Amazing tool. It's like sculpt painting on an infinite canvas. Definitely a truely odd feel, but intresting at first, which you get used to rather quickly (especially crawling and kneeling on the floor to get low laying objects/scenery and under things) To walk around your project is a unique experience, and overall it is highly recommended, but since mine came with my vive I got lucky. Still, it comes with alot more tools and variations than one would expect and i've seen some really amazing things on the net. My wife did an amazing rendering of our dog,heh. I am terrible at anything artistic, so i would say you should definitely have some talent to work it well. But even to just play around with some of the funner tools and just fill up your space with fun lights, twinkles and flashy shineys, then walk through it all is also an option if your like me and suck at art. Also it is frequently updated/patched.

Overall: 8/10 and worth the 30 price tag (goes on sale alot though) if you couldnt get it with a vive bundle and like art and creating things.

This Programm is amazing and shows, how VR can bring whole new aspects into our lives. It is amazing to draw into the 3rd dimension. Also the interactive Features like sparkling stars or glowing are things, that you can't do (or only with workarounds) on a normal flat 2d painting.

I cannot imagine using it professionaly but surely it is great fun and a good option to draw something for a friend or for a greeting card for example.

The program lets you take pictures with a photo-cam to transfer your art back into the normal world so they can be seen without the VR tools.

I really recommend checking it out. A screenshot of a 3D Pic like you see some above is great but it is something totally different to have a look at in 3D and beeing able to move around in the pic.

Excellent update (Aug 10th, 2016) includes audio-activation in some of the brushes. A very nice touch that lets you create scenes that come to life.

Tilt-brush is definitely a fun time waster. You can get lost for hours creating weird things.

It would be nice to have a few more brush options, but what is provided offers the flexibility of creating all different kinds of things.

This is wonderful. I do have a few suggestions:
1. Copy and paste
2. Drag
3. Ability to add words (typed)
4. A sphere option

I am doing molecular modeling and these functions would be awesome!

Just received my Vive today and this was one of the first demo's i tried.

I'm not someone who will do something artistical as relaxation and
i don't thing Tilt Brush will change this, but i do find that this is a very nice show case
for VR. Especially the UI control of my left hand was really cool. Hope to see
this more in games.

Conclusion
VR app you have to experience one time and maybe you will come back
more when you're feeling artistically.
