WarZ is almost a good game compared to this thing.

There are many zombie types here - mutant zombie, big zombie, schoolgirl zombie... Auschwitz prisoner zombie... nazi zombie... devil zombie... Buddha zombie... Very realistic apocalyptic world.

It's ♥♥♥♥, really, nothing more worth to add. I like that Steam opens for more indie games, but this one shouldn't be sold.

After listening to the ingame music, I knew why the publisher of this game named itself "Digital Homicide". Buy it at your own risk.

I can't even play this. This game is just thrown together garbage and should be taken down from the marketplace. I've played some terrible games (DARK, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, Shaq Fu and The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct just to name a few) and this game takes number 1. I can't Think of a single positive thing to say about this game. I can't believe they charge people to play this. Don't buy this game. There is WAY better indie games that deserve your money.

And no, I'm not only reviewing this because of the whole incident with the jimquisition. I got this game because a friend sent me a free code that the developer had sent him.

I don't even know how to start to describe how bad this game really is but I will try anyways.

As you probably would've guessed "The Slaughtering Grounds" is a FPS in which your goal is to kill as many zombies as you can. The first time you start the game you can only pick one character, which is some kind of redneck and you've got 2 guns at your disposal (revolver & shotgun). If you somehow manage to play this game long enough you can buy new characters and new guns.
When running through the map (singleplayer or multiplayer) you can kill zombies for money and grab ammo. The zombies are all just standing there untill you come close then they start chasing you.

Picture DayZ but with bad graphics, a small uninspiring map, no survival but with all the bugs and glitches. Ammo caches mostly fly somewhere in the air, the music is annoying as hell, the zombies make a weird sound after they've already been killed which makes you think one is standing behind you, the FOV is probably around 20 or something, The HUD & main menu look awful, do i need to continue?

The game looks like it has been made in a few days just to earn a few bucks... stay away from this one.

The Jimquisition: The Slaughtering Grounds – A Steam Meltdown Saga

The framerate drops significantly the moment you look at anything, your system essentially hard-locks whenever there's any kind of loading, and I can't even MOVE because assigning the movement commands to the arrow keys doesn't work at all. Oh sure, the config program will let you do so just fine, as it's a Unity standard, but.. the game itself doesn't acknowledge the button presses! What the hell?!

Plus all the stuff covered in the video above, concerning both the game itself, and it's developer. I'm not sure if this game is the worst title on Steam, but it's certainly in the bottom ten. Avoid at all costs.

DON´T...i repeat...DON´T waste your money (or time) on this horrific cr.ap. this is worse than playing a shooter from 1999. and i have to appologize to the games from the 90ies for this. i don´t remember one game that was as bad as this (and i remember a lot of them). you have to realize, that this is not a beta or even early access. nope, it´s already released... at least the price should be a big warning to everyone.

i can´t say it often enough! DON´T BUY THIS. it should be in early access at least for min. 6-12 months. at this state though there is not much fun at all in it. tiny map, bad animations, glitches, outdated graphics (the blood on the screen looks like it was made in ms paint!) and much more... not even the crosshair is in line with the gun barrel. looks like your aiming in two directions at the same time. i didn´t see this in any other released game (i can´t remember any though). i don´t believe there will be much change in the future.

they give away keys too (i wouldn´t pay for this cr.ap, not even 0.10€)... i won´t post links or so and don´t add me for any infos.

this is the second game this dev got through greenlight afaik. check-out "forsaken uprising"...

honestly. when i first started it, i thought, okay,... "old school". but the further you play you ask yourself "what am i doing with my life right now?"

i guess the developer should ask himself the same question, because this is a robbery.

and its a shame that you try to shut everyone up while you ask for help for your little game studio at the same time.


ive personally given away about 50 keys for your game, to friends and people in my steam list, to make them happy. and when i want to say thank you in your hub i get banned.

Don't buy this: it's buggy, unfinished and looks like 0 effort was put in.
Mod teams have done better jobs than this.

Google Image search obtained blood splatters,
a 30 second loop of music that is the soundtrack,
bugs,
glitches,
absolutely no real objectives,
repetitive and boring gameplay,
broken multiplayer,
broken AI,
unrewarding gameplay,
lack of sounds for hit damage or item pickup,
the worst radar in a video game possible,
a confusing cargo plane which flies sideways,
all made and programmed by a developer that is essentially a crybaby vunerable to any sort of criticism that the game recieves, and vents these tears through a fake Youtube channel,
overlapping videos of critique with nonsense,
attempt to shame Youtubers with said nonsense videos and fake contests on community forums and basically being a coward to admit that the game is an absolute waste of space on the Steam storefront and should have never been birthed, or existed in the first place.

Laughable for about 5 minutes. Awesomely crappy and bugged. And you have to like the overuse of cheap particle effects ...

This game is a scam. Do not buy it. It's ugly, it has almost no content, the only song is a dumb free rap beat and the dev even recorded the trailer with the free version of Fraps. Don't buy this crap.

Got it for free, and still feel like I overpaid. Ugly, runs poorly, and controls even worse.

It's a total piece of shiet. Seriously, it's not worth time and money.

Graphics looks like games on ads on any website, where they wan't you to shoot any target and after click directing to other website (it's not a joke, just look at screens). Music is the same 1 minute loop every time, sound are bad, zombies looks like nothing (after u kill them, every single of them are exploding with the same "animation" and blood...). UI and blood effects on screen... they looks like bad cuted out in MS Paint on Gimp graphics with added some bad formatted text.

They gave me away BETA version 3 days before i made this review! How they tested game in 1 day? Who the hell even made this crap must buy glasses, because he not even know what he made. This is just worst game i played on Steam, Bad Rats here is a masterpiece. Developers are probably again some bunch of sharpies, who think that they made game in a short time and earn millions $$$ or just to show everyone that they have game on Steam...

Don't even try to touch this game. Your eyes will bleed and ♥♥♥ hurt that you waste your time on this...
