the forest. At a certain point, I actually felt my body getting goosebumps.

I did notice something that bothered me, but being mini-prequel game I don't much care at this point. The playable area is not very expansive. When I imagine a forest, I visualize walking most anywhere and creating my own path.

Overall, I enjoyed this game and look forward to future work in this series.
